Having sampled both the Singaporean and Thai (khao man gai) versions many times, I much prefer the Singaporean version. Just something about how they prepare the chicken and the rice that makes it tastier, I can't put my finger on it. One of my favourite foods actually.

I contacted this place some years ago asking what their joiner policy was and they informed me that there would be an extra fee of 800 THB per night. So I decided not to. Zing resort in the complex is decent, relatively cheap, visitor friendly and has a pool (which I haven't used).

Having stayed in both Pattaya and Jomtien on my previous trip, I found that I much preferred to stay in Jomtien. Whilst the go-go bars are in Pattaya, it is an easy commute from Jomtien, and I find Jomtien much more relaxed. Spending the day at the gay beach in Jomtien was pleasant (with lovely eye candy beach attendants), however Pattaya doesn't have something similar. My next trip I will probably base myself on Jomtien and travel to Pattaya when required.

Good advice. And the same when going to a bar. Douche before going out so you are ready to go when you get back. However in some circumstances where I have prepared before going out, only to top the guy later and then my preparation goes to waste haha

Hmm this is good to know (regarding using tap water/bum gun).. which brings me to my next question - how to use it in that way? Just press the trigger until the water goes inside you??

I was going to chime in with this, but you beat me to it. Totally agree, which is why I use bottled water. I think I read an article a while back about a guy who used tap water to douche in perhaps a South American country (?) and ended up with a parasite. or something like that. Ah the life of a bottom.

This is why I'm pretty much celibate until I go to Thailand (or other asian countries).

Sophia's is great! This is crispy pork with kale. As it is open air, smoking is also allowed (if you are that way inclined). And even better, it is situated in front of Burirom Massage so you can 'study' the guys working there.
