  1. it may not work as they are training buddies but never hurts to ask
  2. all trouble started when Moonlight models started asking for 5000 tips and their customers obliged , thus increasing tourist spending in Thailand which in turn led to strengthening baht. Cheap charlies complaining that some, including me , are paying inflated tips can feel vindicated as it's clearly a case of us sawing off branch we are sitting on. At least this is how I see source of today's troubles with strong baht, guilty as charged.
  3. we can live with both hope you recovered in full and waiting patiently
  4. another case of being 127.63 % right, "rarely ' is good word because exceptions apply ( Singapore ) And being right doesn't hide fact that wisdom is not universal as issue is more complex than just full shelves in supermarkets. A lot of people in former East Germany and indeed in former east block feel "Ostalgia'" and we can't accuse them of being uniformed. Even in UK just recently you had real threat of electing quite leftist prime minister. Broadly speaking sense of unfairness is very little mitigated by full stomach. Which brings us to original subject- it's great that medical care in Thailand costs 1/4 of what Westerners pay at home but it's still affordable to ordinary Thais ? It's great that a lot of people have great insurance paid by employer providing access to a best treatment but is it fair that many don't have insurance at all?
  5. You are 127.63 % right but Germany and Japan were REAL threat. What threat small island 90 miles from Key west poses to mighty USA 60 years after warheads were removed ?
  6. you don't have any belief in human race
  7. put them aside and when I will be in BKK next time I will pick them up from you. But your comment makes sense, I noticed in dark bars it's hard to distinguish specially between 100 and 500 which may be costly mistake but may help with boy's erection . For those who may be puzzled why that is not my problem - I don't use wallet and have habit of placing different denominations in different pockets, always the same so 100's will be in left pocket and 500's in back one. And I fold money separately thus preventing accidental pulling of 2 notes instead of one . agreed on all counts but after few days daytime becomes boring which is never a case in Bangkok which has busy river as a bonus . Hunky guys are easier to spot in BKK as well
  8. that's perennial problem. We have work so have money but no time. Then we retire and there's lots of time but less money. But remember as consolation , rare fruit tastes better.
  9. hopefully your flu is over and now time for your report to join ranks of all those great reports you mentioned above, no?
  10. Cheap charlies will pay up or go to Pattaya. Same , same as before .................. Two gold medals for Nut, that's great and well deserved
  11. let me tell you , not a bad idea
  12. imperialistic propaganda at it's best, whole world has changed only Great Britain has still the same queen and has still the same sanctions 3 generations after nukes were removed
  13. I like to hear from people on the ground in Pattaya as it's a case which I doubt. 40% would be quite a drop visible and felt everywhere. For me it looks like most of those numbers in alarming articles , just taken from the hat at random according to the old rule that 78.43 % of statistics are made on the spot
  14. as for Moonlight models I have an impression that ' nonperforming reputation ' is created by voices belonging to people who never actually offed them. Few members who did , including myself ( Nicky, Fluke, Tam - before he become model though ) actually seemed to be quite happy with experiences , only reservations were whether expense warranted it. But like with all ' luxury ' items ' , disappointment is always possible as those who tested expensive alcohols can attest. Also you seem to be happy with your trial run of Smart (?). One out or members reported offing Babe twice so obviously nothing wrong even if such 'star'. So old advice , listen to everybody but go and try for yourself still applies. ................. as for naming there are, in my opinion , two equally acceptable approaches , either no name but graphics or no graphics but name. Either way satisfies only part of reader's curiosity but keeps boy's reputation intact. ............. perhaps UN effort and expense in establishing peace in Cambodia resulted in access to better schooling in English or at least to conversation in that tongue but I agree, Cambodians seem to be better English speaker than Thais. ....... that guy you mention was not in Tawan when I was there in Aug/ Sept and Oct so perhaps gone or well sponsored You are author of serial in this forum. You not alone re-reading reports from past endeavors to energize before future trips. I do the same with mine about twice a year.
  15. that is sad news for us readers, thank you for a great and energizing report !
  16. all those we have at home , no need to suffer 24 hrs travel to taste then only because it different time zone
  17. still it's very nice and rewarding just to make sure
  18. one day it will be somebody brave enough to nominate deservedly Thai entertainment zones of Patpong, Nana, Cowboy, Walking Street and Jomtien as World Heritage sites and THAT will be reason to celebrate . And no , I'm not making fun here, think about that, out of 100 people who know about Pattaya there;s may be 5 who know what Ayuthaya is, already on the Unseco list
  19. Zing may be peaceful but I had sleepless night at TheVenue when Q Mark bar had their party, couldn't sleep at all so went at 2 am to see what racket is all about and ended bringing one of their waiters as consolation. I still remember conversation with him : he" are sleeping alone tonight ?", me : ' no , with you". Racket continued but at least I had my never calming consolation. Venue is not for light sleepers but still can be recommended because comfortable and sizeable rooms they have
  20. we patrons come and go but I feel sorry for boys who are subject of that " treatment " night after night
  21. Actually there are many cities in the world without subways and many countries without railways, even in Thailand's vicinity so MRT, Skytrain and even old humble Hualampong my be quite a tourist attraction for somebody coming from those places. Speaking from personal experience, back in 1997 biggest highlight of my trip to UK was same day, round trip from London to Paris on the train under La Manche ( English ) channel, big rail novelty those days.
  22. no , I don't
  23. I'm nobody there, not known to managing staff there neither frequenting it that often so my voice would not weight in their decision. I rather give wide berth if it's too loud and go to Tawan or Moonlight or have massage at Bangkok Massage
  24. Really? few probably yes but "lots" ? I think it's hateful generalization about our membership,
