My sister lives in different country , in her city she travels for free because she is over 65 but in some cities she need to pay discounted fee but still pay, because free travel starts at 70. I visited Greece last month, in some places there was 50% reduction of admission for seniors , in others nominal like 1-2 euro , in other still students had discounts but not seniors and in one students had it free and seniors paid full fee ( it was still cheap like 3 euros ) all this variety within 1 week. So bottom line is when of suspected age we need to check if we meet conditions or not and don't assume next place grants it as well .

my comment below is not directed at you or your guy but just reflection triggered by your post. it did happen more than once for me that guy who was star on one trip lost his luster on the next one for reason known ( usually lost shape or asked for additional money at the wrong moment ) or unknown. It works in reverse too at at times , rarely but it does happen , guy well known from last time clearly tries to avoid my eyesight next trip. Jomtien places are charging 300-400 for massage so with 1200-1500 fee it leaves plenty of room for boy's tip , specially all he has to do is walk 50-100 meters if you are based in Complex as well.
