  1. It is official. The beloved King of Thailand has died. The Royal Household Bureau announced.
  2. Wow. Sad. But, not unexpected. They do great at Meio Mundo. I hope they keep that up!
  3. Timeless is another interesting SciFi show. It is about a group that can travel in time. Not sure the full plot of things yet but the pilot was just OK.
  4. BigK, I think you are right. So far, Designated Survivor is still leading the pack for me. Every time my Thai BF sees the actor he says, "Jack Bauer to save the world?" I say, "Yes."
  5. Another option is Conviction. It is not getting rave reviews but I liked the main actress and I think the show has a chance to be good. I also liked the sexy Latin guy holding hands with another dude !
  6. Westworld also looks like a lot of fun. Anthony Hopkins leads an all star case. The story is is by J.J. Abrams. Westworld is an amusement park for rich folks. The hosts are robotic "hosts" -- allows its visitors to live out their fantasies through artificial consciousness. The fantasies are often quite hardcore. I found the first episode enjoyable, a bit odd and perhaps great potential. The cast with Hopkins and Ed Harris is surely just one reason to give it a try!
  7. Speechless is a lot of fun as well. Minnie Driver as Maya DiMeo, the mother, is great. She is so fun to watch. The story is about a family that is a bit quirky and the oldest son has Cerebral Palsy. The cast works well together and I have enjoyed it.
  8. I would agree that it is the best in South America! http://riotimesonline.com/brazil-news/rio-travel/rio-voted-south-americas-best-lgbt-beach-destination/#
  9. I believe I wrote back last year how much I enjoyed Istanbul. I had a blast there and the gay apps were great. I had lots of sex but most for free. Some would propose money for modest amounts and that was OK for me as well. Just read this article on the changing escort scene in Turkey and found it fascinating. http://www.al-monitor.com/pulse/originals/2016/09/turkey-changing-face-of-sex-industry-services.html
  10. Although this article is mostly about non-gay strippers, I found it very interesting to read! http://www.vice.com/en_ca/read/we-talked-to-montreals-male-strippers-about-their-female-clients-and-druggy-co-workers
  11. The new James Franco movie with Christian Slater about the underworld of gay porn back many years ago is now got a full trailer. If you remember the story, this was a murder mystery based on real people. I know many of them in a former life when I was in NYC. The movie looks interesting. Can't wait to see it.
  12. Having know many of these guys in a past life, this movie looks interesting.
  13. LOL They don't remember the name of the place!
  14. I had friends that went to these fish farms and caught enormously large fish. It was a great photo op. Does anyone have one outside of Bangkok they can recommend?
  15. BigK, I enjoyed it as well. In fact, when I was watching it, my BF said, "Is Jack Bauer back?" I said no, he was not the President. LOL
  16. A bit more off topic. In Brazil, I had a boy staying with me who was very possessive even thought we had 3 ways and 4 ways daily. But, we were at a disco and dancing and this cute guy comes over to me to dance with me. My boy hauls off and starts to beat him. He felt like the boy was invading his territory. It was so sad. And, hot. I think we fucked in the bathroom of the disco 20 min later. And, at the hotel that night. Needless to say, some boys can be possessive when they feel their bread winner might be snapped away.
  17. I have been lucky in that regard. But, I think part of my success is giving boys the freedom to be with me and have their own life. Most farangs want boys to only be with them and make them their life. I have never done that and both of my boys (over 12 years) have LTR with ladies. I have met them, hung out with them and support them. It doesn't work for everyone but for me it works well. There are tons of boys out there. They are looking for good farangs who do not want to change them. Love them and they will love you in return. But, love them without expecting them to change.
  18. Better Things (TV series) is a new show that I am enjoying. I like it a lot. I think pretty clever and also funny. I like the musical scores as well.
  19. I disagree totally. Some have the drive. Some don't. But, there are many reasons that they don't or have not leaned to speak English. We can't lump them all into the same category. Much like they can't say, "don't invest too much emotion in a farang. They don't have the desire for love." Again, both things are said but not true in many cases. I have been very successful in getting Thai boys to speak English. And, many still work in Pattaya and are very popular in the bar scene. You are most welcome Pattaya Farangs! IMHO, an investment into the right Thai boy can enhance both lives! And, if not an amount that is going to kill you, it is often more successful than playing blackjack in a casino.
  20. We not not tolerate behavior in which members call names and act disrespectfully to others. When this happens, we will suspend for 90 days or ban. We may also ban others with the same IP, just to be sure. In case anyone wonders, if we find a member using multiple screen names, we ban then all.
  21. Yes, I saw it in NYC 20 years ago. It was a hoot! A bit silly but funny as hell.
  22. Speaking English is a business decision for the boys. It is a good one for them and to help them to advance this helps their life and your life. I agree that I should learn to speak theirs. But, I can't. I'm dumb that way. But, I have tried. I had a boy in Brazil for many years that I truly adored. I met him when he was 18. He just turned 18 and started working at a sauna the week I met him. He spoke great English. I was a bit shocked. I asked him about this and he told me that he started working in a bookstore when he was 15 and used all his money to learn English. Why? He said he knew his only way out of the Flavela was to learn English and work in the sauna. It worked great for him. When I was in Brazil, he was with me 24/7. I had a better time with him than just about anyone. But, when away, he never asked for money other than going to school. He wanted to learn German and French and another language. He did. He then moved to Switzerland and worked in a sauna there making much more money. His languages opened up his life. For most of us, the cost of a school is very little money and totally worth the chance to help a guy you really like. I say go for it!
  23. My boys are with me now full-time but back when they were in AUA over 10 years ago, I was not in the country full-time. But, their continued payments were contingent on their attendance. No way to know for sure, but they had certificates from each class and I went to talk to teachers several times.
