I finally heard back from Garmin. They said 8GB is all the SD card they will take. I used a 16GB. I'll see if this makes a difference.

Nice. I have never seen this.

So, I guess the general consensus is to carry less? So, I guess I should not consider a bike that folds in half to make it easier to pack?

I was recently traveling and I knew one place I was going needed the latest Garmin maps. I have a 5inch Garmin with Lifetime Updates so I plugged it into the computer and started the updates. After installing every Garmin software possible to try to get the latest updates, I could not get them to work. I did it 10 times over the course of 2 days and nothing. I had to leave the next AM and I just asked Siri: "Siri, take me to address." Siri did it perfectly and I plugged my IPhone into the charger on the car and off I went. 10 hours later, Siri never went down, gave me perfect directions and guided me the entire way. Thank you Siri! Anyone else use their Iphone this way?

I hired guides my first few trips to Brazil and it was great. I really needed it. I still like it and often hire one in Sao Paulo. I would suggest hiring one for your first day or two and getting into the saunas and finding someone who speaks great English and offering them a job they can't refuse.

My dear, it is hard to be a princess when you are already a queen. TY, I normally don't travel with that much but I wanted to be sure I had a lot of stuff in Thailand that I like to use like my Nespresso machine, pressure cooker, iron skillets, etc. You know, things that just have to be used once every blue moon.

Very very creative.

The amazing Harry Shum, Jr. choreographed this piece to the voice over.

LOL Sad but true! My last trip to Thailand had me taking 11 bags with me. And, these 3 new toys are added to the collection of all the other shit I "must" have with me on a trip. The crazy thing I travel with is a full office set high speed scanner, printer, etc. Insanity? Yes. But, it makes me Happy. Happy. Happy.

I love travel and I love being comfortable. There are several things that I take with me everywhere. I'll try to list many out but here are some I found in 2014 to make travel easy and comfortable and they all have 110-240 adaptors. I am spending it with a bunch of church going Christians who don't drink and don't party and don't judge me for my livelihood. Odd fucking New Year's ey?

I had a very productive year in 2013. No complaints at all. The year ends with me helping take care of an elderly family member for a prolonged amount of time. I never really thought I'd be back in Alabama for more than a week at a time but it looks like I'll be spending more time in the deep south this year than I did since I left when I was 18. Business wise, I am looking forward to 2014. I have some fun things in store.

Fabulous! Thanks.

New Mexico and Utah, welcome to the 21st Century. Happy. Happy. Happy.

The old man is a preacher for the Church of Christ. It is a church that is even more conservative than the Baptist Church. His sons actually went to college at a Church of Christ school. I did as well. Let me tell you, it was the same ideology that has been spewed from the pulpits for 50 years. I am not condoning the old fucker. I am just saying that he is not unique in the South among people his age. And, he is not unique with the people who he worships with 3 times every week. Just saying....
