JD, when I started the Palm Springs event, it was specifically for posters on this and the other site. It was meant to be a closed event, thus I would not have allowed guests who were not posters here. As far as I know, that's still the case.

Just for the record, the Palm Springs Weekend was designed for the people who post here and at the other site. It was meant to give folks a safe place to meet and enjoy each other should that be what they wanted. It became clear early on that some folks wanted to bring their escort, and that was fine. Then we had the phenomenon of escorts coming on their own. They just wanted to be there, to get to know the posters. They paid their own way. Over time, the presence of escorts helped make the party a bigger success. All were happy, and I wish that they would stay happy Oliver, at the other site, is already arranging this year's weekend, which is shaping up quite well.!

Circumcised men may soon be able to regrow their foreskin

A first post! Welcome to the forums! -
When I posted this, I predicted some response would be like the lovable Larstrup's. Let's face it, the forums have not been very exciting lately. It's either the very healthy Latin forum, or attacks in the threads about JD Daniels. We're supposed to discuss the topic and not attack the poster. That's all my original post contemplated. Ford never actually said to New York "Drop Dead" but that was the gist of his comment. He showed no real interest in the city's welfare, just as the Pope has shown in recent papers a similar lack of interest in gay people. ho ho ho

The Pope is not being very loving there, is he? Maybe he should read this post! Or is our task to forgive him for his mistake? Well, we can forgive him, but that doesn't mean we have to let his opinion go unchallenged.

I just finished reading Louise Penny's novel A Great Reckoning. It's received thousands of 5 star reviews at Amazon, so I picked it up. It's a good story, but not why I am posting this. It's the Christmas season, a time to be full of good will for all men. And with this quote from the novel: "We are all of us marred and scarred and imperfect. We make mistakes. We do things we deeply regret. We are tempted and sometimes we give in to that temptation. Not because we're bad or weak, but because we are human. We are a crowd of faults." Perhaps we need a reckoning of sorts in this forum. Wonder where the good will is missing, know our own humanity, and try...I do say try...to see it in our fellow posters. All of us human, mistake-making men. Me included. Merry Christmas.

SO much for :Who am I to judge?" The Vatican has released a document forbidding not only gays, but those with homosexual "tendencies" to become priests or even enter the seminary. Not that you'd want to, but it is such a sharp contrast with the previous lack of judgment. “The Church, while profoundly respecting the persons in question, cannot admit to the seminary or to holy orders those who practice homosexuality, present deep-seated homosexual tendencies or support the so-called ‘gay culture,’” the document stated. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/the-pope-just-approved-a-very-troubling-document-on-gays-and-priesthood_us_58488029e4b0d0aa037f0ff8

I didn't even know that it was possible to be upset with Daddy. Isn't he always kind, mature, considerate, and above all, loyal? He does keep his word, doesn't he. Hmm, let me try real hard to think if there was ever a time when he didn't behave with those qualities...oh, yeah, that time!

Women prefer bigger penises. Duh. Hasn't penis size been shown to be significant toward desire already? Why does everyone talk about wanting a big penis if it needs a study? Now, granted, they only want the bigger, fatter cock for one-night stands. They'll settle for a teeny bit smaller penis in their boyfriend or husband. But not a teeny one! The details, if you need them: https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2016/dec/05/women-large-penis-size-study

Persistence is so important. I would never take one doctor's diagnosis as gospel, or his plan for treatment I have seen many doctors go wrong on diagnosis. So, it's good that you are pursuing this and I truly wish you the best of luck

Do you really want an advisory here, JD? Or do you just want attention? It's hard for me to conclude, but I am going to assume that you want an answer. There will be no prosecution for rape. It's two years after the fact, for one. That's a big deal. It's apparently your word against his in court, and just from this website and Daddy's your alleged rapist can find many people who would testify to low credibility on your part. That's even if you are telling the truth. You have male sex worker accusing another male sex worker of an unwanted sexual assault. Many jurors don't believe that men can be raped, so you'd be up against that. They'd consider your size and the kind of work that you do. They'd consider all of the personal disagreements you have on these sites to show that you accuse many people of many things. What DA in his or her right mind would want to go through that? The whole situation sounds more like a domestic dispute than a rape, but, I wasn't there. Bottom line- you waited too long, your case is not strong. As others have said, life is short. Move on.

"Actually, not entirely unimaginable. More than once, when I was with black and brown friends in Harlem or Inwood or Washington Heights, and we were out on the street making noise late at night, a cop came up to us and told us to take our party inside the house. It was obvious that the presence of my little white ass as participant -- and credible witness in court -- was the thing that stopped the cop and his partner from doing a stop-and-frisk, or more." Adam Smith But don't you see, Adam, that having the white ass necessary to save minority friends just can't continue. Minorities need to be given their rights and not have to rely on white asses to come to their rescue. I know you have done lots of good working with poor youth both black and brown to keep them in school and off of drugs, but the white man is not the savior. Step aside, and you will find these folks standing up for themselves. At least that's the way it should be.

Gosh, JD, that won't make you too popular if a DA from another state comes in and puts a stop to the PS Weekend 2017! What would they arrest these people for, partying on a Sunday?

I have never considered being in Thailand for ten years. One would have to speak the language, I think. Otherwise, what's the point of being there, only surrounded by Expats. That reminds me, wasn't there once a poster here named EXPAT? I wonder what happened to him.
-
Who do they play? Do you root for Alabama only, or do cute players on other teams get your support as well? I root for another team, but it is not a football team.
-
Wait a minute! JD, you flew 2000 miles to Las Vegas and just showed up on Daddy's doorstep? Had you been invited? Had you told him that you were coming? He had to call the police on you? You don't try very hard to avoid trouble.

Oh please.

You guys can be so easy! All I have to do is bring up the topic and you get all riled up. So what if he is only 17. He's a hero, and we can talk about heroes here too,

The Greatest Dance Number Ever Filmed

Thanks, OneFinger. I am glad that you liked it. There must be a lot of old-time dancers who blew up the stage. -
Do we have to observe 30 days of silence in The General Pub to remember Florence? She wasn't the Queen after all.

I remember that a few years ago a friend had his devices, I think laptop, seized by DHS. To my knowledge, nothing came of it. But it made me aware of the problem . For years, government prosecutors have seized assets of suspected criminals without any due process of law or even arrest and conviction. They then sell many of the assets for profit- to the government. And it's all legal. Americans gladly give up their right of privacy to the extent that it hardly means anything to them anymore. Just click "I Agree" without reading what you agree to. Arbitration used to be rare, but so many businesses make agreeing to it rather than a jury and a court non-negotiable if you want to work with that business or bank or hot dog stand. Many "I Agree" clicks do exactly that.

The title refers to a Fred Astaire quote on the Nicholas Brothers performance of Stormy Weather, filmed lived around 1943. The Nicholas Brothers are new to me, so when I saw that quote I had to see if it was on YouTube, and sure enough, it is. I am the last person to proclaim a "greatest dance" about any dance, so watch it for yourself and see it it pleases you as it did me, and countless others: More on the Nicholas brothers: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nicholas_Brothers
