I am not for the death penalty as it is being used. Currently, only those states like Texas executes with high numbers and I would not want my fate in the hands of anyone from there (except 4Aces). However, I am for anyone who is sentenced to life in prison being able to apply for death instead. I would much prefer to die then to live my entire life in a prison and I think the state would much prefer to save the money.

MBK in Bangkok: A Day in Photos For those that need a cell phone repair or a new phone, the place to go in Pattaya is Tuk Com but the place to go in Bangkok is MBK. They have a massive section for cell phone sales, repair, etc. However, every time we tried to take out our cameras, we were asked to put them away. LOL I guess they didn't want photos of all the knock offs? MBK is also a mall with a ton of stores and places to eat. It also has a movie theater. MBK is often the place where my boys say they want to shop when they have some money to spend on clothes. Siam Paragon is for high end shoppers and I can't afford most of the stores there but I love the food court. However, MBK is much more affordable and many Thai's love shopping there. I like the movie theater there and have seen my fair share of movies at MBK. I don't like their food court as much as most other malls in this area but the boys like it as it has a lot of Thai food. All in all, MBK is a fun experience if you have not been there.

I have been around guys who did drugs for years. Most of them use cocaine or E or other party drugs. I do not and have never participated in any of them even once (notice I left weed out of that as I don't think it is in the same category). However, in all my travels I have never met someone who did Heroine. Not once. I really thought this was a thing of the past and when this death occurred, I was stunned. I still am.

Reminds me when I had relatives in town when I lived in NYC and I would always go to one of 2 TKTS booths. One was in the world trade center and it would give you matinee tickets for the next day shows and not just same day tickets. As I really wanted my aunt and cousin to go to see a few more shows on their visit, I made my plans to get them some good seats by getting up early and heading down there. Luckily for me, I overslept and when I woke up, my phone was beeping with hundreds of messages. That was September 11, many years ago and I have not been so anxious to wake up early ever since. For me, the TKTS booths were used on a regular basis as I lived in the middle of Times Square and I loved Broadway. I was also lucky enough to have many people in my building be part of shows and got to see hundreds for free over the years and even attended the Tony Awards 3 times (great time minus the tux). However, the most fun to see the shows was went Rent actually sold the first 34 seats to the first 17 people in line and I would sleep out all night in order to get the seats for the next day. They were front row seats and the group of us smelled horrible but living so close to home, we always had some tourists to go back to our place and shower and eat. Usually at least 10-20 of them did that and it was fun to get to know others who were insane as the BF and I to see the best musical on Broadway at the time. I was lucky enough to see it at least 50 times over the years and dated a few of the cast members later in life. Locals do get some good deals as they know what to do and where to go and I never begrudge anyone for knowing their city.

I had breakfast at the Plaza Athenee Bangkok, A Royal Meridien Hotel. It is located at: 61 Wireless Road Bangkok, Thailand It is on the same road and not too far from the USA Embassy. Their Sunday Brunch Buffet's are famous but I wanted to try their breakfast buffet as I had a friend staying there and was invited over. The spread of food was great. It served a bit of everything from a great omelet station, a noodle station, waffles, pancakes, pastries, Thai, Asian and Japanese soups and entrees, fruits, cereals, yogurts, etc. I love American style bacon and they had plenty of it. They has a wide variety of drinks but I loved their smoothie shots of chocolate and strawberry protein. Breakfast was at the Rain Tree Café on the ground floor served between 5:30-10:30 AM. I met my friend around 7AM as he has a business meeting. His breakfast did not come with his room but he had a Le Meridan Card that got us 50% off the cost of the food. The regular price must have been around 900 baht each as the final for two of us was 950 baht after the discount. He said he purchased the card for around 8k baht and got several free hotel nights in Bangkok as well as discounts all year. I have not looked into the card but if it is also good for The W, I may have to check it out.

A good friend of mine once owned an escort agency in NYC and he always gave discounts to clients under 25. The feeling was that the boys would enjoy it more. However, when the boys started to complain about the discount it was discontinued. The reason: the escorts said that the younger guys were more demanding sexually than a 65 and up and they much preferred less effort and more money. I do not get upset with senior discount in USA. But, I have asked in LA for years for surcharges to be placed on all female Korean drivers as all of the suck behind the wheels of a car. I remember negotiating for discounts for my school and the local area businesses gave us 10-20 percent if we showed our ID card. Is that the same? Lastly, when I ran a club night in NYC many years ago, I always let in the cute young guys for free. The reason was the older or uglier guys would come more often and spend more money. Sad, but true. And, I had about 50 guys that has an unlimited access to any club night I promoted. They all came and thus the crowds were great as well.

One of the things to do in the daytime in Bangkok is to go to the mall. There are several malls to go to but we always enjoy our time in Siam Paragon. Siam Paragon is HUGE! All size queens should love this mall. It has just about everything you could possible want. In Thailand, when kids in high school get out of school, many head to the malls. Also, this mall is right next to several Universities and several go there to study, meet friends and just hang out in a cool place. First, in order to get to the mall you can take public transportation or taxis. There are good things and bad things about both. For the Skytrain, it is very easy to get around anywhere that there is a skyway stop. Signs are in English and easy to read and understand. Once you buy you ticket once, you will find it a breeze the rest of the time. When you take a taxi in Bangkok during the day, be prepared for traffic. It is a true PITA to get around the city at times but that also depends on where you travel and if you know the times of the day the main traffic hits. Of course, you can always take a motorcycle taxi which is always ready to get you there faster and get out in front of the traffic. Even the animals are often excited to get to the mall. Once at Siam Paragon, you have many choices of things to do. There is a massive food court. I love the giant aquariums that you can beside. There are tons of great stores. There are places to view and buy luxury cars. There is a great bookstore that has English books but also every other language. There is a massive IMax Movie Theater with seats that are amazing and that have regular theaters and VIP theaters as well as IMax. Always you can find something for HitoallUSA as his BF is everywhere! Naturally, there is also just people watching.

LOL I have never in my entire life been so insulted. I would never go to a gogo bar to look for convict boys. I usually go to prisons for that. But, I agree with Firecat's assessment of the bars. For me, Heartbeat offered nothing and Super A was not good last night either. The infamous Nature Boys was also lacking in my mind so I guess we got 0 for 3 last night. However, it was good to see Firecat on this trip and I wish him well until he returns. It takes a lot to get me out on a weekday night but enjoy meeting up with good people like Firecat.
