Why do you suppose that Anthony Rapp held on to his secret about Kevin Spacey for all these years? Why now? Does he just want to get on the bandwagon? Is it fair for him to spring that on Spacey without warning? Or is the product of a new age where all past sins are fair game? There is no evidence that Spacey has ever done such a thing since. I am not a big fan of his, but the attention this is getting seems beyond proportional. He's not a Harvey Weinstein. If he were, then I would understand this late revelation better. I hope Rapp has no one waiting to reveal some error that he made long ago...or even recently. (And I hope that it isn't necessary to say that I don't think Spacey behaved well with Rapp on this incident. He was definitely in the wrong.)

I have been to Buenos Aires twice with the hubby. We both tried guys from soytuyo. Neither was very good. They may promise the moon before they come, but then they don't cum or do much of anythiing. Strangely, at a very popular dance club, several young guys were cruising me. Dance clubs are for dancing and I found it odd to be the recipient of such attention, even though I was then in pretty good shape. I decided it was my imagination and did not pursue it. It reminded me of a time when we went to LeBoy and two guys decided we were the hottest people in Rio and wouldn't leave us alone. I think they had other agendas as there seemed to be an "overdo" in their interest. As for Buenos Aires, it has a lot to offer both in scenery and history. We ate very well there for very little money.

It's true that the definition of success can vary. It's all relative to what you are looking for. Are you content to let one person post most of the threads in the Lounge and Porn section? I like a lot of those posts, but keeping content fresh should not be the responsibility of one man. Variety is the spice of life. Why not make an effort to get other points of view? Women involved? (Nah!) I have made a lot of positive comments. This thread was about change and how we could bring more people here.

My guess is that we would spend a couple of thousand dollars on lodging and food. Then entertainment for two. Since I live in a winter tourist destination, i could rent my house out for what I need to spend in Bangkok, and pocket my income...for a few months!

I have also noticed an increase in participation. If we knew what motivated that, we could learn from it. One person dominating a forum doesn't encourage others to join in, but if there is only one person wanting to participate, well, he should. As far as success goes, the site has longevity, which is a form of success.

Well, I cared enough to give my opinion. If the bulk of the members don't care enough to even cast an opinion in a poll, you don't have much loyalty to your site. There is no getting around the fact that few people participate in the forums. They are unsuccessful by any definition.

What does it cost to live in Bangkok full-time? I have little idea. A nice apartment with A/C in a good location, near mass transit would be the highest expense, I imagine. And then?

The sad reality is that not only is the site not getting reviews, only 12 of our 30,000 members have bothered to vote in this poll. I submit that we have 12 dedicated users. The site needs to consider how to expand that number. Name change may help, but someone who knows what makes sites succeed needs to consider a revamp that will ensure a long life for Boytoy. It really doesn't matter the name of a site with 12 dedicated participants. Unsuccessful would be the de facto name.

The island hopping in Phuket is wonderful.
