You are a generous man with a 100 baht for a few seconds of groping. The boys are happy doing that for as low as 20-40 too. A gin and tonic is 170 baht, recently up from 160. Boydrinks are 200, recently up from 180.

If you don't trust Michelin about restaurant quality I don't think you should trust other guides too.

Winner Boys in Sunee Plaza opening February 18th
hanan replied to williewillie's topic in Gay Pattaya
I visit about 3 times a week and they usually have about 10 boys, and most of them handsome imho and fun and flirty. Except for the towels they have some nights I think it is a great bar. Drink prices are 99 baht for most of the alcohol drinks. Boydrink is 130. -
What's with theese signs at both entrances to the area always before called Jomtien complex now proclaiming the area as "Supertown - Jomtien walking street"? They've been up already for about 6 months (?) but I still never seen or heard anyone referring to the area as Supertown... Is it some kind of PR-stunt to lure unsuspecting straights in to the area and spend money in the restaurants and bars?

Winner Boys in Sunee Plaza opening February 18th

Couldnt agree more with you z909. But only a few brave boys at rare occasions are naked under the towels in Winner boys. So the only thing theese towels over the underwear do is to hide shape/size of what customers want to see. -
Winner Boys in Sunee Plaza opening February 18th

I for one think it was a mistake of the bar to have abandoned the clothing policy they had in the beginning with the boys wearing cute ties or bowties in the same color. And replaced that with, imho, awful unsexy towels wrapped around their waist. Doesn't look good at all on the boys. -
I went there a couple of nights ago to check it out for the first time. I went with some boys. Discos are usually not my thing and this was the same as all the others. Prices surprisingly more cheap then in Tam nan. The place was packed with people. The percentage of gay boys seemed much lower then in Tam nan where in my visits earlier almost all boys looked gay. Here many manly boys with groups of ladies. Two other farangs in company with ladies.

Thanks for nice report. I've never been there. Why? Im a bit scared about the crime rate in this country. And not speaking portugese and not knowing how the scene there works makes me more reluctant to go there. Can you please recommend some website with newbie info on where to stay/go etc?

Same for me. Since Jojo left for Prisma I haven't seen any mamasan in Powerboys and unsure they even have one now. Otherwise usually in this bar the mamasans are very pushy. The tomboy you are referring to was Jim but she hasn't been mamasan there for years now.

It is behind Rompho complex, next to the big barbeque restaurant.
-
They've raised their happy hour prices 33% now and shortened it to 21:00.
-
That is still correct. And except for muscle hunks, 1000 is normal and almost always accepted for ST. The exception is BBB bar which is more expensive, but Im sure you can get reasonable prices there too if you negotiate with the boy and not involve mamasan/waiters.

The Family Marts were closed too on the 26th of October in Pattaya

It was not long since i saw the boy in the bar who has 23 in the photos. I think he still works there but obviously a very popular boy and i think he gets offed pretty much daily.
-
Looks like its a police raid on this bar right now. Policecar outside with flashing lights and some kind of activity inside.
-
They have raised their prices to 180 baht for an alcohol drink for the customer and 190 baht for boydrink. The most expensive bar in the Suneearea. Low numbers of boys every time I've looked inside during the last months.
-
Both Winner boys and Nice boys were absolutely awesome tonight, packed with happy boys and customers. And the beerbar Euroboys had 14 boys!
-
Thanks for report vinapu. How much did you pay for your drink there?
-
Last night staff outside with signs "Show 10:30 & 00:00".
-
It has been closed the last two nights. One staff told me closed forever, but I guess you can never be sure.
-
Couldn't agree more with you. And the place has been packed with boys and customers every night I visited the last weeks. Very popular bar that really has understood the fact that customers that are entertained and have fun will return and spend more.
-
This is a popular beerbar with plenty of boys. Last months they've had about 10-11 boys available every evening when I've visited. Many times this bar have larger number of boys than the gogobars in Sunee. For a beer bar in Sunee they seem to have an ok number of customers.
-
Had a quick look inside again. Customer drinks are 200 baht. It isn't a showbar anymore just agogo according to what staff told me. Number of boys same as my last visit, about 8, shirtless in jeans.
-
No need to book. Buses departure every hour at only about 130 baht. Plenty of taxis but they want 1100-1500 baht.
-
I didn't make it further either. I went inside a couple of days ago, sleepy boys arose from the sofas, all shirtless in jeans. Under 10 of them. Unlike before they did not have any signs outside about show and the staff only said "agogo boy agogo boy!" so I think there was no show anymore. Remembering from before that drink price was 250 baht I made my exit immidietly, because I saw nothing that would justify paying that. Anyone know if drinks are still 250 and if they have shows or not? Since I did not bother asking the staff, remembering from the past that answers I got from them then about what time show starts were not true.
