I understand you, but you may be overthinking it. They tend to review shops which tend to be frequented by people on this forum such as Jey Spa and Phoenix. There are shops like BKK Signature that are mostly frequented by locals but that is due to geography, that it is outside of the main CBD, and not because there are subtle barriers for non-locals.

Why don’t you go and see for yourself and report back.

For full service (H) you would expect to pay on average around 1500. In the Saphan Khwai shops it is around 1100 to 1200 in minimum tips. In the silom shops that do full service, like Senso, it is 1800 minimum tips. In the higher end shops it is 2000++ You pay less for B2B. If you go for the rough trade you can expect to pay around 500-700. However, please use a condom and remember that herpes can spread via skin contact with infected areas outside of the condom. This is based on what locals report they pay via Line groups dedicated to this and not on what some farangs thinks prices should be. If you have what it takes then you can of course get things for free in the non-commercial market.

Allegation? That is a super interesting take. What do you wish to achieve here? You have a history of altercations with various forum members and have driven at least one thoughtful and interesting poster away from this forum, bkkmfj. You won’t drive me away. We have different opinions on a many things. That is fine, live and let live. Address any outstanding issues you have with me by DM.

A cheap shot. While I do not always agree with mauRICE, he has a depth to his opinions borne out of real experience on the ground that you often lack.

Not at all, I don’t give a flying rat fuck.

Good for you!

sorry, I am not particularly inclined to use this forum’s shoddy search function to satisfy your curiosity. Let us just say we have different opinions and leave it at that.

I am not the first to make it and I stand by my assessment. I know very well he’s not an old dude.

I stand by my assessment after reading his blog and his numerous contributions to this and another forum over the years. I follow numerous Thai Line review groups of massage, and know two of them in person, and do have a pretty good idea what prices the local middle class pay.

As you said yourself, there is nothing wrong with saving a few baht, especially if you’re broke.

I know, but I couldn’t help myself 🙂 . However, the forum is quite full of recommendations on venues to explore.

Hi boyjt and welcome to the forum For gays to explore in Bangkok you can open Grindr or Hornet, plenty of gays there. Nox is pretty new and far away from Silom and centre.. See if you can find some of their guys working in other and closer venues. Glam’s is a solid upmarket choice and guaranteed H. Good luck!

Guys, don’t take the bait. You know Christian gets a dominance boost out of pressing prices/tips as low as he can.

From what I hear on the grapevine, it depends on the masseur. Shino will not offer H, but you might have better luck with First or Babe.

You’re not wrong, you’re just operating in a different intellectual time zone.

See I can upload images easily:

I find it super interesting that you interpreted my post that way.

Yes, we might be comparing the prices of fresh peaches with those of old bitter lemons.

Do the guys who charge 700 B an hour in Bangkok look like the masseurs at «History of Massages»?

Yes it was at Urban Thai, very conveniently located near Le Meridien.

I had manicure and pedicure + waxing of the ears, that is removing those hairs that become numerous as you advance on your journey to become an octogenarian. I used to go to a different shop near Senso men club that also provided the Chinese style ear wax cleaning treatment as an add on to waxing. That lady sold her shop this year unfortunately so I can no longer avail myself of her services.

Ah those days, and Soi Twilight 🕯️

This is an H place and tip rates are all-inclusive of full service and rates are stated very clearly for each masseur on their Line feed. Indeed tip rates will vary for each individual but going from 1000-1200, up to 3000 B in some rare cases.

That he is called Jey at Glam’s does not change the fact that it is the same person working both places 🤷‍♂️ Time to go to Specsavers.
