  1. Last three Democratic presidents there were 80 million net jobs added to the economy. Under the last two Republican presidents there were 1 million net jobs created. If you hate job creation and a growing economy for non-Wall Street, vote Republican.
  2. Canada pledged today that they would station forces in Ukrainian, as part of the security guarantees, once the hot war ended. Continuing in the tradition of peacekeepers. Maybe Canada should get the Nobel Peace prize, instead of the Incompetent-in-Chief currently squatting in the White House.
  3. We might eventually see if there was any real concern about any classified information John Bolton may or may not have had in his home. As long as he was storing it in a bathroom or the back of a stage in a room that the public had access to - he should be good. Just ask Aileen Cannon.
  4. Someone hasn't been taking his happy pill. What was I thinking. Pointing out that the Incompetent-in-Chief has taken out a contract on America to tank the economy and drive up the federal debt to formerly unknown levels.
  5. I'm glad that they're going to include a question about a national independent commission to set up congressional boundaries as well - like almost every other major nation has.
  6. TDS. Trump Delusion Syndrome. It's finally breaking. The sixth stage of grief - get the fuck off your ass and fight back against the (small)dick-tator. It's good to see there are some elected Democrats willing to step up and call out the constant horseshit from the Incompetent-in-Chief and his minions.
  7. And ... ?
  8. Yes. It does matter. Yes, Trump lies. And yes, his lies about "winning" are horse shit. The Nebraska farmer currently being screwed by Trump, on some level knows, he's being screwed by Trump. And whether you like it or not, we have to keep pointing out the lies and the bullshit. And yes, it is going to make a difference.
  9. All the indicators are showing the job creation, which Trump has already tanked over the last three months, will continue to fall for the balance of the year. Consumer confidence is at an almost all-time low, Nebraska is looking at billions of dollars of deficits due to Trump's war on American agriculture, and inflation continues to climb, unlike our former Western partners. Weak on the economy. Weak on foreign relations. Weak on promoting American interests both at home and overseas. He is a weak president.
  10. Trump is the weakest president the USA has ever had. Weak.
  11. How much is Murkowski going to regret her vote in favor of the Big Ugly Contract on America Bill, that will wind up closing hospitals across Alaska?
  12. Doug Ford is one of the more conservative right-wing Premiers in Canada. He's also, apparently, a loyal Canadian and been one of the most vocal critics of the bullshit from the Idiot-in-Chief in the White House. Ontario conservatives have an economy that is dependent on the good will of a free trade agreement that's been in place for 40+ years, and don't have the luxury of playing petty right-wing politics of the MAGA minions.
  13. Yes, yes, yes the Incompetent-in-Chief weak leader that we are currently stuck with, has the lowest approval levels in history, other than himself in his first term. However, with a rigged system even our Incompetent-in-Chief could manage a victory given we have affirmative action for able body white males. Even is the white male is orange. Even if the able bodied white male, can't walk the full length of a golf course. The extreme right-wing Supreme Court ushered in big money anonymous money into elections. The extreme right-wing Supreme Court gutted the Voters Rights Act allowing for this new era of gerrymandering. The extreme right-wing Supreme Court has ushered in an imperial presidency of an idiot NEPO baby. And 2026 looms large in the continuation of representative democracy in the USA.
  14. The Incompetent-in-Chief also hates Canada, probably, because they have been successful with creating a healthy, non-gun totting society, where multi-culturalism is celebrated and not criminalized. Also, Canada has lots of water. If the lakes were filled with Coke or Pepsi the Incompetent-in-Chief might not hate Canada as much. Canada's inflation fell to 1.7% in July, signaling at least two more interest rate cuts this year. Mortgage rates are just over 4% now. Canada is limiting tariffs on USA goods at the moment, because they don't want to increase taxes (aka tariffs) on Canadian consumers. I hope Nebraska will survive the Trump economic crisis being created in agriculture.
  15. Trump is afraid of every foreign leader. He is weak. Very weak.
  16. Trump is a weak leader. Has there ever been a weaker leader in the USA history? Carter negotiated a lasting peace between Egypt and Israel. Reagan managed to conclude summits with the Soviets where treaties to reduce nuclear weapons were signed. Clinton (mostly) kept us out of wars. Obama took out Bin Laden. Trump, has sucked the dicks of several dictators.
  17. Nevada and Florida, states that are more dependent on the tourism that the Incompetent-in-Chief has been driven away by his stupid trade war, are now Number 1 and Number 2 in mortgage defaults across the country. Almost 1 in every 2500 homes was in default in July. Large increase in defaults across the country from 2024. So much (fucking) winning
  18. Neo-conservative governments (Reagan/Thatcher/Pinochet) ushered in the era of massive government debts. And neo-conservative ideologs have always been the ones who have continued to drive governments into ever higher levels of debt (Mulroney/Harper in Canada, Johnson in Britain, Bush/Trump in the USA). They've never believe in small government debt levels, they have always believed in cutting taxes for the ultra-rich and fuck the government books.
  19. The next administration is going to have so much to clean up after these fuckwads are finished messing up with incompetence and bravado. Top of the agenda will have to be Supreme Court reform. These extremist who declare corporations are people, and that money is free speech sold the nation out to a bunch of billionaires who want to buy elections. Merrick Garland may have made a good Supreme Court Justice, he was way to timid as an Attorney General. The next (sane) Attorney General will have to be a pit bull for the rule of law, upholding the Constitution, and defending the right to vote and democracy from these MAGA extremists.
  20. The impacts aren't going to be felt immediately, and the brain drain that's happening because of the anti-science, anti-information, anti-fact agenda of the Incompetent-in-Chief and his minions, will definitely have a lasting negative impact on the American economy and society. We're in an information age, with an anti-education agenda. The policy pursued by the current federal government is to concentrate wealth amongst a few billionaires, and then those billionaires will buy out any upstarts to eliminate competition in the "free" market we have. There's nothing free about the oligarch economy in the USA promoted by MAGA.
  21. It'll be interesting to see if Virginia and New Jersey join the counter offensive on the GOP gerrymandering (GOP attempts to steal future elections) of Congressional maps, after the upcoming fall elections for Governors.
