  1. I had heard of this place and was curious. I then saw hotel prices over the NYE period so figured its the perfect time to try it out, so I've booked a few nights in the dorm over New Years. Could be fun. I stayed at a hostel in Tokyo that was similar. When I checked in the manager asked if I was gay, when I answered yes he said, I thought so, you'll enjoy the third floor:) Open showers and understanding the place is cruisy makes people pretty adventurous. I'll be sure to report back.
  2. Smalls Jazz Bar in Sathorn is a great little bar. Been a few times. Some good bars and resturants nearby too,
  3. To echo the comments above: read through the Boys Agencies Update post. Lots of good information that is still up to date - websites, breakdown of symbology, recent reviews. You can't go wrong with the advice in there. If you have any other questions Id be glad to help.
  4. I wouldn't be so sure, but your welcome.
  5. Joiners no problem. Rooms large and comfortable, but dated. The biggest pluses are cost, location, and the pool. I'll be back there next week!
  6. Queensland for Christmas, Bangkok for New Year. And it'll be cooler in Bangkok!
  7. I'd try a few out. They can be hit or miss, but I've had some great times at the sauna events in Bangkok.
  8. Pretty much. It's ususally promoted on thier respective twitter accounts. I was at Chakran in July when they held it. There were only 20 or so punters so when they opened the doors it was pretty manageable. I'll be back in town over NY and will probably check it out again. I imagine the crowd will be a lot bigger.
  9. They regularly host shows in a bedroom accessed of the side of the rooftop pool. The curtains will open revealling a bed with around 4 of the massage guys playing with each other. After a set amount of time, the doors are opened and punters are invited to join in;)
  10. Same. Unless the hotel is the destination I'm generally happy with much cheaper options. I generally stay at The Rose for the price, location, amazing pool and staff discrection.
  11. I stayed at So just as Covid restrictions were lifting and got a great price. The hotel is a great 5☆ choice and the pool area probably attracts more gays than the old Babylon:) While i was there an asian sugar daddy was being entertsined by 4 hunks. Drinks were flowing freely and all having a great time! I'm headed back to Bangkok for New Years and will try out the Pullman G for a few nights.
  12. That sounds like a great trip! I've always been interested in going there, the guys are incredibly hot, tops or bottoms, I'd happily sample both!
  13. I like The Rose. The rooms are a bit old and there is no gym, but the location is good, the price is great and the pool is amazing. No problems with friends joing either. Has anyone else stayed there?
  14. I tell close friends, half are fwb and the other half straight mates. The gay ones don't care and the straight ones say they would do the same if they could. I'm now single after many years and have enjoyed that status around the world the last couple of years. The young guys, the sauna orgys, the dancing all night: i enjoy the same. We enjoy it, were not coercing anybody and everyone walks away satified (mostly!). The old sterotype of gays being past thier prime by 30 is long gone. I seem to get more attention the older i get. Daddies got popular at the right time for me, and you Olddaddy! I say if your not hurting anyone and your treating people with respect, go for your life.
  15. The big ones (R3, Chakran, Krubb, Sauna Mania) are all great when they have thier speciall events on, like foam parties, group sessions and model shows with audience participation:) Ive had a great time at all of them, except Sauna Mania (haven't checked it out yet). Last time I went to R3 i lefr absolutley exhausted after a few hours! I'll be back in Bangkok at the end of the year and keen to check out some of the new onsens that have sprung up the last few years. The biggest problem is choosing which one to check out.
