  1. This reminds me of the stories about the piles of used towels in the hallways of the Meridien Hotel, where posh gays were having orgies in their rooms and using a lot of towels while enjoying themselves.
  2. Great reports! Thanks.
  3. The pool does indeed look good. As a nice place to chill in the afternoon, in between adventures and nightlife. But I don't see any parasols in any of the photos I've seen of this hotel. Does this mean the only option you have is to lie by the pool in full sun? I would really like some shade.
  4. Good to read the restaurant will be open again when I visit Bangkok last week October / into November.
  5. Judging by the photos on booking platforms, the cheaper rooms have no windows and a shower that makes the entire toilet soaking wet when used. I consider that to be a definite disadvantage. The more expensive rooms look much better (large window, spacious bathroom with a separate shower, and even a bathtub). However, the price of that room is the same as what we find in many hotels in the area. I am curious to hear your findings on whether there is indeed a good reason to book this hotel, besides the fact that it is new and shiny.
  6. Are you traying out all new hotels in the area? Nice! I personally love new hotels. But nowadays, unfortunately, it is often the case that while everything looks very beautiful and modern, there are still major downsides. Such as virtually no sound insulation between the rooms or between the room and the hallway. Or certain designs that are not practical. Like the fact that when you take a shower, the entire toilet gets wet. I am curious to read your experiences in the new hotels alongside the photos.
  7. Always nice to see a good erection...
  8. Only in December? Reading about all the times you have a (quick) visit to Bangkok I would expect you to return earlier than December...
  9. How a lovely thread about a love story between a farang and an Asian boy can once again escalate into a sensitive political discussion...
  10. This is the first time I've heard of this massage shop. It's nice that they clearly show on their website which staff are straight and gay. I assume that the massage prices on their website are for the room and the amounts listed per guy are the extra tip for the guy, and that this includes extra service, given the size of the tips?
  11. I am a bit behind on catching up with this forum, and am only just reading your reports now. I would read a few more of your reports right away, though. Thanks for writing the massage reports described in such detail. I really appreciate that!
  12. It was very entertaining reading all the posts about your trip. I especially like it when people include some photos in their trip reports, like you did. Good job! The funny thing was that I recognized many things in your posts from my previous trip. Your experiences at A&P in Phnom Penh, your stay at Quarter Silom, some restaurants I've been to too, etc., etc., etc. I, too, was lucky enough to meet fellow forum members in person a few times on my previous trips. Although I don't mind exploring Bangkok and the nightlife on my own, I always really enjoy doing that with fellow forum members.
  13. In another topic I've read: Never heard of JoyZone. Is this a new place? Any more information about it?
  14. Good choice! I have stayed at this hotel a few times and can only confirm what you describe. The beds are super comfortable and the staff is very hospitable (on every level... haha). It is indeed a place where you can easily relax by the pool all day. Nude swimming is even allowed there if you wish. If you ever go back, I can recommend taking a tour to the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (in old prison) and the Killing Fields. You can also book this via the hotel by Tuk-Tuk. Not exactly a fun outing, but a must-do because of how impressive it is and the stories you hear there about the history of the country. I really don't understand how you can say that about the breakfast at Arthur & Paul. How much do you want to eat for breakfast, for heaven's sake? You get a fresh croissant, a chocolate roll, another roll, an egg of your choice (like the famous Egg Benedict), various toppings, yogurt, tea or coffee, juice... More than enough!
  15. Good to read you finally made it back to Bangkok! Enjoy your time there! I will be going back to Thailand last weekend October / and into November.
  16. That would be great news and nice addition to the complex. Always nice to see something different in that area that more of the same "farang sit farang drink" (as you call it..!) places.
  17. Where did you find this information? My internet search only gets: The exact date for the royal cremation of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother has not yet been formally set, but it is expected to take place in late 2026 following the completion of the Royal Crematorium at Sanam Luang in Bangkok. Construction of the temporary Royal Crematorium at Sanam Luang began following the foundation layout marker ceremony on February 23, 2026. Physical construction and structural works are on track to be fully completed by October 31, 2026. The official cremation date will be formally submitted for royal approval and announced by the Bureau of the Royal Household only after construction of the crematorium complex is finished. So; reading this I make the assumption that no date for the service can been set yet, as they will only announce it after the crematorium is finished which will be October 31... Right?
  18. You really put in the effort to inform us on the forum with those interviews! Unfortunately, I was disappointed to read that the runner-up's massage doesn't offer any "extras" in terms of options....
  19. And some other things I’ve seen passing by on social media lately: Are the go-go shows in Gass naked now sometimes too? Because it says here that after 1 AM it’s a named show and no photos allowed after 1 AM... Sounds interesting. Has anyone experienced this yet? And in Eau de Toilette (EDT) it is now possible to get a private show in a private room. Sounds very exciting too. I’m curious about the details.
  20. Because I haven't been on the forum for a while, this is a bit old news. But because it provides a glimpse into how the place was run, I think it is still interesting for the forum: Side was actually only open for a short time before closing again. I went there once and actually enjoyed myself quite a bit. Because it was possible to get horny with their "models" in a low-threshold way. Not in a sauna setting, but just clothed. You have a drink, walk around cruising a bit. And you could go into a dark room where you (in my case) were sometimes the only one inside together with the model. And she was very willing when I was there. But anyway... Side had a short life. And if I am to believe the "juice" I came across on the Instagram profile of one of their employees when it closed, that is partly because it was poorly run. Below are screenshots translated from Thai thanks to Google Translate. So apparently it is about the owner / manager who consistently starts work late and essentially leaves the work and responsibility to others. By now, "Hook Up BKK" is located at Side's location. I don't think I've seen much about that here on the forum yet. So if anyone knows more firsthand, I'm curious. But from what I see on their socials, it really is a sauna now. There were already quite enough of those, weren't there? I actually liked that Side did things a little differently.
  21. I also always thought that hotel staff couldn't be bothered and wouldn't bat an eye at whether or how many guys you bring along. Apparently, they do notice it. For Quarter Silom, the golden tip is to ask for a room in the annex building when booking. It has a separate entrance, so you don't have to go through or past the reception/main entrance with your guys. A bit more discreet.
  22. You are completely right. But... I do like spending some days at the beach just relaxing. That's what Pattaya is good for, and the occasionally available hunk off course. You only need one to have a good time, so that must be possible even in Pattaya! LOL The runner up in the sexy boy competition looks like he could be my type...
  23. It was very nice to read about the pride event in your posts, including the pictures and clips. But... are you now turning in some kind of pimp that forum members can contact to get in touch with hot boys? hahaha. LOL If so, I will be adding Pattaya to my trip itinerary again and ask you for hot boys to entertain me.
  24. Anybody also thinking about being in Bangkok in November? I'm looking at ticket prices at looks oke. So I'm very tempted to book...
  25. After not having been on this forum for a while, I'm catching up a bit. Nice to read your reports again. It immediately gets the urge bubbling inside me again; I want to go back to Bangkok too!
