Colombia: full list of hot spots

Cómplices Spá in Bogotá, apparently does have massage trade, but it may be only Fridays and Sundays. I did not get to check it out. It cannot be worse an environment than Saint Moritz. -

Some time ago one of our members posted that there might be a new bathhouse brothel built, composed, or converted from a small building or site in São Paulo by entrepreneurs he knows. I cannot find the entry but I wonder what became of that, and I thought it might be related to the structure rebuilt on the New House site. Likely a reach.

@pauleiro, what is the setup for private lap dances at Boys Bar? I would have checked it out recently but was not aware. The website refers to it, but does not clarify if is only Friday Stripper Night, and of dozens of reviews no commentators refer to private dances. If not in a private area, preferably, enclosed cubicle, I would likely take a pass. I have also Messengered the owner for details. -
According to the weave of the worldwide web it is def towards the main airport from the current location

Since I last checked the Saõ Paulo scort ads, a few more recognizable gogos have branched out into that scene, including the first gogo I convinced to give me a programa on site a few years ago. What a memory! Including the strip down from military garb ... boots, camo jacket, beret and all ... in the suite. At the time I could barely fathom it.

Correction: Cine Frei is now established there at #328, I believe erotically focused.
-
I would not rule out 328 Frei Caneca, near HigMac, as it sits in the general area and was the site of Labirinttu's, closed (claimed = repossesed?) last December, and does not seem to have contained a new business since that time.

Yes, I also read that there were occasional males, yet not representative of the 1 in 20 you might expect based on gender demographics of sex workers.

Too good to be true. Nice to promote equality, but Amsterdam is already overrun with tourism.

Rainbow and the hotel on which it sits are, in fact, in Consolação. However, it has been open and advertising activities steadily, so that seems inconsistent with renovations unless the venue has operated while accommodating refurbishment. I think it is wise of RPS to keep it under wraps since community activism against brothels is not unheard of ... better for it to have left the station.

Oh, you are just steps east of the wildly popular gem Bordados Peninsulares where I bought a dozen (unembroidered) high quality caps for about $7 apiece, a small fraction of northern prices. I am always losing these things but have only misplaced 2 so far, and at that price they are essentially discardable.

For my long stay last winter, I would have on my own sampled a few places but was vetoed by my people who think it is too big a hassle to hop around. This meant, of course, our choices were reduced in high season due to availability calendar dates. Due to “their” inflexibility, the deal was that I would choose and there had better not be any whining if not optimal. All in all, a good deal for the size, and ridiculously inexpensive splitting the rental rate. Electric bill around 10 bucks total 3.5 weeks. We were content. The house was in the northwesterly quadrant not far from Santiago market and just up from the top-rated boutique lodgings The Diplomat. Nevertheless, usually walked a dozen city blocks to the true Centre, or Über for 1-2 bucks ... At your door before you could barely lock up. We often walked to dinner and planned on Über home but usually changed our minds to walk off dinner. Über was so cheap I took it to the 2 separate bus stations south/east quadrant to purchase ahead of time cheap tickets to various excursion choices. (Tom, the house 78 and 51, near the 49 bus.) Neighbours either side in non-reno’d homes. Four cock-a-doodle-doo fighters raised on one side along with a pitbull also bred for dog-fighting. Sweet older lady other side who held a spare key in case we locked ourselves out by accident. Motorcycle gang (harmless) nearby. Convenient Thunder Gym 10 minutes on foot. There was an absolutely gorgeous new B&B on the corner. Interesting mix of upscale and run-down buildings. A few meat and produce kiosks in a residential zone and an OXXO convenience. On my own could have “ho”-sted without impediments ... the “manager” seen just once, and only to bring a new toaster oven we requested following self-serve lockbox check-in. Unforeseen issues that may arise: We were lucky but you could end up nearby a very noisy gut-and-reno; they are ubiquitous and scattered throughout. For a long stay you would want to vet the neighbourhood. Who wants hours of banging and hammering while trying to chillax by the pool or sleep late, nap in a courtyard hammock, etc? Incessantly yapping dogs. Other visitors in the area complained about their otherwise tranquil setting disrupted by constant barking from adjacent yards. We had the roosters crowing noisily a lot but no canines. Poorly controlled miniature ant infestation ... swarms in your kitchen requiring complete sealing of foodstuffs. We had this annoyance but nearby locals said it was not uncommon. Our manager claimed it had been recently fumigated. We got accustomed to it, and keeping counters free of any iota of sweet stuff seemed effective. One droplet of pancake syrup would have a long lineup of these little buggers climbing up to feast.

Mind you, the place is no longer cozy because it was ripped down, the land sold, and a new (cozy? unlabelled?) 2-story structure built. Hmmmmm ... got to give the ansiosos a little something to chew on, right?
-
I am not betting the farm on it, but the now closed New House was described as “cozy” by Spartacus Guide. That location is very close to Av Paulista but technically a bit south of Consolação, in Bela Vista very close to MASP. In contrast, Rainbow is a few floors atop a hotel.

Keep receipts ... At least in the short term. I took a local to lunch and dropped him at his apartment where he was changing for the gym. I had an untouched portable size mineral water from the restaurant in my hand when I entered a nearby supermarket my lunch companion directed me to for produce. They did not have what I want. As I left, a child in a security uniform, who turned out to be the store's pint-sized guard, grabbed me by my knapsack that was over my shoulders and he dragged me quickly into a back room where he locked me in behind a grate after getting a young female employee to stay with me. My guess is that he left briefly to perhaps check out videotape. This gave me a chance to text my lunch companion to come and help me. Then while being pelted with speedily articulated Spanish my knapsack was examined. I had the restaurant receipt in there with the water itemized. After demonstrating this, all was well, I was released, and my lunch partner was on his way but able to continue instead to his gym appointment. It all happened very startlingly and rapidly.

Maybe Fri or Sat late night at Thermas. Makes sense because it’s weekend. You can see the popular time graphs by day of week on Google. If it's a Monday, forget about it. One provider there said there is an uptick of business following late-night/early-morning club partying. I doubt it is hopping, though. The guys I like seem to be checking out by 22:00 ... in fact, some of them seem to be going out clubbing, or to their otherwise real lives far more fabulous than whoring, and a good evening's worth of earnings supports that reward. At least one of them I met on my last trip does club gogo stints following a Thermas shift. Clubs (and evening meal too) get rolling quite late, as you know. It should be perfect for my circadian rhythm, but I can never seem to draw on my batteries past midnight. There is a handful of guys that seem to live in Thermas, some of them oldtimers and others visiting from Latin America on meagre budgets, adapting to getting sleep as needed in the free cabins. -

Tomcal, what flavours of Gatorade will be available?! On second thought, never mind ... since one poster here continuously and relentlessly attributes the trait of self-serving dishonesty to your friend, the revelation of softdrink choices may prompt a tailspin of speculation about whether the information is transparent and about how it meets his greedy nefarious agenda. LOL
