  1. I started this thread and am unsure if I should start a new one or continue here, as there seems to be some side-tracking. If I post, it’s because I want to share with all of you, so please let me know if I should keep going here or start a new thread for Rio. I’ve realized I didn’t fully appreciate Rio due to the rain and some issues with the saunas. The saunas were a bit worn out, which affected my impression. Plus, the weather didn’t help, so I’ll reserve any judgment for now. I don’t mind places being a bit worn out—I was at the Republic cabins and movie theaters, after all! I’m currently recovering from quad repair surgery, and since I need to rest and take it easy, it wasn’t as bad as I expected. Consequently, I’ve changed all my plans. I’ve canceled my September trip to Brazil and my November trip to Barcelona, and I’m now considering Rio for late October or November. Any tips? I know December is high season, and I want to stay in the States for Thanksgiving. So it would be appreciated since my vacation plans are hanging by a thread due to my leg recovery, and I’m not a kid anymore—quite the opposite. Previously, I focused on São Paulo with a possibility of Rio, but this time I’m considering either skipping São Paulo altogether and staying in Rio or spending some time in São Paulo and then the rest in Rio. I want to enjoy the city and the experiences it offers. I noticed that American Airlines has non-stop flights, which is a plus. I’ve been an American Airlines customer for years, including c.c, but my last trip had poor service. Recently, Delta has been the best option for me. I haven’t had any hookups sex in months so I’ll be quite hungry when I arrive. I would have been better prepared if I were further along in my physical therapy, but I’ll know by mid-September when I can walk without a cane. I’m really looking forward to Brazil—it’s such a great country, and the people there make me feel incredible. Since I was young, I wasn't blessed with looks or charisma, so I haven't had many s, and hookups or dating have always been a struggle for me., but in Brazil, it’s so great. Especially all my times in SP Lagoa—deep kissing, BFE with wild or tender sex. I hope I can find that in Rio. Wish me luck! to be continued...
  2. thanks, @Canadianbtmguy and @buttercawan I tried, and if I include Rio, I always have to stop in São Paulo or another country, like Panama or another Latin American country. If it weren't for my friends waiting for me in Barcelona for my November trip, I would switch to going in October. I might end up doing the same as last time: a round trip to JFK and then taking GOL to São Paulo and Rio. The prices for Brazil are higher compared to last year or when I went in March/April. It’s strange that Rio, one of the biggest tourist cities in the world, doesn't have many direct flights from NYC. I checked flights from Miami to Rio, and the only direct flight from American Airlines is outrageously expensive, starting at $1500 for the economy. I still want to include Rio in my trip because I’ve read so many people in forums discussing their plans for Rio. I thought it would be easy, but it seems like Rio isn’t as easy as it used to be. In April, I paid $40 for a round trip from São Paulo to Rio with an extra leg, so it was easy. I guess I will do the same or forget about Rio. I never thought of taking a bus since it was so cheap before. I’ll let you know how it goes. I already have my BCN flight; it was such a great price to do NYC to BCN I got Premium for 600, and Iberia has 400 tickets. , and I added Zurich for my 17-day Eurotrip.
  3. Well, I thought the driver would be the one giving the first sign. It's kind of hard and potentially dangerous for me to make a move on a driver who might get angry, take me who knows where, or just throw me out of the moving car. Either way, whether the driver initiates or the passenger does, it sounds hot, but I've never been in that situation. I've heard about it but have no clue how to make it happen. I already booked my hotels in those two cities, which can easily be rebooked. I just need to figure out, as I mentioned in the other thread, how to visit both cities easily. Regarding luggage, I don't worry since, over the years, I've learned how to pack in a carry-on and a backpack. I don't kid myself; for those types of trips, I just need the minimum. I'm a very laid-back traveler.
  4. Thanks, @Xclay. Good to know. October is a bit later than my plans. I hope to visit São Paulo/Rio de Janeiro in September and then Barcelona in November. I can see why Rio is a favorite for most people on the Brazil forum, with its many tourist options and at least two GP saunas. However, I enjoy São Paulo, and I have three regular providers there from my past two trips. They are exactly my type and are cool, nice guys to have as regulars. and it helps that, they are also hot and hung tops. Rio hasn't been kind to me. The last time I was there, it rained every day. Only two days were not rainy, but they were very cloudy. The weather prevented me from doing the tourist activities I had planned. It rained so much that I ended up going to the aquarium, which is not really my type of attraction. I wish I knew how to arrange a stopover since flights to Rio almost always stop in São Paulo. That way, I could stay there for a couple of days before heading to Rio and give Rio the proper attention it deserves. So far i have the hotels for all the 3 cities booked and I will make my decision for my Brazil trip this July.
  5. i've never been able to hook up with a taxi driver or Uber driver. It might be exciting, but no, I'm not the type who gets hit on. that used to bother me, but now it doesn't. I'm the one who chooses who I want to be with. I think I'll stick to São Paulo and Rio. It's not that I'm tired of them; quite the opposite, I can't wait to go back. there so much I can do and discover there.I wish I could go every three months, lol, but I can't. I have a bunch of responsibilities here in my city.
  6. I noticed that there are rarely any non-stop flights from NYC to Rio, but there are direct flights to São Paulo. How do you manage to visit both cities? Last time, I booked a flight to Rio (SOL) while in São Paulo. It was pretty cheap and fast. I did JFK to São Paulo, then São Paulo to Rio, then Rio to São Paulo, and finally São Paulo to JFK. Don't be too harsh on me—it was my first time in Rio. Would it be better to do just JFK to São Paulo to Rio and then back to JFK?l from Rio? Any recommendation? A This time, I will have only 10 days, including a weekend, and I really want to visit Rio again.
  7. Reading this post, I’m starting to understand the question, "Why is he constantly in Brazil?" I've never thought I would be asked that since I've been single/divorced for five years. But when I mentioned that I already booked Rio and São Paulo for September, I got the "AGAIN?" This made me smile because I read about OP’s predicament. Luckily, I was able to brush it off, and people didn’t pay much attention to my non-answer. I also have the "loner" label. It’s funny how people ask why I don’t travel to other places in the world. I do! I go to Spain once a year and visit other European countries as well, but I am addicted to Brazilian meat 😜 Also, I am wondering if there are any other cities worth visiting besides São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. Based on the comments in this thread, Salvador doesn't sound too promising. Is there anything worth visiting in Rio Grande do Sul? I read it has a significant European population. so may some yummy GP? i may be wrong since I am not entirely familiar with Brazil's geography.
  8. Brazil never disappoints, wow. They are the best and put big cities to shame. They have everything needed for a great time starting for the GP. Usually, I'm not lucky in places where you don't have to pay, I am one of those who leave a sex club here in the States, empty-handed 😕 and frustrated due to age and body type discrimination. But in Brazil, I swear I felt like a hot 20-year-old in those clubs. still prefer a hot GP hotter than I will get in those places. I'm glad I learned about Brazil, even if it's a bit late in life and is not as great as some posters mentioned it was back in the day, and I'm catching up now. I can't wait to be back in September I am planning Barcelona for my birthday, in November, but I am tempted to go to Brazil twice the rest of the year.
  9. wow. the dollar is so strong now, that I wish I could take some time off to go back to Brazil 1.00 US Dollar = 5.2063108 Brazilian Reais
  10. I've been closely following this case, much to my dismay since I wish I could avoid it. Being fluent in Spanish and having many ties and friends in Barcelona, it's incredibly infuriating how the blame has been placed on the Colombian doctor. They've gone as far as to suggest that the doctor wanted to rape the younger Spaniard, and that the Spaniard bought the knife to cut coconuts, despite not buying any coconuts or meat to cut, and purchasing trash bags to use as umbrellas for the rain. It's so frustrating—I can't help but put myself in the position, and it's scary of the violence, and because of the media defending a "straight guy" young attractive and, painted press words “halo effect” against an older male. The father of the killer is a Spanish actor who already has a documentary series on HBO Max where he claims his son was in a vulnerable age, even though the guy is 29 years old. Single. Never married without a stable job. The Dr was already a famous surgeon in Colombia and chile nad want to open another clinic in Barcelona so he can live and support his killer. crazy 🤬😳😡😡😡
  11. Hi. I believe the guys are free, i Dont know, read, or heard anyone asking or offer atipping for interactions, although I'm unsure as I didn't engage with any.i would ask? If be ready to tip if it's the right guy. One staff member at the Hot House mentioned that interactives get paid by the house R$120, which seems relatively low. When I visit bars with interactives, I usually carry 50 real bills just in case. I only used it once, with a non GP, to tip a go-go boy who wasn't an interactive at Hot House, and he was stunning. It was a rare occurrence as I've been to Hot House several times and have never encountered such a classic beauty. I enjoy the atmosphere of places with strippers and attractive guys; I love holding a handsome guy while having my drink. i keep tipping him so no other clients hold it. Until it was his turn to dance 🙃
  12. Now, some places in São Paulo that I didn't mention and visited for the first time: Upgrade Sex Club: I went when they had interactives. Three guys were acting as interactives, and you can see the type of interactive guys and the clients who attend on their Twitter page: https://twitter.com/upgradesxclub It's pretty accurate. Something I like about Brazil is that they don't try to present the type of guy that won't be there. You know, it's so easy or tempting to put a couple of Greek god-looking guys, but they present the type of guys that you will find. You may like or not like that type, but I found it honest and liberating. I was at Upgrade for 2 hours, and it wasn't that crowded. You enter, and they give you the locker key, in that place a few of us were naked only with jockstraps and sneakers; and upstairs is a bar with really great bartenders guys. They're very nice and reliable, again not picture-perfect pretty boys, but with great bodies and awesome personalities in their mid-30s. So that was a plus. Then you walk to the back, and it's mostly slings and dark corners, not cubicles. It's very dark but with enough dimmed light to see around. It's like the other clubs, and having the choice of those super hot GPs spoiled my taste. Since I don't have the same energy anymore, I go to those places to check them out, but because they are usually after the saunas, I'm already satisfied and tired. So I went there to check it out, but it's nice that I was able to have some interactions, something that here in the States has become harder and harder as you get older. these two pics from their websites are pretty accurate of the lighting and space. it is only that. this is it. including the bar (3rd pic)that once you sit in it the place looks like picture one. f Another place in São Paulo that I visited for the first time was Hotel Chill: https://www.hotelchilli.com.br/ Wow, someone in their 30s would love that place! It's huge, it's loud, and it's perfect for those who don't mind a heavy-duty sex club. I guess it's called a hotel because it's one of the few, at least from my visits to sex clubs in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, that have little rooms with beds and keys. It's like the saunas here in America. Have you guys been to GI Joe in Montreal? It's like that but bigger, with a bunch of whirlpools. For me, it was fun but also a bit overwhelming. I was there after a heavy session at Lagoa, so I enjoyed the music, had some drinks, and left. I don't think it would work as an actual hotel where you leave your suitcase and keep visiting other places. I guess you can since they allow multiple entries, but it's so loud and there's so much fun happening around you that I doubt you can use it as what a hotel means - to relax and rest. It has four floors and it's a bit complicated, with elevators, thank God! People are super friendly, mostly in their 30s and 40s, and some in their 50s. Again, I didn't feel discriminated against as I sometimes do in those types of places if you're not hot, young, or have a muscular body. The staff are super friendly. Yes, Brazil is a dream for those of us who aren't lucky in the looks department. And if you're hot, oh boy, I bet it's heaven on earth because if a late 50s chub like me can have so much fun, paying or free, just imagine some hot 30s, paradise!
  13. hi, Nudity is optional. I saw a couple of guys wearing shorts and shirts, but there were very few. I am not in shape and very self-conscious about my belly, but lately, having committed to GPs, I started to loosen up. The old Bijou, the memories. To be honest, Taurus Bar it's way better. I didn't see anyone holding a cubicle, but there aren't that many booths to hold. I found this Seven Cruising Bar, also in Rio, but this looks more like Taurus Bar. two rows with 4 cubicles and that is. I didn't want to talk trash about the Bijou or any of the sex places in NYC, maybe back in the late '80s and early 90 was fun, for some people blessed in the looks aspect.. maybe because I am a tourist, but attitude in Brazil sex places are more welcoming, and so chill.
  14. I enjoyed Taurus Bar because it doesn't clash with the GP sauna's schedule. As an older, out-of-shape white guy, I felt warmly welcomed. You know those inclusive sex parties in the United States that claim to be body-positive, but once you're there, you feel rejected and hardly anyone shows interest in you? Well, at Taurus Bar, I experienced true inclusivity; I felt like I was a part of the party just like anyone else. I can't recall if I mentioned this, but they have showers and there's a guy selling thongs, underwear, and swimsuits in the locker area—although I couldn't quite discern what he was selling. Overall, it's a fantastic place, and if I were younger or had more energy, I would be there every single night. As for downsides, it's only open on weekends—I think I visited on a Thursday because it was Holy Friday. However, I can't think of anything negative to say about the place. The gay lifestyle in Brazil is amazing. I tried to find a gay bar that wasn't a GP, but I couldn't locate any. Some people mentioned some, but I didn't come across any that were convincing or had the right hours.
  15. Back in rainy NYC; it seems the rain followed me from Rio. I'm still tired from the long trip, so bear with me, my typos, and my skimpy reports. I will improve over time as I have a chance to rest. But overall, I love it, and I can't wait to come back. My main recommendation, especially for newcomers or those unfamiliar with the city, is to download and keep offline all the addresses, maps, and locations that you want to visit before going to Rio de Janeiro. As I mentioned before, I had to buy a cheap phone. Thanks to previous posters, I was able to get a 1200 Rreals Motorola phone with Tim mobile that takes your passport number. I got it at my favorite shopping mall in Rio: the Shopping RioSul at Rua Lauro Müller, 116 - Botafogo. In Rio, it was rainy all week and very humid. I'm not a beach person, and I get red and sore from excessive sun exposure, but I would have loved to have at least a couple of sunny days. I've been to most of the places I intended to visit. Point 202 hasn't been my favorite; the layout, the paper-thin bedsheets, and the run-down appearance of that place have been a turn-off. or at least i did expect to lo look that way. I didn't go during any of the free cabin days because I didn't want to contend with cheap patrons for a cabin, so I skipped those days at both Point 202 and 117. Last night, Wednesday, I was at 117, and it was very slow. i may do a separate report. Out of both of them, 117 has better installations, with two bars, one for the shows and one for the smokers. As with the rest of the saunas with GPs you get your locker and your sandals, walk around, get your drink, and start looking for the best boys. Also, I had a massage; in both, the Point 202 masseur was this cute Colombian boy, but in 117, they had better masseurs. Did I find hot boys in both places? Yes, but I don't think it was the best week for Rio. Maybe the Semana Santa influenced the situation, plus the heavy rain, so I will visit Rio next time. I went to these places: Sauna Rio G Spa: That sauna was pretty disappointing. It is so small and narrow that the type of clientele is not as hot as the reviews about gay Rio locations say it was and that it was closed to the gay area in Ipanema, or at least it wasn't the time I went. The bar is tiny. The second floor has some cabins that make\ t a dark room. I don't know if it was because of the days I went, but with so many other options, I did not it give it another try.\ Taurus Bar: https://x.com/TaurusBar?s=20 It only opens on weekends. I went on a Friday and Saturday, and it was okay. It is located in Rua da Lapa, 8 - Lapa, an area that people in Rio keep commenting is very popular with bars, but I only visited Taurus Bar and didn't see or find another place in that area. TB has two floors; you pay at the entrance and they give you a locker key but also a wristband. There's a small bar on the way to the lockers. Then, you climb the stairs to a second floor with plenty of public cabins and a back room that doesn't feel as claustrophobic as other dark rooms I've been to before. Also, not that many people were my age (late 50s), and I was the whitest of the white. Most people were late 20s to late 40s and very Latino-looking. Also, I didn't feel any rejection because of my age or my shape or skin color; quite the opposite, I had fun without paying, so that was a new one for me. If you want more details, let me know. I stayed only for an hour. Seven Cruising Bar: So far, my favorite bar for just cruising with no GP, at least when I went, I think they may have interactives on Saturdays. I wish I had more time to explore it, but it's completely out of my way and closes at 10 pm, so since I was going to visit the GP saunas every, I went in the noon, and I liked it. It's a hidden location. I took some pictures from outside so you can get an idea. Another narrow staircase leads the way up, then a tiny foyer to pay for the entrance and then get the locker. I followed what most people were doing: kept my sneakers and walked in underwear without a t-shirt and my big belly out. Out of the only cruising, not GP on-site, Seven Cruising bar has the best-looking people, even better looking than Rio G Spa. It has themes for each day. Look at the Twitter account.https://x.com/sevenbarbr?s=20 i didnt stay long either. Rosa sex shop vs. Sex Rose: These establishments have similar and confusing names, with two locations. One is situated in a shopping center, with one on the 3rd floor. However, that one is only a sex shop, so I suggest skipping it. I mention this because most posts for cruising sites display the address as Av. Rio Branco, 156 - Store/Loja 344, but that's not the correct one. The correct location is in-store/ Loja 133 on the lower level of the mall. Similar to most other places, this one is pretty narrow with 3 or 4 cabins, and the patrons are mostly over 40. The tricky part is that there is another Rose Shop called Sex Rose. I believe this other shop is the one that some other posters in the forum have mentioned. This one was hard to find for some reason, as the address got confused. However, it is located in the area called Cinelandia. It sits on a very narrow street that taxis will have a hard time navigating. This one is located next to an old movie theater called Cinema Rex, at Rua Alvaro Alvim 37. The other Rose shop is better; it is dark and has a lot of hallways. It has two floors; you pay 25 reals, and it is the typical maze with a bunch of cabins, most of them playing movies. If you want more details, let me know. That is it, for now, coming soon part 2 or 3 lol. It is a lot to take in. I am not in the best shape, and the humidity took the fun out of my knees. But definitely the highlight, at least for me, is the GP saunas. \
  16. I like the Hotel Heritage; it's pretty and quiet, but the rooms are small. As for bringing guests, I'm not sure—I don't usually bring guests as I'm not too keen on that type of intimacy. I value my privacy too much. However, to use the elevator, you'll need the keycard. Perhaps someone else from the forum who has stayed at the Heritage and brought guests can provide more information. Regarding the rates, it's 200 reais, but if you want the house specialty, the leite , it's better to ask in advance. Most likely, they will provide. I will report details; I just need to rest and pick up my Plan B pill.😛 😇
  17. hi @babybear2 Definitely São Paulo, for the greatest sextacation. If you're into a classic tourist mood, Rio de Janeiro offers more options, but I'd recommend checking the weather—Rio with thunderstorms isn't enjoyable at all and can/will spoil the experience, As it happened to me, it was rainy the whole week, so i didnt do too much outdoor stuff As for the GPs, there's no doubt in my mind that São Paulo's Lagoa is the best. I doubt there's a better place in the Americas than Lagoa. I was there yesterday, and not only was it bustling with many clients and tons of beautiful GPs, but it was also incredibly fun. The atmosphere was so joyful, you could feel it in the air. Call me cheesy, but it was one of the best days of mysexlife—it was everything I ever wanted and more. it was a candy shop. didnt know where to look or what to grab. Surprisingly, I'm not even sore with all those 9"+. At one point, I was sitting with three stunning GPs—one blonde, one brunette, and one mulatto—and could have had three more if i wanted, so there were other clients sitting with hot GPs. I'm already making reservations for SP in August; I'm unsure if I'll give Rio another try—117 and Point 202 don't offer the same quality of GPs or facilities that one can find in São Paulo's Lagoas. Once I'm settled, I'll write up a couple of reports. I hope Lagoa remains as good as it's always been, but last night was heavenly—one for the records. I'll cherish that Saturday forever, to tell my grandkids
  18. So much to tell! I spent one week in Rio, and now I'm back at SP Lagoas, thriving with hot garotos and happy clients. I'm with a São Paulo boy, and I absolutely love it here."
  19. hi guys, I've just arrived in Rio. Everything's smooth and sweet domestic flight . I had a blast in São Paulo, and now I'm in Rio, although I arrived kind of late. I went straight to 117 since the Point 202 is closed on Sundays. So far, so good. I'm getting used to the sauna layout. I've already seen some beautiful GP, but I'm just checking things out and getting used to the place. It's a plus to have such hot guys around on a Sunday this late. I'll be staying in Rio until Sunday, then heading back to São Paulo for a couple of dates. It's raining in Rio, which kind of defeats the purpose, but the guys are so hot that I do t care. If I have any energy left, I might explore some other places in Rio on Sunday. I am preparing my SP report since I went to : - Upgrade - Chilli Pepper Single Hotel - Hot House - couple of Peepshows Edit after an hour. The best GP, that I saw in my way in have left, now only the ones no one wants. so I am checking where to go next. Taurus Bar or Seven Cruising aren’t GP places but I do t think is zany other at this time so if you are in Rio on a Sunday by 20 h is not worth
  20. Thanks @TotallyOz I am still in Lagoa. Ihabe such a great time. Supporting my hot GP 73276263712__41100017-C9EF-4F15-B871-FD8F198CEACD.MOV
  21. PS: there is a lot of competition with very generous clients holding the pretty boys. Hopefully 🤞 versatile or top. Do I would order a bottle of champagne. Since the luckiest holding the boys have one garrafa of champagne. I will report. Is just reals$250 lol.
  22. Thanks, Every one. The history of my life. Jot and pretty are super bottom. I am back at Lagoa. I using Lagoa WiFi since Hotel Heritage sucks. It says too many login in the same network. And I am saving my data for when I am in street. I was checking Hot House and the interactive there his name is Daniel Toro, I think, he is not nice and I will never say this about anyone but him I wouldn't even touch. I hope is not only him the whole weekend. I keep looking for a place to go Thursday night, for a change. But I can't find. my GP is ready. See ya 🤣🤣🤪🤪
  23. hey, I messed up all the names while using my cell phone. I just realized that my title has a typo. Can a moderator fix it for me? Please, I meant "São Paulo," not "Sau Paulo.:( my report will have a lot of typos, i meant Espaco Lagoa Sauna. i took the picture during bingo time. The weather is fantastic. It's hot, but bearable. It was supposed to rain, but it didn't. I was able to exchange Brazilian Reals at a great rate. However, I did encounter some trouble using Banco Santander. Usually, I use the one in Paulista Avenue Shopping Center 3, which is very convenient. For some reason, it didn't work this time. Thankfully, at the intersection of Paulista Avenue and Consolação, Pao de Açúcar Supermarket, at R. da Consolação, 2581, there's an ATM that gave me all the money I needed. I discovered this while going to a place called Cabines Bar Paulista. It opens at 2 pm, but every time I've been there, it's been empty, it has glory holes and cabins. However, on my previous trip, I was able to buy poppers there. Luckily, I brought them with me this time because the guy didn't have any. He said he would have some on Friday, so I plan to stop by to buy some for Rio. Lagoa, what a wonderful place! I forgot that the towels come in sealed plastic bags. The sandals are Havaianas, and the staff is so friendly. I arrived there a bit before 4 pm, and it was kind of empty, but it filled up quickly. There were around 20 guys, all types. I met one of my previous encounters, this kid, a light skin mulato with green eyes and such a huge cock. I made the mistake of choosing him first, and it was hard to handle, It was so big that it tore me apart, in a good way :😜. but it was fun, of course. He loves to kiss and is always very helpful, getting the key, opening doors for me, and telling me how much he likes me. I usually give him 200 reals since we spend more than 30 minutes together. Where else can you find a hot 22-year-old with a real 9-inch, beautiful, meaty cock for just $40? Then I had my eye on this handsome boy, one of the few Caucasian GPs that night. Most of them were of mixed race or black, but I'm an equal opportunist. My rules are simple: I want a full top. If not pretty, at least have a handsome face, but I prefer pretty boys and 8 inches or more. However, this pretty boy was just 7 inches, but he was so handsome that I spent most of the night with him. After such a long trip—I was on a Delta Comfort+ flight and was exhausted—I went to bed by 10 pm. By the way, that flight had some scary turbulence moments. I'm a frequent flyer, and I rarely use Delta. It was great service, but there were about 30 minutes of turbulence that I hadn't experienced before, i.e., scary ones, and i didn't get scared while flying 0.0 it was a moment that I was, like, ok, this is it. We are going down, lol. but once we all fell asleep, it was fine. the airport in jfk and GRU in-and-outs were a breeze That's it for now. Upgrades only happen on the weekend, so I will try them this Friday. The Seven Cruising Bar says it is closed permanently; I will check if it's true. Dedalos is just okay, but I will check it out. I want to try places that I can visit between Lagoa trips, either before, in the morning, or after hours. If you have any recommendations, let me know.
  24. I went to Lagos. It was just ok. I e one of my fave ones and ia couple of new ones. I will report later.
