  1. For some people, too big is also a no.
  2. As with any crowdsource and unregulated business that is booming, when they threatened existing industry, they are bound to be challenged by authority and forced to make changes. We see similar things with airbnb fight with hotels and craigslist.
  3. A quick google on intradermal injection for covid-19 vaccine does shows quite a number of studies claiming similar effectiveness with less amount of vaccine. For countries that does have limited supply, this might be worth the risk to investigate
  4. Yes, although the move is not due to sinking city, but rather the City center is getting crowded with uncontrolled traffic. Putrajaya does have its own mall, housings, schools etc just like any other city and its only 20km away, and is situated in between KL and the airport. Majority of the population are government workers, but there are housings that can be purchased by general population albeit at a higher price. I personally think the move to putrajaya was well thought out. Indonesia announced the plan to move their administration to Balikpapan on the Borneo Island. Its a city that is mostly driven by oil and gas, similar to Malaysia's Miri in Sarawak. Itll be interesting to see how it will pan out. I had the opportunity to visit Napiydaw once, but didnt manage to tour the area as it was a work visit. Basically fly from yangon in the morning, meeting at one of the hotel, and back to yangon in the evening. But that city is like a ghost town, with oversized everything. Not a good sight when the rest of the country are suffering. Cant say im suprised though. Would be interesting to see if thailand would be planning similar transistion though.
  5. Yup, cant argue with that biceps lol
  6. I think the key word here is not been cleared by customs, which points to duty and tax evasion?
  7. The many twink lovers here?
  8. Interesring to see how the death risk vs age are linear in log scale. Similarly, seems like vaccine reduced the risk by the same amount regardless of age. Malaysia also released the data of infected health care workers that are fully vaccinated. Out of 250k HCW, 7.5k have been infected, thus 3.05% of them have been infected despite constant exposure to the virus. Very impressive indeed. And out of those, only 17 require hospitalization (category 3-5) and 2 death. Most if not all HCW received 2 doses of Pfizer vaccine.
  9. I do one thai guy i know who has onlyfans, and several others thai guys are actively producing onlyfans contents and promoting it through their social media. So to answer the OP, yes, there is some that transition towards online platform. As to why people like it, its basically porn. Voyeurism, ability to ask performer to do what u want etc. For me, i am tempted, especially if the boys are those i already know. It is an alternative to actually meeting them as we all know its not possible. Having said that, like u also mentioned, free porn are everywhere, so if u pay for subscription etc, its just another way to show your support to the performers.
  10. I really hope thailand will manage to expedite their vaccination orders as thats the only way to reduce death and hospitalization. Cases might still be high due to delta variant but majority of the vaccinated patient are having little to none of the symptoms. So far, they have been slow but seems like few members have been able to get vaccines recently. Cases per population wise, malaysia is worse than thailand now, as we oy have 32 mil population and having similar cases daily with higher detah count. We are doing ok with vaccines though. Its a matter of time now as we are at 30%+ fully vaccinated of the population and averaging 400-500k daily doses.
  11. I guess ill have to try the next time im in thailand, whenever thatll be, to open one. Singapore also not a bad place to have a bank account.
  12. Just to add as comparison, malaysia's bank saving protection is rm250k or 42.7k pounds per bank, doubles that for insurance policy. Spreading money to other banks is one way. Overseas bank provide better diversity but through my little research, as most bank would require either residency or work permit to open. Another way is through investment but usually there is no gov guarantee for investment.
  13. Another interesting data to see is the rank vs sports expenditure per capita, to put it in perspective. But i dont think this data is easily accessible like gdp though, but it would be nice to see.
  14. If hotel closed, airbnb will flourish without competition.
  15. Hopefully the friends you are meeting is also vaccinated as we can still catch the virus and spread it. Malaysia had just announced relaxation for those who have received two vaccine for at least 14 days. They further refined the relaxation by states status. Basically for states with high cases and hospitalization as well as lower vaccination rate, many of the relaxation does not apply. Some of the relaxation are dine-in, crossing district, long distance spouses and long distance parents-child below 18.
  16. Perhaps its being repurposed due to covid closure?
  17. They even allow spectators the last few days of the olympics. I saw kids attending the Izu Velodrome during cycling track event where malaysia won silver for kierin
  18. Not the summer olympic but just had to share this. 7b2bfef33d00f5482609977a467aa2d8.mp4
  19. If we were to only include sports that make sense these days, really, what sports will survive? I guess shooting will, but archery wont. Running and walking will, high jump and pole vault wont. Football is just 20 guys chasing one ball, and 2 guys guarding the post, fencing is really medieval, and i could go on and on. I agree that sports that did not have majority of the countries playing them should not be in the olympic. The olympic spirits is to bring people together, so sports like baseball with only 6 countries participating is weird to say the least. A quick google says at least 18 nations have taken part throughout the few times it has been in the olympic. Still a low number. One sports that malaysian has been hoping to be featured was squash, of course for a simple reason that we have a great team here lol.
  20. Then why do they expect other countries to include such information on the vaccine certificate if they dont do that themselves? Just a point to ponder hehe
  21. Interesting to know this. My vaccine cert does have my full name and ID lol. But still lack passport number. Foreigners here will definitely have their passport number in the vaccine cert as they are using their passport number as their ID. I wonder how thailand vaccine certificate looks like. Hopefully it does have passport number in it for their locals.
  22. Glad to hear thailand will accept vaccine certs without passport number. Do u know if a digital certification has been accepted as well? It does say here that if the authority cant verify its authenticity, it might not be accepted. Most vaccine certificate will have some identification details, like a national ID, and your passport will have these ID number too.
