Politics is often a very hot topic issue. It gets many upset. I have friends who are Republican and will never be anything else. They can't see what I see in the Democratic party and I don't see what they see in the Republican Party. Like Willie, I do not understand why any gay person would our could support a party that hates them. For me, it is that simple. Their platform is anti-gay. They may cheer a speaker who is gay but privately, they want to regulate what he says and does. I find the platform they have put forward as moving American back 50 years. Of course, that is their intent.

I guess I am that sleazy foreigner but when I get the sense that someone is gay and approachable, I'll ask or just suggest they come to my place for a beer. In Brazil, they know what this means and it has worked for me quite a bit with waiters and bartenders, etc. In USA, I'll just hint and if they take the hint, I'm OK with asking. A great deal has to do with how your second sense is to these things. Having worked in the adult industry, you tend to develop a nature sense of these things. I have never once felt someone was insulted. In fact, in NYC, many years ago, one of my regulars was a guy who worked at a local art gallery. I was buying some art and he knew I liked him and basically said it was OK to approach him. I did and saw him well over 100 times over the years.

I have had sexy boy hotel staff in Bangkok, Pattaya and Hua Hin. All in very nice hotels and I know they made great money. Plus, one old 80 year woman in Issan (longer story). Just make them a deal they can't refuse!

I loved her speech and there was a massive difference in tone between the 2 USA conventions. I'd be curious to see what American living abroad think.

I have lost several BF's over their constant giving to mama. Some allowed their son to live on the streets his entire life until he met me and then all the sudden, she was back in his life and wanted money. I got upset over the stupidity of this. I have learned that it is not in my control and I just let it be. A few years back, the BF had saved up enough money to buy a car (downpayment) and I was giving half. When mama found out, she wanted his money and he gave to her. He lost a great chance for a new car and she never felt any regret as she wanted what she wanted. That is the way it goes!

Well, I didn't say you were a liar or an idiot. What I disagree with is the use of common. But, hey, some people don't travel on airplanes because airplane crashes into volcano are common. My posts were certainly not mean to insult or demean you. You have reasons. Only you know the reasons are. But, if you believe the shit storms are common, then I guess I'll just have to say we agree to disagree.

I never said you were a liar. I said your logic was faulty and that by not participating based a very few issues, is silly. There is a difference between that and calling you a liar. I believe that so many people get their panties in a wad over little things on the Internet. It happens a great deal. I have seen it 1,000 times. I rarely get upset over things but I have a very high tolerance level. Others are very thin skinned and participating for them is very difficult. I totally accept that others have issues with the moderation of this site and I fully accept that some want the hammer to come down hard when it is something they want to control. But, I have also found that for every time a discussion is stopped or halted based on a poster getting tired of it and upset that 100 more complaints will fast ensue. I believe that as adults we can all choose what our tolerance level is and then pass by topics that are of no interest to us. Specifically for you sir, I was only saying that if you find a topic that has a shitstorm you don't like, you just avoid that thread. It is pretty simple. IMHO. Perhaps, I am wrong and others can point out why my thinking is wrong. But, there are threads I don't like and once read, I just ignore them in the future. That is easy for me. I would never let myself get upset by a thread and then go back over and over to watch something I have no interest in at all. That is a true waste of my time. But, to avoid a site that has great information on it simply to avoid a few things one finds distasteful is pretty petty IMHO.

It was a good idea at the time. Then, the perfect wave seem to strike. Shit started happening left and right. It was a bit insane. The economy collapsed. The government collapsed. I hope they are able to pull this off but I doubt they can overcome all the obstacles they are faced with. I think this has caused many countries to pause in their plans to bid for an Olympics.

If you don't post here based on a few shit storms over the years, while the VAST majority of all threads are great and drama free, I'd say you are not posting for another reason. I don't know what that is. But, if you don't fly based on the same logic of airplanes crashing, then I understand. Otherwise, I'd say you are making a mountain out of a molehill.

Interesting analysis. Thanks for the link! I hope that all he is doing is trying to drive the narrative. But, I remember him calling Trump the winner a year ago (for the nomination). Moore is not a Hillary supporter (but will vote for her) and saying that says a lot about him. There are many that are more liberal than he is and they will refuse. Just my opinion and I hope I am wrong. I have been for Hillary since day1. I love her. I have always loved her. LOL But, I just did not like this pick. I'll get use to it, much like I did the taste of sperm. It is an acquired taste and I had to gag the first few times it hit the back of my throat. But, I keep working at it.
