Day 11 Time to return to BKK although no harm would be done if I cancelled my reservation at Nantra and extended stay by day or two but I decided to stick to the plan. Packed fast and shortly after world saw me walking toward Jomtien bath bus stop as this time I decided to return by Jomtien airport bus instead of my usual Ekkamai one from North Bus Station. On the vehicle one good hearted farang noticing that I’m watching route closely while holding luggage ( I’m not that familiar with Jomtien) told me that he will alight at the same stop so I can just follow him stop “because you don’t want to miss your flight”. When I told him I’m just going to BKK using airport bus he was surprised declaring that in many trips he never thought about such a great idea. My luck continued when it turned I purchased last ticket for 11 a.m. bus departing in few minutes. 120 baht and exactly 90 minutes later I alighted at Swampy to a thrill of feeling like I arrived in Thailand again – an additional bonus of using airport bus. Usually we don’t spent much time in the airport but this time in no rush to catch flight or go to the hotel after long flight I wandered a bit surveying shops in the lowest level and having lunch of coconut soup with rice there. Train to Phaya Thai and BTS to Silom , road well travelled for 45+28 baht and after a week I’m back. What is also back is rain , while Pattaya was dry area , Bangkok did not forget that it’s rainy season. There were no hangers in the room so went down to reception to ask for some but always self-sufficient I went to market in soi 3 across and bought 10 of those for 40 baht , my gift to the Nantra. Then had that enlightening moment and decided to go to Senso, along with Arena and Bangkok Massage soi Twilight place I visit every trip. While some are complaining(rightly) about their high prices I never been disappointed there and was hoping my favorite Jack will be there. What is funny and I never know why, after so many visits to all kinds of bars and massage places in Thailand both Arena and Senso are still places when I get some thrill and goose bumps when approaching and I like that feeling. I'm urban person and always was ( my first 21 years I was living on the main square of city I was born in) and I love Bangkok, perhaps more than any other city I have been and not only because ubiquitous eye candy. Spending vacations in a big city is my idea of fun , while other are frying on the beaches I like to pound the streets but even me, free spender on vacations ( I'm very low maintenance at home so must splurge from time to time for mental sanity ) see that Bangkok is becoming an expensive proposal compared to Pattaya. Still can live with that but recently simply I had better luck with Pattaya boys hence more vacation days allotted to Pattaya and an extension. I think splitting 50/50 may be my plan for a future. This trip another factor kicked in - all days in Pattaya were dry and sunny while Bangkok had expected rains , on two occasion very heavy ones. But joy of Thai rains is that they never last long so it's easy to outwait them by parking oneself over the meal or beside the boy. What sex drive you are talking about ? At Dusit turned inland to Dolphin andNaklua Rd and marchedall the way to Sanctuary of Truth . Last time I visited place back in 2015. Did not go in but returned to Dolphin circle and kept marching along Second Rd stopping here and there. Had fish massage in a store close to Central Festival Mall and repaired my cracked heels by forcing myself to do pedicure for first time ever. Certainly Pattaya class is seeping into my head. Visited Night Market nearby to buy another multipocketed shorts. Wandering about the market I spotted very interesting stand selling wall clocks, very fancy ones, one of the kind type. Did not ask for price and don’t expect them to be cheap but certainly having device like that on the wall would be talk of family and friends, Now , typing this I think it was mistake not to buy one. Another reason to visit Pattaya in the future. Finally arrived to BT but stopped in the hotel just to freshen up and then set off for Pratamnak Hill, This is my 7th visit in PTT and never been there so decided it’s long overdue. Great vistas from Big Buddha and even greater from other side where admiral statue is. Pretty big crowds there due to several tour buses parked on the pass disgorging hundreds of noisy Chinese visitors. Down to Walking str and walk toward hotel with dinner stop at Alt Heidelberg again. It was darkening already when I returned to the soi to take well deserved shower and shave for my last Pattaya night. As every day parked myself at Oscar to have some beer with boys and distribute some tips as token of appreciation for fun I had there daily. Soon williewillie showed up with his farang friend and few patrons who were daily visitors just like me. Oscars provides perfect vantage point for BBB boys coming for work and in meantime exercising in front of the bar. And who it was? Art and super handsome Cambodian I spotted another day.
