CROWDSOURCING: Advice on Myanmar - Yangon, Bagan and Mandalay

gtnewb, welcome to the forum and thank you for a lead to that great Myanmar trip report -
funny thing , I was about to comment the same but I'm glad you British subjects above were first. But I guess as long as they spent such behavior is tolerated and in a sense, welcomed. Problem with Chinese turists in Thailand seems to be that they spent too little being herded from place to place without allowing noting more than a glance - good example are those who are touring Boyztown at night, never saw anybody buying anything or even stopping for that matter.

What is your public excuse to visit Thailand so often?
vinapu replied to abidismaili's topic in Gay Thailand
Is one more factor leading to "stay quiet" direction we seem to overlook in this discussion and it has nothing to do with gay, boys , sex etc. It's simply jealousy - as for most people Thailand is very exotic destination and by implication those who don't travel that much think it's very costly to get to. So you will get comments how rich you are and how you can afford to send your money so wastefully etc. Speaking from personal experience and I need to add quite painful one as years ago upon return from the region I run into serious problems at my former workplace over the issue. Ever since I stay quiet as about where I go for vacation ie. I blatantly lie that I'm visiting my sister living in another country or will be painting my kitchen and fence around the house which I don't even have / fence , house I have thanks God/ -

CROWDSOURCING: Best Massage Options for a Non-massage Customer

reminds me massage I had at Sun beside Tawan, boy was working so fast that I was almost sure he has 3 hands and all there busy LOL Numazu is right about 4 hands - on paper is good but execution is another thing but I's advise everybody to try using TMax approach above -
it's actually OP phrase, I just borrowed from him

abang , just force yourself to be happy, sometimes before one enters the paradise needs to go through purgatory, good to know one is at Don Muang. You don't like Chinese or what?

CROWDSOURCING: Advice on Myanmar - Yangon, Bagan and Mandalay

Shwedagon is in Yangoon , not Mandalay. I don't agree Mandalay is a city for one day only , old royal capitals in vicinity- Mingun , Amarapura and Sagaing are worth visit. While I agree about merit of visiting Inle Lake I always warn against trying to pack too much into visit . Every place we are visiting should be left only after we start getting bored with it -
What is your public excuse to visit Thailand so often?

may be due to the age difference? -
that is correct but that "no one bothering" may include boy who will be prospective off

Most of my trips to Thailand were on my way to/from other countries in the region so I simply dwell more on other destinations in my tales and Thailand is known to my friends and family as just a place where I change planes and spent just a day or two. Since I'm coming from well traveled family and most of my friends are well traveled as well we are rarely talking about our trips to Thailand as everybody was there so is not such exotic destination to my folks to ask too many question why and what I was doing there. -
In BoyzBoyzBoyz , Boyztown you will find few chubbies you will like. Don't waste your time on Sunee as personnel there is on skinny side. Boyztown overall is the best spot for people watching all the time from 7pm. to close.

Welcome to the forum, we are looking forward for a next installment. Don't worry about accusations, your money, your vacations, your priorities and your boys. Nothing wrong about being holiday millionaire. You work hard , save money even harder and spend it as you wish. If somebody gets green with envy there's good news, in Thailand easy to get whitening cream to get rid off green. Fresh Boys are mentioned more and more often recently , perhaps they are on track back to their glory days when bar was one of most popular in the soi.

If rumors will be proven true in Dec we may have Hero re-opened so I'd replace Prince with Hero but watch this and other forums for reports how Hero works after resurrection. After all boys may be happy in places where they are working already now and they may have staffing problem. As for 4 hands this is an exercise you must make your own decisions based on your guts only. Either Prince and Arena may be worth of trying due to big pool of boys available. You pick up one you like and let him to pick up second one subject to your blessings, at least this is what I'd do. Bangkok Massage soi twilight may be good place to try for 4 hands , specially that you can choose boy/s/ without even going inside -
While I agree that in the past there was more bars and perhaps more selection I'm not one who longs for days gone, since they are gone and gone for good. Since out of 13 trips spanning 2001-2016 my 12th one I consider the best , one more reason not to dwell on the past glories but rather concentrate on what next trip may bring. What is important fun still is to be had and it's worth such a long trip.

no, I'm still missing 63 mark , not by much though. yes , older we are we appreciate mileage better and better because inevitably we start having more and more friends who did not make it
-
not a bad idea, for may last two birthdays I crowded bed with two boys and liked it.
-
it would be me , reasoning is instead of spending hours combing thorough photos from by-gone trips it better to spent time thinking about next one. But as you noticed , to each , it's own.

I didn't know people live that long

Temples of Bagan are very good for bicycling around. I still after all those years remember magnificent Ananda , Dhamayazika, Thamayangi temples and river and ruins view from Mingala Zedi If one has time, trip to Mt. Popa with it's temple on the top of mountain is a must IMNSHO, hire taxi as it is quite a distance from Bagan

Bangkok, Bangkok always wins as far as I can see.

Because those days we have mighty inflation of pictures everybody takes and nobody wants to see past first 20 shown, I'm very disciplined and allow myself no more than 10 pictures a day when I travel. Even those are usually cropped at home to some like 7 a day. When I show them to friends , before they got bored whole set is already depleted so never have those funny looks when asking if they want to see my pictures. So yes , when z909 asked his original question and suggested ' nothing' among other options, I'm close. If I force myself to take a picture it's scenery or ruins, very , very rarely people and never my boys, dressed or not. Now I wonder if I'm pervert or what?
