  1. Living in Australia I'm used to really hot weather; it's the humidity that gets me.
  2. "And as you know, when one resorts to a personal attack, it means they are losing the argument." Has Trump ever resorted to personal attacks? "I don't debase myself like you do by engaging in a childlike game...." Does Trump"debase" himself when he resorts to name calling of his opponents?
  3. I've got a "friend " in Bangkok is like to catch up with, so I'm not thinking about Pattaya. But looking at the weather app on my phone, the daily temperatures for next week are around 35-36 degrees.
  4. I'm keeping a close eye on the weather in Bangkok. Is it bearable at the moment? It seems too hot and rainy. Is it raining constantly or just periodically during the day? I can live with that. I'll be on the plane as soon as it improves. Unfortunately, Japan is enduring the same weather conditions.
  5. When I returned to live in Australia I left all my friends behind in Japan. Suddenly I found myself totally alone, having no family or relatives here. Life-long friendships are normally formed with those with whom you went through school /university and, of course, I didn't have anyone here. I was in total despair and desperate for company and found myself constantly flying back to Japan just to meet up with friends. In Japan one of my hobbies was car racing. After I bought my first car here I immediately joined a car club and it was here that I made my first friends. We'd go on drives together and participate in various club events and car rallies and races, I then bought another car and subsequently joined their car club and made even more friends. Through these new friends I was introduced to other activities and my circle of friends expanded expeditiously. I now do a lot of volunteer work so have a new group of friends. So the answer to lonliness is, as Caeron said, getting involved. If you don't have a hobby, find one and then join a club dedicated to that hobby. Volunteering would be an easy way to start meeting people. But you have to be proactive and get off your bum and make the first move. Friends won't come to you; you have to make an effort.
  6. If you are hoping to find love by associating with moneyboys half your age, I suggest you are looking in the wrong place. Not that it is impossible, but I think your chances are slim, especially if he is fully financially dependent on you. At our age, loneliness is not uncommon, which means there are lots of guys of our generation who are looking for a relationship. That's the cohort in which I'd be looking if I wanted a relationship. (I don't). I live alone and have no interest in getting involved romantically with someone. I have a wide circle of friends so I'm normally not lonely. Sex is of the paid variety with guys much younger then myself.
  7. Those Democrat "insiders" appear to have been lying all along by insisting that Biden was as sharp as a tack. Today the true situation was on full display. Staring blankly at the camera with his mouth open just made him look old and lost. By comparison, Trump appeared full of life and invigorated. If Biden is this bumbling and incoherent now, what will be be like in 4 years time? The fact that Trump lied his way through the debate and refused to answer questions put to him multiple times has been completely overshadowed by Biden's poor performance. They will have to find a new candidate.
  8. Marjorie Taylor Greene was interviewed in Australia on the ABC last night. OMG! She's a total lunatic! How on earth can anyone possibly support her? She's more unhinged than Trump. Plus, she came across as a very nasty piece of work. She and Trump thoroughly deserve each other.
  9. "Updated Apr 28, 2023, 12:26pm EDT TOPLINE A new study published in Journal of the American Medical Association’s Surgery found that firearm deaths are more likely in small rural towns than in major urban cities, adding to research that contradicts common belief that Democratic blue areas have higher incidences of gun-related deaths than do Republican red districts. https://www.congress.gov/118/meeting/house/116676/documents/HHRG-118-JU08-20231213-SD004.pdf
  10. And Biden will talk about the 318 people who have been killed and the 836 people who have been injured in 225 shootings in America, as of May 31 this year. (Source: Wikipedia)
  11. Would you have to pay extra for milk?
  12. I first went to Seoul around 2018 and went back there with a friend last year. We took the high -speed ferry from Japan and stayed a couple of days in Busan before catching the train up to Seoul. Seoul was disappointing as it was flattened in the Korean war and I don't think the reconstruction has been done successfully. The other problem I found was that everyone stinks of garlic! I nearly threw up when I first got into a taxi. Busan was equally disappointing, as there isn't much to see, apart from the Gamcheon Culture Village. Also, there is a huge fish market in the centre of town and you can smell it all over the city. I'd hate to think what it is like in summer. As for the Korean guys, both cities are full of impossibly cute and handsome young men. OMG!
  13. How could they possible leave Tokyo off the list?? (BTW, I believe it has the most Michelin-starred restaurants in the world.) I guess they didn't put much effort into their research.
  14. Trump is so sick of winning, the guilty verdict must come as a relief. His constant declarations of innocence are laughable - except to the brainwashed, uneducated, hillbilly trailer-trash magamaniacs. If he were truly innocent, why didn't he testify to give us the real "truth"? Why has be never addressed all the evidence - the phone calls, multiple emails, receipts, documents, etc. Witnesses can lie but the physical evidence can't. It's that very evidence which proves the trial was not rigged and was not part of a Biden conspiracy. Trump has now joined all those criminals he says are crossing the border. How ironic! BTW, how come in the U.S., if you are convicted of a crime, you can become president but cannot vote? Am I missing something here??
  15. Disney's "It's a Small World".
  16. "Many of the wives were punting out their husbands to bring in more income (bacon). I always found it amazing that the wives were never jealous." Many wives and girlfriend used to sit outside the old Krazy Dragon bar in Sunee Plaza, waiting for the bar to close. Some had babies with them. Punters were often encouraged by these women to take their guys home for sex. I also remember chatting to a Norwegian woman whose partner was the hugely hung top in the fuck show at one of the bars a couple of streets behind Boystown. When I asked her if she had a problem with her guy fucking another guy she just laughed. It's just a job, she said, and at the end of the night I get to enjoy his cock. TIT.
  17. The Action Bar also had a 2-way mirror looking over the urinal trough so you knew who was hung and who wasn't. I loved the Oral Academy, as the guys were very well endowered and quite a mouthful!
  18. Yes, I followed the daily cherry blossom report on TV but it kept changing in line with the unpredictable weather. But we didn't have any particular time -frame; we stayed there until we saw them in full bloom in Kyoto, Tokyo and other areas.
  19. I was one of them but decided to pull out - tripus interruptus. With climate change well and truly upon us, who knows what weather to expect these days? We arrived in Japan at what we thought was the start of the cherry blossom season this year and started to panic when we saw that there were still only buds on the trees. Due to climate change the blossoms bloomed the latest in 10 years. Luckily, we were there long enough to see them in all their glory. I feel sorry for all those tourists who had booked cherry blossom trips and missed out. I'll keep an eager eye on Bangkok temperatures. I can't wait to get back there.
  20. Not really. They want to be free and independent and not rely on anyone. None of the women mentioned "being treated like equal human being" or "fluffing" the male ego.
  21. I use centimetres, not inches, when I measure dicks. Somehow it makes them seem bigger.
  22. "nor have I seen any studies to show these are effective at preventing PF. " No, they don't prevent pf but they relieve it to the point where it is no longer a problem.
  23. When I was growing up in Japan I never suffered from plantar fasciitis ; not did I ever hear of someone suffering from it. It only started when I returned to live in Australia. I take my shoes off in my own home but when I visit friends, they all wear their shoes indoor, ,so I leave mine on, too. That may or may not be the cause of my plantar fasciitis. After years of pain I finally came across a solution! Compression socks. Who would have imagined that such a simple solution existed? I only get pain when I go to bed so I just slip these on and the pain magically disappears. So carry these instead of slippers. Maybe worth a try.
  24. Where were these protesters on October 7?
