What is the going rate for the guys you hire and Manny’s guys?

Hi guys, I’m in Santo Domingo for another week and staying at the Jaragua, where I usually stay, because I like the pool. Even though I have had guys come to my room before with no problem, I’d like to get a cheap Airbnb for a few days just for sex. Can anyone recommend a place you’ve used? Please PM me if you don’t want to post publicly. I thought I found a decent place nearby but I wrote the host and asked about security and she said there was 24-hour security.

Yeah, there was some incident where the Chinese were offended and canceled all plans to visit Japan. I wasn’t sure how long this would last, but glad to hear it. I was in Kyoto during Lunar New Year and it was ridiculous. I got up before dawn to visit the most popular spots, but the streets were often packed with throngs of Chinese and it was impossible to walk. I’m returning to Tokyo and Nagoya in the spring around the time of cherry blossoms. I might actually get to enjoy them without huge crowds.

You've probably already been and left, but I don't think the Japanese government has the resources to check every address of every person visiting Japan. I've gone and moved around the country, changed Airbnbs, etc., but none of that was reflected on my immigration form. I would just put any hotel. They won't check. I think they'd only refer to that if there were a problem and they needed to find you.

I stayed at the Apa hotel in Ginza and Tokyu Stay in Nishishinjuku and didn't have any problems. There was a sign at the Apa saying unregistered guests were not permitted, but I just met my friends outside and then walked in with them and got on the elevator together - people at the desk were always too busy to notice. Same in Kyoto - no problem. Last time I had an Airbnb and again, no issues with guests (though some Airbnb listings make a point of saying no guests and making it sound pretty scary if you break the rule). I think there may be issues in some hotels and Airbnbs, but not all. I doubt any hotels will say they are "guest-friendly".

It was just that one time, but as I said, I think things happen. On Sniffies, Therma Yu is listed as a cruising spot and it says guys go to the restroom. I think the issue is people don't know the answers to those questions. At least I don't. I know a few restaurants, but none that fit his criteria. Don't know about WiFi speed outside of hotels, don't know weekend locations outside of Boca Chica, don't know about Tinder, and I don't know the neighborhood he chose. Other than that, there is a ton of information already provided here. Can you answer any of his questions?

I'm planning a trip back to Japan in the spring and will be in Nagoya for about three weeks. I've been going through all of the threads and found a few agencies with offices there, but wondering if anyone has been and has any recommendations.

I didn't have any issues in the two Airbnbs I stayed in on my last trip, but from what I recall, they do have "no guest" policies. I think I passed over a few because they threatened fines or eviction if the policy was violated, so read the rules carefully. I think they are probably especially vigilant around Kabukicho and Shin-Okubo areas. Most of the agencies have a room you can use for a nominal fee.

It’s the end of my month in Italy and I am ready to return home. It’s been a lot of fun with many adventures, and many men - more than I thought I’d meet, thanks mostly to Reggio Calabria. The people are very kind and friendly, there are a lot of good restaurants, a few interesting museums, and the views are just stunning across the Strait of Messina to Sicily. And, since you’ll be a new face with very little competition, you can probably expect to meet some very hot guys on Grindr.

Today is my last day in Catania and I’m ready to go. If it weren’t for this fabulous Airbnb that I am renting, and some terrific little restaurants I found nearby, and two spa experiences, I would write the whole place off. I’m sharing this as a caution to anyone who does come. There is a sauna and apparently a few gay bars, so if that’s your scene, it might work out, but be careful about meeting guys on Grindr. It didn’t work out well for me.

I had a good day exploring Catania, even though it was a bit frustrating trying to find what I was looking for. In Palermo it was Tunisians, and here in Catania, it’s Libyans. Yesterday, it was a Libyan who was in town. Today someone messaged me from Tripoli.
