  2. We always rented a motorcycle when we are there so it was easy for us to get around anywhere. I didn't like it as the Sheraton either. I guess I like it now as every time I stay there they upgrade me to a massive 1 bedroom with huge living room overlooking river. I enjoyed it.
  3. You are right there. I have not figured out how to solve this and see make the last forum comments visible to all members. Unfortunately, it is very necessary to have them here in order to allow comments, info, input and keep them up to date. There is really no other way for me to get great feedback on the establishments. For example, yesterday both Lurker and MarcAnthony gave me 10 more listings for Montreal that I will add. I am hoping that others will also contribute in other cites and help make the database really amazing. Yes, it was added here to allow for comments, etc. It is in two different places as many that use the forums do not use the front end and vice versa. I agree this name needs to be changed and will be. The initial forum is set to be Gay Guides but I am open to change. It will also be at the bottom of the page beneath the main forums. I realize it will be a long page, but in the end, I think that resources from 100 cities around the world with gay data and info will be very useful for many. I hope I have answered your questions OK guys. If not, please ask more. I love getting input, advice and comments.
  4. It was originally in North America Forum.
  5. Great deal if you are looking for this! The list of hotels is pretty extensive but most of the stays are for the weekend. But, if you are traveling, it might be a great savings. I have stayed at the one in Chiang Mai several times and really enjoyed it. Not a great breakfast but not horrible. Rooms decent. Use to be the Sheraton I believe. https://www.ihg.com/rewardsclub/us/en/redeem/details/hotel/last-minute-reward-nights/CNXCM
  6. Lets just see if they get him to clarify this and say that we are all going to hell anyway. Yes, I do see this pope as different than the ones before. But, I have watched too much The Borgias to not know what is coming next if he keeps up rocking the boat.
  7. I have never really thought of it this way. I may have to start liberating more of them as well.
  8. Be careful when you knock. You never know what you may get into.
  9. So sorry Lucky but I had to move this thread. I didn't realize that posting in the North America Forum was possible. And, the more I looked at it, users are not able to see the last posting in the cities, so I mad e some admin changes to the way it is positioned on the site.
  10. Thank you very much! I greatly appreciate your comments! Please do post about your trip and give us some more up to date info on this great city! Montreal holds a dear place in my heart and if the dollar hadn't plummeted, I might have been calling myself a Quebecois.
  11. One Direction singer Harry Styles has addressed rumours hes more than just friends with Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw, claiming in a new interview that the pair are not dating and that he doesnt think hes bisexual. Speaking to GQ magazine, the 19-year-old star appeared to be in the dark about the gossip. I didnt even know, Styles said. Were not dating, no. Were just friends. When questioned directly about his sexuality, Styles responded: Bisexual? Me? I dont think so Im pretty sure Im not. While Styles insisted he didnt want to moan about the speculation around his personal life, he did admit it could sometimes ruin relationships. http://www.pinknews.co.uk/2013/07/30/harry-styles-im-pretty-sure-im-not-bisexual/
  12. I hope you do share your trip with us. When I was the owner of an escort agency in NYC, I posted on Hoo's website and most of my reports were about Montreal. I loved visiting there and meeting up with Marc Anthony, TY and Firecat, KYTop and others. It was great to have people who enjoyed the same thing I did. My first trip to Brazil was at the bequest of Hooboy himself and we sent 3 weeks with him in the same hotel in Sao Paulo and then we headed to Rio for a few weeks. Again, Hooboy made the trip fun and never boring. My first trip to Thailand was over 10 years ago and I feel in love with the people and the country. Had I not visited Thailand, the vast amount of my time would be in Montreal or Brazil most likely. But, like you Lurker, I like sharing with others and I like the boys that work in the bars and saunas to get work.
  13. I like Ken Follett's writing as well.
  14. OK. I don't know how it got out that we were engaged. I am sorry that I was not the first one to tell you guys here. You will all be invited to our wedding.
  15. Thank you my dear! Thanks. Never never worry about me taking something personally when you are giving advice or making comments. They are always greatly appreciated. The reason for the word gay in them is simple: SEO I want the search engines to read the site as a gay friendly site and let users out there who don't know about the site read up on the site this way. With carefully used keywords, this puts us in search engines in a different way that will bring the right readers to the site. As for the forums, so far we have nearly 90 cities written and many of them researched. Each city has from 40-60 different listings. As opposed to getting them all bogged down in a few forums, I put them in sub forums to make them easier to find. For example, if you want to visit Chicago, we will have a forum for that city and you just click it and everything is organized in that area for you to view. That does not mean that every topic about Chicago is in there. The sub forums are mostly for listings of businesses and places of interest to those that travel. Not sure if I explained myself well or now. But, what are you thoughts?
  16. Pope Francis on Monday said who am I to judge? gay people as he discussed one of the most divisive issues affecting the Catholic Church. Pope Francis, who gave a press conference on his flight back from Brazil, said he had stayed away from the gay marriage debate on his trip because he wanted to stay positive. I have yet to find anyone who has a business card that says he is gay, the pontiff said at a press conference in which he addressed the reports of a "gay lobby" within the Vatican. They say they exist. If someone is gay, who searches for the Lord and has goodwill, who am I to judge? he added. "The Catechism of the Catholic Church explains this very well. It says they should not be marginalized because of this (orientation) but that they must be integrated into society." Francis added that he thought lobbies of any kind -- including political ones -- were bad. http://worldnews.nbcnews.com/_news/2013/07/29/19751976-pope-who-am-i-to-judge-gay-people?cid=social10231474&lite
  17. We have started to work on the City Guides a great deal more. We will be rolling out each city with updated information in the next several weeks/months. It is a time consuming process as the research along takes a long time. However, we have many cities completed and it is time to start bring this section of the site live. It is our goal to have BoyToy server as your one stop place for gay information around the world. (big goal I know) http://gaymontreal.boytoy.com/index.php?mdf=city_guide&gCityID=28 We have also added Montreal as a subforum to a new area called North America. Check out the forum as we have lots of great info there. Hopefully, others have know the area better than I will make comments, additions, etc. Any new businesses that are listed in that forum, will be added to the master list and to the front end City Guide area.
  18. The 16th World Bodypainting Festival held earlier this month in Poertschach am Woerthersee, Austria, included artists from 45 nationalities and every continent drawing 29,000 visitors to the Mecca of Bodypainting, according to the World Bodypainting Association. Take a look at some amazing photos on the site: http://designyoutrust.com/2013/07/the-16th-world-bodypainting-festival/
  19. Nothing at all has changed in our software or code this month. Have you ever tried to use the IPB App to access the site or do you only use Safari?
  20. Washboard Cajun and Eric the banjo man jam out on the classic "Wipe Out" is like nothing you've ever seen before!!
  21. Most members ever online in one day was 70, last accomplished on 25 Jul 2013. Congrats to all. I see that many of the new threads have a lot of views but with 70 logged in members that is great news.
  22. It works fine for me as well. I have no issues at all. There were issues before on the homepage but those seem to have cleared up now as well.
  23. Wow. Very impressive!
  24. Totally agree Lucky. I read and loved Gone with the Wind as a child and fell in love with Margret Mitchell. And, my favorite book of all time is Ulysses and many people hate it.
