Is NatureBoy dead?
Havent been to Super A for a few years but the oldies were still there and still not got the message that there's no need to sit in your pocket when you have selected a lad. Met my true "love" there years ago and happily kept his family farm in Isaan from going to ruin and their buffalo herd from dying out - but it was so worth it at the time - Bo - sweet memories - meet him a couple of times in recent years - works massage near Saladaeng

New open-air bar with boys
Its more a smallish indoor bar with a few seats outside for smokers - bar decorated with lots of Japanese keepsakes - some regular boys but quite a few come and go so dont expect a lad on Facebook pic to be there - 180 thb for for drinking company for an hour - the hour can be loosely interpreted!!! Large Chang 95 thb - basic drinks dont expect cocktails - Food is more along the lines of snacks - fries, fried chicken skin. Bar mostly patronised by local gay folk but few times i have been everyone friendly and lads are very friendly. My first visit there i left exhausted such was the company 😃 unsure if boys are offable - got the impression private arrangement if lad is wiling - One thing i liked was fully itemised machine printed checkbin at the end of the night. Bar is located in a soi with karaoke shops and massage - 7/11 at the end of the soi - Worth a visit if in town Soi 6 in the night bazaar very quiet now - low season - one night this week one of the bars had 3 customers and 13 boys - the Kalare night market site is closed awaiting demolition. Orion , Charm , Ram still open. Connections Bar moved to new location Chang Klan

Adam's Apple Club
I was at Adam Apple Friday night to help celebrate their 35th Anniversary - being a regular there over the past 8 years and knowing most of the boys i would dispute the statement that most of the boys are offenders. There have been miscreants over the years true - one i know peddling drugs , another vehicle theft . Its a fact the boys know each other past and present

Maekampong village
If you go to Mae Khomphong another attraction in the same area is The Giant - a coffee shop / restaurant built on the side of a hill around a massive tree - spectacular views

RiP Joe
It is with sadness that i relay the news of Joe's passing. From England originally but long term resident of Chiang Mai Joe was renowed for his dance moves, quick wit and bucket hats. A regular at Connections Bar, CM 19 and a frequent visitor to Jomtien. RiP

Chiang Mai post floods
The big clean up is on at the moment - some house owners are facing tremendous challenges to get rid of mud and now dust from their dwellings - condo residents also affected Parts of the town that were flooded have streets piled with water damaged furniture, bedding, electrical gear and black plastic bags filled with whatever. This debris is slowy being cleared but there is tons of it. The old town surrounded by the moa.t was largely unaffected but areas near the river suffered badly - Warorot market and the produce market Muang Mai Soi 6 in the night bazaar where Orion , Connections and Ram bars are located was inundated - the first 2 bars i know have reopened. Adams Apple and New Circle Clubs were not affected.

Anyone doing Chiang mai
Its distressing to see footage of the flooding north of Chiang Mai - towns like Thaton, Fang, Chiang Rai, Mae Sai - dirty brown water floods places you would never expect to see threatened by water. The beautiful Blue Temple in Chiang Rai surrounded by metre deep water- and sadly there have been fatalities. Chiang Mai itself although rained upon for several days has so far escaped any serious flooding and today has been relatively rain free. For visitors Chiang Mai old town is great for walking and exploring - innumerable innovative coffee shops, great street food and restaurants- markets- temples - massage shops The gay scene is not as it used to be - not as expansive or vibrant but places like Adams Apple,New Circle Club,Orion Bar, Connections Bar, Ram Bar keep the flame burning - all have Facebook sites. Chiang Mai venues have mainly lads from Myanmar - the Shan State in particular with ethnic backgrounds of Tai Yai and Lisu. Dark skinned? Well I guess they are compared to Moonlight models - and if they are outside working construction dark as you like. come visit

Planning to be in Chiang Mai for 1 week - advice appreciated!
Visitors to Chiang Mai might like to try New Circle Club Chiang Mai - its in the Chang Phuek area not too far from Adams Apple and a short ride from the old town - there is a Facebook page with photos of available lads. Also there are lads at both Orion and Connections bars in Soi 6 of the Night Bazaar - same soi as Ram Bar. Services negotiable at both bars.

A few days in Bangkok
Last week had four days in Bangkok - stayed at Tarntawan - deluxe room was okay but myself being older getting in and out of the tub/shower needed caution - no useful rails. I ventured for old.time sake to Super A on the first night for an hour. About 8 lads there all wearing white shirts. Looked like reasonably new settees along the wall with several tables. Super A gone upmarket ?? A different vibe from 5 or so.years ago although the upstairs room stil available and the annoying habit of the mamasans sittng closeby remains.Off fee 500 thb. Drinks 200 thb. Moved on to Freshboys - saw some of the show, Nice boys dressed in white shorts. A tall lean Viet lad who does the shows always takes my interest No 28. I find the shows there entertaining and varied - lots of nakedness and action. But the frequent requests for a drink or tip from others even when you have a lad sitting.with you becomes wearing. The cabaret diva dressed in red was spectacular. 400 thb drinks After that i went to a very crowded GoodBoys ( exScrewboys).20+ plus lads dressed in white briefs. My fancy was taken by short slim moustached tattooed lad who was great company. The shows there seems to be cabaret focussed with a few intermittent boy (?) acts - i get the impression these acts are part of a circuit troupe. I returned the next night and the place was about one third full Sadly I succumbed to Bangkok belly next day and all fun activities ceased Photos of work at Raya Hotel - and the old Soi - and added.extras at Tarntawan

Naming and shaming: Jack from Circle Pub in Chiang Mai
Having visited Circle several times and knowing the boss well, I know she would be dismayed by the actions of this new employee. Of note in the original post was the promptness at which the customers complaint was resolved. Sadly some employees at these establishments dont think beyond the here and now.
