I almost felt like I was there with me. Of course, I'd not have been able to keep up with your pace, but a man can dream.

This site has always been active. As usual with all sites, it ebbs and flows often. But, it has a great set of posters. The site name is great and it gets a lot of type in traffic. That is traffic that just comes to the site by typing in gaythailand.com One of the reasons people get good names is that the type in traffic often pays off. The site is not just a forum and there is another part that is profiles. That is also busy but more with Thai boys than with people who post in the forums. As far as bots, there are always things that sites can do to limit them. Nothing is surefire. But, this site requires that the first post from each new member be approved by a moderator in order to be visible. That seems to work well and easy for everyone and it keeps off the spammers for the most part.

Lurker is correct. The boys are often very light and since many are of German decent, many blond and blue. I also think it is mentioned so much as the sauna is amazing. It was built to be a sauna and it is very easy to use and do everything inside. A nice big open area for meeting and greeting and nice rooms upstairs. You and I must have read different stories. The report I read was the bathroom was locked and the pissed on the outside of the building. I have done that when I can't find a place to take a piss. As we learn more about what happened in this event, I feel bad for the swimmers. They fucked up for sure. But, they did not completely lie. The security at the gas station took their money at gunpoint. They were in fear for their life.

We don't know the story yet about the swimmers. But, if the manager of the gas station had his security pull a gun, IMHO, it is the same thing. I have been robbed at gun point 2 times in Brazil and another time by the Federal Police at a traffic stop during Carnival. I still go there as I love the place. But, I never reported the incidences to the police. Why? They are in on it!

Living in Thailand now, one of the things I would miss is the NBC powerpuff girls morning show (including Al Roker) talking about the Olympics. But, with USTVNOW, I can record the entire Olympics day and watch it at my leisure without staying up all night. I have found that the torrent sites suck since KickAss went down and I have yet to find as good of a replacement. But, I love USTV. It is 30 USD per month and totally worth it IMHO. I have a Roku and it is set with my account and I watch on my Roku each day. They offer a free month if you have never tried it and the Olympics are something you can't get on torrents.

When you find a guy you like, go to the hospital with him and both of you get tested. This is cheap in LOS and it will alleviate many of your worries.

I do! And, the same for Thailand. I just believe that people who like sexy boys should visit both places at least once to see the offerings. I can't tell you how many guys I have brought to Thailand who didn't want to come because "they weren't into Asians" but once they visited, the loved Thai guys and have come back again and again. The same in true for Brazil. I just love any place where you can find sexy guys who are willing to spend time with old men!

Yes, that hotel is like the Welcome Plaza of Rio. LOL I stay at the Marriott. The rates can be from insane to wildly insane. I stayed at The Intercontinental Hotel for years but that changed brands. Hotels are just expensive in Rio and thus why so many do Airbnb

I'll say again, I love Brazil and I love Thailand. I never understand why someone must choose one or the other. Both are amazing. if i were into top muscle, well, Brazil is unbeatable. If I were into skinny fem boys, well, Thailand is unbeatable. I like twinks and have had luck in both places with them. Unlike Firecat, I don't mind spending more than a little time in a sauna looking for them. Firecat likes the apps to find guys. I hate them. I never get what I want or think I'm getting. I hate when a guy puts a photo that looks muscular and shows up in bikinis and fem. That is why I like to see the boys first. I need to see them and the saunas allow for that. And, there are tons of twinks in Brazil. Not all at the sauna but the parks are full of them and the gay clubs are full of them. Sober at 3AM alone in Soi Twilight or Ipanema, yes I'd feel OK. In areas that are further away from the mainstream, no I would not feel safe in either area. I remember walking around the park around the palace a few years back. It was late and I was alone and I did not feel safe with everyone I came into contact with. So, the next time, I took a friend.

Safety? I feel safe in Thailand. But, I don't go out drunk roaming the streets at 3AM. I feel safe in Brazil but I don't go out roaming into an area I don't know in the middle of the night. I lived in NYC in the 90's and it was pretty rough. I felt safe but I knew where to go and where not to go. For every place, there is a set of things you do to protect yourself. I try to do them. For boys, I have never felt unsafe in Brazil as the vast majority I meet in the saunas. I have taken some from the streets in the past with great success but I'll be the first to admit it was stupid. As Firecat will tell you, I've also wanted into a flavela or two looking for a special boy and again, that was stupid but I always came out on top (well, Marco came out on top when I found him but that is another story). I love the boys in Brazil and yes I do find twinks. I do not find a lot of very feminine twinks. But, there are some there. But, even the very masculine boys who you meet at the sauna will tell you first they are activo only and then when you tell them you are as well, they will say, "OK. I can be passivo." In all honest, I find the sex in Brazil 100 times more passionate and rocking than I do in Thailand. But, in Thailand I find the boys I want to stay with for years.
