  1. So should I not wear clean clothes if I visit Bar Fama?
  2. We all know better than to take the varied medical advice that posters love giving, so my statement that rimming is safe and fun should be taken with a grain of salt. Never rim with salt on either end. That's good advice too, but don't follow it, follow your doctor's advice. My doctor once told me that rimming was God's gift to gay men! He did! Should this guy do it? It sure looks clean!
  3. You said that getting on the maling list gave you pix of males, so it is a maling list, no? It could have been a mailing list, but that would not have been any fun!
  4. Lining up? For a client? Hmm, I thought they only did that for me!
  5. Maling lists seem appropriate for a gay site.
  6. The LA Times today selected 22-year old Noah Centineo as "this summer's new teen heartthrob." The actor will star in 2 summer movies. On August 17th, the movie "To All The Boys I Have Loved Before" debuts. Far as I can tell, it is not a gay love story. Girls do fall in love with boys after all. Then on September 7th we get "Sierra Burgess Is Not A Loser." (Although the film may be!) Mr. Centineo is pictured below (on the right.) 7. The NY Times today reports on the new Blu-Ray DVD of the film Buddies, first shown at the Castro Theater in San Francisco in 1985. Its director, Arthur J. Bressan, Jr., made the film without knowing that he had the AIDS virus. He died in July, 1987. The film has two actors, Geoff Edholm, 32 at the time, played a gay man dying of AIDS. David Schacter played a 25-year old volunteer who became a buddy to Edholm's character. Edholm died of AIDS in 1989. Although I lived in San Francisco throughout the horrific days of the AIDS crisis, I did not see the movie. It never came out on video, and, as the times article points out, few wanted to go from caring for people with AIDS to seeing a movie about it. I hope that I never forget those days. The community was closer than it has ever been. 8. FUM is not allowed under new internet laws restricting content. That aside, I think you have the wrong idea of what this site is for.
  9. How long will you be there?
  10. I did not expect this thread on Larstrup's claim to being investigated to take on such a life as it has. I hope that his situation has calmed and that he is doing well.
  11. Today I learned that the NY Times had to stop printing an Asian edition in Thailand due to frequent censorship problems.
  12. Handsome Backstreet Boy Nick Carter would seemingly have his choice of sexy women, but Los Angeles prosecutors are reviewing allegations that he forced himself on a young woman after giving her "shots" of alcohol. Carter allegedly unbuttoned the woman's pants and forced her into receiving oral sex. He then moved to another room, where he raped her, she says. Carter, now 38, was 18 at the time, as was the accuser, who says that until this incident she was a virgin. She waited 20 years to reveal the rape because she was afraid of Carter's influence in the music industry. The accuser is herself an actress. Carter claims the sex was consensual and is "shocked and saddened" at the accusations. http://www.nydailynews.com/news/ny-news-nick-carter-rape-case-under-review-20180802-story.html A young Nick Carter:

Right under MsGuy's cute pic there is the word "Quote" Q again.
  14. Suckrates was looking forward to it. I hope that he liked it.
  15. Things continue to look tough in Brazil as the Wall Street Journal reports on the high numbers of citizens there who would readily leave the country if they could: https://www.wsj.com/articles/im-totally-freaked-out-brazilians-weigh-a-farewell-to-paradise-1533211200?mod=hp_listc_pos2

    Q

The letter Q seems to have taken on a mysterious (ominous?) tinge as Trump supporters have readily adapted it to show, well, to show what? But I think we are supposed to be concerned. https://nypost.com/2018/08/01/how-q-became-the-biggest-conspiracy-theory-at-trump-rallies/ https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/morning-mix/wp/2018/08/01/we-are-q-a-deranged-conspiracy-cult-leaps-from-the-internet-to-the-crowd-at-trumps-maga-tour/?utm_term=.5dde96e5ed7f https://www.nytimes.com/2018/08/01/us/politics/what-is-qanon.html
  17. What an infuriating website. Two pop-ups while reading the short article, which mentions all of one hotel closing. Then I get a notice that I have only one free article left, probably because while I was reading the first they switched mid-stream to another unrelated article.
  18. President Trump today announced that henceforth all internet posters will need a picture ID to post on the web. He pointed out that he has always used one when posting, but declined to reveal his screen name. "It's the best screen name ever, and if I reveal it, others might try to use it on sites of which I don't approve, such as peeonthebed.com" Democrats claim that Trump has such a short attention span, he would be limited to sites such as Twitter. Representatives for the internet declined to comment, but rumors were abundant on suggestions for sites which Trump would like.
  19. That's pretty much true anywhere!
  20. Thanks for the info on downloading Google Translate. I didn't know that.
  21. Thanks for the info too!
  22. Things were slow, but they now seem to be picking up, and RockHardNYC is one of the reasons. We have new posters as well, and perhaps a renewed interest from existing posters. I thank Oz for that as he has clearly set out what he wants the forum to be and how he wants its members to relate to each other. We're friends, at least here! :
  23. When I first got my Ipad, I signed up for international cellular access. It was pretty spotty and sometimes didn't work at all. Then I discovered or realized that if there was wi-fi, I didn't need cellular coverage on my Ipad. I want to use it for Google Translate. Do the saunas have wi-fi? If not, do you then use your phone for Google Translate? I don't have an international plan on my cell phone, but heard that it can be obtained for $10 a day, which seems high. In Thailand once I bought a cheap cell phone and used that for Thai calls. They either didn't have Google Translate then or the phone was not a smart phone.
  24. Okay, I will install it and hope for the best.
  25. Someone must feel there is a void since a certain snarkie is not posting. No need to take his place Rock hard.
