Maybe I've missed it but I haven't heard elected Democrats crowing about a blue tsunami. Gains - yes. Optimism about a Senate majority - yes. Expectations of control of the House - yes. But not wild claims. Wild claims is still the purview of The Great Incompetent. I think the ring-wing extremist majority on the Supreme Court is more worried about the Democrats taking over the Senate, and judge appointments, than they are about the House of Representatives. I'm watching if there are shadow docket orders coming down that are particular about Senate issues.

My latest prediction - and it's not much of a prediction is that those tickets that cost $25,000 (not including hotel rooms) are going to be given away this week. Dumpapalooza is going to have a lot of empty seats. I miss the days when we could have a political discussion that was arguing about policies, and not arguing about reality. He also doesn't have the popular support to run as an independent. All we can hope for is that his leaving isn't a messy distraction for the GOP to blather on about.

Maybe all the garbage cans in Washington DC could have his face on them. Or a renewable energy windfarm. Or a prison cell block. Not the whole prison, just one of the cell blocks.

A huuuge GOP national convention for the mid-terms conceived and organized by The Great Incompetent. Melania is giving it a pass. Texas in September. So far very few GOP candidates have publicly indicated they will be attending. Under pressure I expect there will be a number who crawl into Dallas under the cover of darkness, kiss the ring and then beetle it out of town. I have a morbid curiosity about this latest Incompetent fiasco.

The question is whether the new Democratic controlled Congress and Senate will pass a bill "Stop Selling Favors Like Some 16th Century Pope" which will prevent the President from using his pardon power for his own enrichment.

In January 2029 one of the first orders of business should be to suspend The Great Incompetent's passport, so he can't flee to Slovenia to avoid justice, and seizing this plane. The plane should be auctioned off with the proceeds perhaps going towards settlement services for new immigrants.

Yes. But can you feel the magic surrounding Dallas, Texas as the excitement grows for the Dumpapalooza GOP Mid-term Convention. James Talarico is SUPER pumped to see The Great Incompetent in Texas. The Great Incompetent couldn't organize a piss-up in a brewery. The Great Incompetent is just such an embarrassment - to America, to men, to parents, to other thieves. It will be interesting to see who all boycotts - err has scheduling conflicts - for this mess of an event and what consequences there will be inflicted on them from this White House regime.
