  1. I don't think I recall Pao but it's nice to know we have sharp eyed spies on the ground.
  2. while you are spot on, going that far to be glued to the screen seems very expensive way to enjoy one's smartphone from my experience and what i heard from others that seems to be established , accepted and fair practice I'm joining chorus : great and informative report !!!
  3. that number looks like beauty mark for me
  4. I like Kao and Pete from 'Kiss ' series and Kongpob from 'Sotus' better
  5. welcome to the forum Photoloverssby and oatbank
  6. not only that guy thinks so, # me too hence my private nick for him -"'Handsome Cambodian"' now he should be called ' Handsome Witty Cambodian "
  7. perhaps not that usual but I'd rather say sadly 'more common"
  8. and Pattaya seems to be virus free, am I right ?
  9. for outside use, for internal 40% apparently is sufficient and it's why there are no cases in Kazakhstan ( label is Kazakh and Russian and of course English )
  10. at least it gives his statement a lot of credibility as " I miss you " is so standard claim by boys that probably even newbies to Thailand don't believe that.
  11. we have 2 epidemics running at once, coronavirus and fear. I wonder which one is worse for a health of world's population
  12. Spoon, you sound pretty romantic when comes to H !!!
  13. 40 % is level of protection I guess and 60 % still your risk, or may be other way arround ? To bad we can't see label
  14. good, at least we don't need to fight over him in case of us being in Thailand at the same time, LOL
  15. a bit of exposure to all those nasty germs may actually help us to built some immunity and resistance
  16. Luang Prabang is very compact , packed with dozens of temples and did not land on UNESCO list for nothing. Not far from the city itself there are scenic cascaded waterfalls and 1000 Buddhas cave , accessible by very scenic boat trip on Mekong. One can spend easily 4-5 day there without getting bored - see samples.
  17. don't be chicken and just go, focus your mind on what you see from above , not operator skills, balloons are expensive and operator wants to return home as much as you do
  18. or you took better care in selection whom you traveled with
  19. no harm done
  20. 31 balloons already !!! When i was there in 2001 there's was one and it was very recent novelty. Still probably best 200 USD spent in my life. I wonder how much it is now with all that competition ? Place you went to is called Mt. POPA, it will not be any consolation but then I had the same problem you guys had - barefoot ascent and descent with monkeys holy shit and pee all over but from your narrative at least it looks there are regular cleaners. Place is very impressive though so readers should not to be discouraged from visiting but rather prepared with water and towel to wash their feet after all climbing is done. I run out of "likes" today as it seems to be daily limit , will make for it tomorrow.
  21. you are clearly on the roll with that comment. ( my underscore in quotation), any trip for them , even few days foray outside of city where they are working is welcomed distraction and chance to break daily routine. Most of those guys don't have much money for leisure travel and are lucky if they get more than 2-3 days off per month. Wherever we take guys with us we should be prepared that they will share our interest in the place only to a certain degree unless it'll be their home country and even say Cambodian guy taken to Cambodia likely will long more to see his family and friends than Angkor Wat or Preah Vihar. So we should be prepared to give them their freedoms at least at some time during day but be firm with what we want to explore at that time , with guy in tow or not.
  22. stay there until Brexit is done
  23. You are not ! there are much bigger chances than if you cancel your trip and stay home you get flu there than contracting coronavirus while crossing Patpong toward Foodland. In my opinion panic is worse than virus itself , easily treatable with potion I presented few days ago in Beer Bar section on the forum.
  24. good news are piling up
