  1. True. I always make the same mistake.
  2. They produce web based series, gay black borderline porn. The production is professional quality and the acting is above average. Not my thing, but I find interesting and deserving of support this Atlanta based company. I am wondering whether there is a non Black equivalent, or we have here one more case of Black culture setting a new trend that soon ill become mainstream, jus as hip hop?
  3. ‘A mecca for prostitution’? A new bill proposes decriminalizing sex work in D.C. I hope the City Counsel passes this and is able to sneak it through the Congress confirmation approval process as they did with weed legalization. It would be exciting to reside in the city competing against Las Vegas!
  4. So perhaps this is what he website needs to create some traffic. In the age of Trumpist White Supremacism, some racial controversy.
  5. I like Eminem. However, let me point out that Black and Latino rappers have been speaking up against Trump for some time now. I like Eminen, but we do not need him to lecture us on White privilege. We should have been listening to the many others before him.
  6. I found the Politics forum, thank you for letting me know about it. I see what you mean by trying to provoke participation and being left alone. So many posts with 0 comments!
  7. I wish I was able to pledge allegiance under Obama, but I couldn't. At least I did it in a DC Court, the judge was a naturalized citizen, all the speeches were celebrating an America built by immigrants, one of the speakers had been in the White House team during the 8 years of Obama. For a couple of hors it was easy to forget that we are in Trump's America.
  8. Ladies and Whores, as of today I have become officially an American citizen and registered independent voter in the District of Columbia.
  9. I do like Boytoy. It is catchy, it is already established, and describes very well a market niche, which is very helpful to develop your content and identity.
  10. I got your point. However I would expect that because those constraints in the real world, this space would be the place to share and celebrate our love for the youngins. Anyway, we are guessing and we do not have the big picture. As I pointed to in an earlier post, traffic and participation are not the same. @TotallyOz has the tools to add that piece to the analysis. Based on the data I receive about my blog's traffic, it seems there is a high traffic coming from abroad, specially South America. But still, it is not the big picture.
  11. I can tell you are in a nostalgic mood.
  12. You are still making a raw generalization. But I am not here to defend the other site and its people. My point remains. Why there is no participation here? @Suckrates makes some suggestions, but I do not think they explain anything. We all have fake identities here, who cares what others may think about our sexual preferences?
  13. Well, that is un unfair characterization of those who participate in the other site, myself included. Rather than bitching about the other site, which seems to be the topic that brings the most traffic to this site, we should be brainstorming ways to increase the participation here. @Suckrates said it pretty well. I also tried to participate here before, but it is just silent and slow. I am making an extra effort now because of people like @Larstrupand @AdamSmith, who are banned over there. I do not have another option that hanging out here to know what is going on with them. I do like the more free atmosphere here. I do like a more liberal style and politics from the administration. But it is hard to me to project those compliments to participants who do not exist. How do you know that your community is better than the other, if your community is invisible or mute? The success of the other site has nothing to do with Trump. The participants are very diverse on politics, education, intelligence, sophistication, etc. etc. etc.. But the place is alive, that diverse crowd somewhat live together and creates a thrilling community. In a world of safe places and people afraid of being contradicted looking desperately for confirmation of their ideas and feelings, that diversity is a priceless treasure. Misunderstanding the other site's success is not going to help the traffic here. So the topic should be, what should be do to bring more traffic and participation here? Perhaps opening a forum for Politics for those into it it is not such a bad idea.
  14. It sounds pretty much like the average Joe to me.
  15. I did not know Tom Lehrer. Loving him.
  16. Don't forget that many South American countries have been governed by military dictatorships until not so far ago. To speak of what I know best, in Argentina liberal democracy actually started in 1983. Police abuse is widespread against the poor and the minorities. The situation varies significantly not only from one country to other, but even inside a country, from one city to other. In Buenos Aires the standard is similar to a big American city like NYC or DC, you just substitute the Blacks by the poor. But if you move inside the country, the abuse against gays is rampant. This is even when the federal legislation is even more progressive than American laws in recognizing equal rights to LGBTQ.
  17. Very South American. It could happen in Rio, in Buenos Aires, In Bogota, anywhere. You are actually lucky if this is the first time you witness this kind of scene.
  18. Love and peace, my friends. I love and appreciate both of you, @AdamSmith and @Larstrup, I am glad I have both of you here, so I d not mss you over there.
  19. I am sorry you made that decision. I will miss you over there. I like BoyToy but things here are so slooooooooooowwww.
  20. I m a political animal but I am with you. I come here to talk about hooking up, not about politics. You are an Olympian, I am Dangling Member, you tell me why people do not participate even when talking about guys? One interesting think I did noticed, there is a lot of traffic from outside the USA, although they do not post. When I started participating here last week, I posted a few links to my blog. Two links were for DC guys, one link for a guy in Buenos Aires. I am getting a lot of hits from here to the post in my blog about the boy in Buenos Aires, not as many for the two guys in DC.
  21. I would not say they become useless. We know that in the other website there are much more restrictions than here, but it is actually up to the reviewer to find a way to be informative without breaking the rules. I do not think my reviews are completely useless, although I am happy to have my own blog to complement them.
  22. What about you, and I, and the very @AdamSmith? If you accept that your psychological health is suffering and that your participation in this forum is just another symptom of your imbalance, I am fine with the statement and I also get in the shoes of the crazies.
  23. As an additional comment about the form, I think part of the problem is that the same form used to submit a review by a client is used for a provider to submit his profile.
  24. If you are into blogging you probably know this, but spammers hide behind complimenting comments, in the hope they are going to bait you to publish them. I just got this one in my blog: "My husband and i felt now contented that Albert could conclude his investigation through your precious recommendations he acquired when using the weblog. It’s not at all simplistic to just find yourself making a gift of tips and hints the others could have been selling. So we realize we have got the website owner to be grateful to for this. The entire explanations you’ve made, the easy site navigation, the relationships you will help to engender – it’s got mostly impressive, and it is assisting our son and the family imagine that this theme is brilliant, which is certainly truly fundamental. Thank you for the whole lot!"
  25. They responded to my questions: "Hello, Jose! Thank you for your interest. Nice blog btw. We are currently gathering rentboys, so our support for renters and other new features will start working in a few months. Our team is one former Rentboy.com co-creator, one former Rentmen.com co-creator, one former escort, and one upscale gentleman investor who is a freequent user of rentboy service all over the world. The company is located in an offshore. Unfortunately we are unable to disclose the information about our real base or our real names for security reasons. We all know what happeneds if a company like ours is too open for everybody. You are not the only one who may have an idea to put our personal info on a public forum:) Some former colleagues and some athouthorities are already against us. It was more than expected. For example we can not appear on the forum you like so much because the forum is sponsored by our competitors. Everyone who will openly 100% support us will have his post deleted. However despite this we are going to make http://renboy.pro the best and the most exciting escort site ever. Hope to see you again (and again!) on our site as a renter in the future! Best regards, Rentboy.pro" I responded asking for clarification about "we can not appear on the forum you like so much because the forum is sponsored by our competitors". I have no idea what forum they are talking about. Up to my knowledge Daddy's is not sponsored by Rentmen, or this site, the only two forums I participate in.
