Can't wait to check out Atlas on my November trip. And probably will also have a look at the new Tawan, just to know how it is now. That's how I like it. I was looking to book The Rabbit Resort because some forum members recommended it and it looks very good. Located directly at the gay beach, walking distance from Jomtien complex and the resort set up is nice. The pictures really look like you're staying inside a tropical garden. But I found out the good old Agate is around 1/3rd from the price of Rabbit Resort, so I decided to stick to my old habit and book Agate again. If the price difference would have been smaller, I probably would have booked Rabbit to try something new this time. But I'm Dutch and we are known for being "cheap Charlies". LOL Agate's own website did not show any availability during November. But by sending an e-mail directly to the hotel I could still make a reservation. Same experience. They reply quick and are very clear in their answers.

In my opinion: Jomtien is twink heaven. All the bars have twinks. There's not much variety in boys-types there. As I prefer a more toned body, I like hunks more. So in Pattaya I normally get more lucky in and around Boyztown. But need to be said: when looking good, one can find a rare hunk in Jomtien also. By the way it took me some time when I started on this forum to understand what everybody meant when talking about twinks and hunks. Planning a trip to Bangkok and Pattaya again in November. Stayed a few times in Agate hotel. Good quality rooms and bed, location can't be better and always got a good price directly via the hotel website. Also important: never a problem taking "a friend" to your room. They can even walk in on their own coming to your room without you having to get him from downstairs. But this time I might to choose to stay somewhere else. As I would like to have a bit more relaxing time at a pool. I know Agata has two pools, but somehow these pools don't really are inviting for me to spent some hours relaxing. I took me some time to understand the "not for fun" part. In my country it means you're not looking for sex, only for friends or chat. While the Thai boys actually mean "not for free" when they write "not for fun"...

TRIP REPORT: LAST DAYS IN BANGKOK Friday was Loy Krathong. Just after sunset I went to Lumphini Park to watch the floating candle-lit krathongs in the water there. Was nice moment to catch. Earlier in this trip report I shortly already wrote about my time in China. About boys it was not very eventful. Besides a nice massageboy in Beijing.
