  1. Reminds me when I had relatives in town when I lived in NYC and I would always go to one of 2 TKTS booths. One was in the world trade center and it would give you matinee tickets for the next day shows and not just same day tickets. As I really wanted my aunt and cousin to go to see a few more shows on their visit, I made my plans to get them some good seats by getting up early and heading down there. Luckily for me, I overslept and when I woke up, my phone was beeping with hundreds of messages. That was September 11, many years ago and I have not been so anxious to wake up early ever since. For me, the TKTS booths were used on a regular basis as I lived in the middle of Times Square and I loved Broadway. I was also lucky enough to have many people in my building be part of shows and got to see hundreds for free over the years and even attended the Tony Awards 3 times (great time minus the tux). However, the most fun to see the shows was went Rent actually sold the first 34 seats to the first 17 people in line and I would sleep out all night in order to get the seats for the next day. They were front row seats and the group of us smelled horrible but living so close to home, we always had some tourists to go back to our place and shower and eat. Usually at least 10-20 of them did that and it was fun to get to know others who were insane as the BF and I to see the best musical on Broadway at the time. I was lucky enough to see it at least 50 times over the years and dated a few of the cast members later in life. Locals do get some good deals as they know what to do and where to go and I never begrudge anyone for knowing their city.
  2. For those that need a cell phone repair or a new phone, the place to go in Pattaya is Tuk Com but the place to go in Bangkok is MBK. They have a massive section for cell phone sales, repair, etc. However, every time we tried to take out our cameras, we were asked to put them away. LOL I guess they didn't want photos of all the knock offs? MBK is also a mall with a ton of stores and places to eat. It also has a movie theater. MBK is often the place where my boys say they want to shop when they have some money to spend on clothes. Siam Paragon is for high end shoppers and I can't afford most of the stores there but I love the food court. However, MBK is much more affordable and many Thai's love shopping there. I like the movie theater there and have seen my fair share of movies at MBK. I don't like their food court as much as most other malls in this area but the boys like it as it has a lot of Thai food. All in all, MBK is a fun experience if you have not been there.
  3. I had breakfast at the Plaza Athenee Bangkok, A Royal Meridien Hotel. It is located at: 61 Wireless Road Bangkok, Thailand It is on the same road and not too far from the USA Embassy. Their Sunday Brunch Buffet's are famous but I wanted to try their breakfast buffet as I had a friend staying there and was invited over. The spread of food was great. It served a bit of everything from a great omelet station, a noodle station, waffles, pancakes, pastries, Thai, Asian and Japanese soups and entrees, fruits, cereals, yogurts, etc. I love American style bacon and they had plenty of it. They has a wide variety of drinks but I loved their smoothie shots of chocolate and strawberry protein. Breakfast was at the Rain Tree Café on the ground floor served between 5:30-10:30 AM. I met my friend around 7AM as he has a business meeting. His breakfast did not come with his room but he had a Le Meridan Card that got us 50% off the cost of the food. The regular price must have been around 900 baht each as the final for two of us was 950 baht after the discount. He said he purchased the card for around 8k baht and got several free hotel nights in Bangkok as well as discounts all year. I have not looked into the card but if it is also good for The W, I may have to check it out.
  4. LONDON (The Borowitz Report)—Moments after approving a new law legalizing gay marriage in England and Wales, Queen Elizabeth II of Britain unleashed a blistering attack on New Jersey Governor Chris Christie for “lacking the guts” to do the same. The British monarch’s brutal evisceration of Gov. Christie stunned observers, who did not know that she was such a close follower of his gay-marriage stance. “I don’t like to badmouth people,” she said. “But I’m the head of a monarchy that began in the ninth century, and I’m apparently more modern than Chris Christie.” After shocking observers with her opening salvo, she continued to tear Gov. Christie to shreds. “Look, I know he has to appeal to the crazy right wingers in his party,” she added. “But the fact is, he’s not as forward-thinking as an eighty-seven-year-old lady who wears a crown on her head. It’s pathetic.” Asked if she had advice for Gov. Christie, the British monarch said, bluntly, “Just sign the damn bill, Chris.” Responding to a reporter’s question about the upcoming royal birth, Elizabeth replied, “Tell you the truth? I’m just glad the kid’s not being born in New Jersey.” http://www.newyorker.com/online/blogs/borowitzreport/2013/07/queen-elizabeth-rips-chris-christie-on-gay-marriage.html PS The title of his blog is News un Shuffled. But, hell, it is funny isn't it?

  6. A good friend of mine once owned an escort agency in NYC and he always gave discounts to clients under 25. The feeling was that the boys would enjoy it more. However, when the boys started to complain about the discount it was discontinued. The reason: the escorts said that the younger guys were more demanding sexually than a 65 and up and they much preferred less effort and more money. I do not get upset with senior discount in USA. But, I have asked in LA for years for surcharges to be placed on all female Korean drivers as all of the suck behind the wheels of a car. I remember negotiating for discounts for my school and the local area businesses gave us 10-20 percent if we showed our ID card. Is that the same? Lastly, when I ran a club night in NYC many years ago, I always let in the cute young guys for free. The reason was the older or uglier guys would come more often and spend more money. Sad, but true. And, I had about 50 guys that has an unlimited access to any club night I promoted. They all came and thus the crowds were great as well.
  7. Beautiful! Stunning! Thank you for sharing!
  8. One of the things to do in the daytime in Bangkok is to go to the mall. There are several malls to go to but we always enjoy our time in Siam Paragon. Siam Paragon is HUGE! All size queens should love this mall. It has just about everything you could possible want. In Thailand, when kids in high school get out of school, many head to the malls. Also, this mall is right next to several Universities and several go there to study, meet friends and just hang out in a cool place. First, in order to get to the mall you can take public transportation or taxis. There are good things and bad things about both. For the Skytrain, it is very easy to get around anywhere that there is a skyway stop. Signs are in English and easy to read and understand. Once you buy you ticket once, you will find it a breeze the rest of the time. When you take a taxi in Bangkok during the day, be prepared for traffic. It is a true PITA to get around the city at times but that also depends on where you travel and if you know the times of the day the main traffic hits. Of course, you can always take a motorcycle taxi which is always ready to get you there faster and get out in front of the traffic. Even the animals are often excited to get to the mall. Once at Siam Paragon, you have many choices of things to do. There is a massive food court. I love the giant aquariums that you can beside. There are tons of great stores. There are places to view and buy luxury cars. There is a great bookstore that has English books but also every other language. There is a massive IMax Movie Theater with seats that are amazing and that have regular theaters and VIP theaters as well as IMax. Always you can find something for HitoallUSA as his BF is everywhere! Naturally, there is also just people watching.

  10. I found this article on Forbes and thought some of you might like it. The recent protests in Brazil that have caused Dilma Rousseffs approval rate to drop by 27% in less than three weeks, which started as a local protest against public transport fare increase in São Paulo. As São Paulo continues to be at the epicenter of Brazils massive protests, the city has been making international headlines daily . Therefore, it is a good time to increase your knowledge about Brazils largest city. Here is all you need to know about São Paulo: São Paulo is both the name of a state, as well as, a city. Those born in the city of São Paulo are called Paulistanos. Those born in the state of São Paulo but, not in its capital, are called Paulistas. To illustrate, there are three Paulistanos soccer teams in the first division of the national league: Portuguesa, São Paulo and Corinthians, which is the only billionaire soccer club in Brazil. Accordingly, there are two Paulistas soccer teams in Brazils Serie A: Ponte Preta and Santos FC. São Paulo state has 645 municipalities and a population of approximately 40 million inhabitants. According to IBGE, Brazils main government research institute, the population in the city of São Paulo is about 11 million inhabitants. If we take into account the metropolitan area, which includes 38 smaller cities around the capital, the population is almost 19,000,000 inhabitants. In Brazil, 81.3% of the population lives in urban areas even though the amazon rainforest covers up to 57% of the total area of Southern hemispheres largest country. This urban concentration helps to explain why it is more expensive to rent an office in São Paulo than in New York City. São Paulo metropolitan region totals 847 thousand students enrolled in institutes of higher education (mainly colleges and universities), 90% are enrolled in private institutions and 10% in public ones. According to Sindata, which provides data about São Paulos education ecosystem, there are 202 private institutions of higher education and 20 public one in São Paulo metropolitan are, representing a growth of 47% in the total of institutions of higher education since 2000. (See: Brazils Multi-Billion Dollar Education Industry: Shaping Futures, Changing Lives, and Minting Billionaires). In 2013, São Paulo ranked 6th in Forbes List of the Top 10 Billionaire cities. There are 26 billionaires (up from 19 last year) with primary residences in São Paulo. Together, their total net worth is superior to $120 billion. The average billionaire living is São Paulo is worth $4.65 billion. However, São Paulo is not included in the list of the top 20 cities with the largest amounts of millionaires. (See: All you ever needed to know about Brazilian billionaires). One of the biggest challenges of living in São Paulo is definitively the commute. In São Paulo, the average traffic jams on Friday evenings is 180km (112 miles) and as long as 295km (183 miles) on bad days according to local traffic engineers. However, smart visitors can get a free pass if they stay in Jardins, Highienópolis or Centro as most sights, galleries, restaurants and shops will be within easy reach. There are 420 helicopters registered in São Paulo, a total second only to New York, according to the Brazilian Association of Helicopter Pilots. In São Paulo state there are 700 registered helicopters and 1,900 in Brazil. São Paulo has 12,500 restaurants. Including more pizzerias than any city worldwide. The most renowned paulista restaurant is D.O.M., which has been in the list of the worlds best restaurants for the past eight years. Alex Atala, the worlds most influential chef, was born in São Paulo and runs both D.O.M. and Dalva & Dito. São Paulo is home to the largest Japanese diaspora in the world. There are 1.5 million people of Japanese origin living in SP. The architect Ruy Othake, one of the most emblematic Japanese-Brazilians, is the head behind the half-moon-shaped Hotel Unique, one of São Paulos most recognizable landmarks and South Americas most surprising hotel. São Paulos Japan town neighborhood is called Liberdade, which means freedom in Portuguese, and has a McDonalds with a Japanese-style garden around the back. São Paulo is home to the worlds largest gay parade. According to the organizers, 3.5 million people attended the 17th Gay Pride parade and the festivities that followed on June 2, 2013. According to Paul Thompson, founder of LGBT Capital, a specialist asset management and corporate advisory business for this sector, the Brazilian LGBT market is worth R$ 300 billion (US$133 billion) and is booming. This estimate puts Brazils gay market only behind its European ($870 billion), American ($750 billion) and Chinese ($300 billion) counterparts. http://www.forbes.com/sites/ricardogeromel/2013/07/12/all-you-need-to-know-about-sao-paulo-brazils-largest-city/
  11. Lucky, can I bring a video crew in to be sure you get into the next one? I am thinking Leather and Lace. If you can pull off Leather, I'll be happy to pull off Lace.
  12. I can't get enough of this one.
  13. And, yes, that new Admin is not new. It is a testing name for the programmers.
  14. I really love where IHPGuy lives. And, if they had faster Internet there, I'd be joining him. Perfect local IMHO.
  15. LOL I have never in my entire life been so insulted. I would never go to a gogo bar to look for convict boys. I usually go to prisons for that. But, I agree with Firecat's assessment of the bars. For me, Heartbeat offered nothing and Super A was not good last night either. The infamous Nature Boys was also lacking in my mind so I guess we got 0 for 3 last night. However, it was good to see Firecat on this trip and I wish him well until he returns. It takes a lot to get me out on a weekday night but enjoy meeting up with good people like Firecat. Safe journey my friend!
  16. Had you even been on a motorcycle before? Was this disclosed in your application for insurance under: Anything else we need to know. List all guys you have done the missionary position with: Have you ever taken any meds for being a missionary? or any other meds at all in your life? Please answer the above honestly, so I can evaluate your claim.
  17. Thanks for the links Jim. May I ask you, if you know, why a Missionary gets such cheap insurance with this company as opposed to everyone else? I assume that had to be negotiated. But, I plugged in numbers for several states including Cali and a missionary plan costs almost half of the other policies.
  18. For those that are considering expat insurance, please PM me and I'll be happy to share with you my horrendous experience with IMG.
  19. I was alerted to this today: http://www.pattayaone.net/pattaya-news/95338/late-night-check-north-pattaya-pubs-police-government-officials/ In the article, it says that foreigners were arrested for not having their passport with them. I hope this is not going to be a regular thing. I have always had a copy with me but always leave the actual passport at home. I also have a copy of the visa page that I take with me. I always thought that would be sufficient.
  20. I love the place as most know by my many posts on this site. Yesterday, I went and had a good guy give a massage. But, I asked for the VIP room and at 1100 baht, I like it. But, the room was not cleaned before and there was shit in the bathroom floor and the shower was disgusting. I was very disappointed in this. I did not notice the mess until after the massage and I did tell the front desk and no discount was given and no apologies. I guess they don't really care. Anyone else had a bad experience there?
  21. I may end up trying some of the better Sunday Brunch buffets in Bangkok. I would love any suggestions. The only two I know I want to test is: Plaza Athenee Bangkok, A Royal Meridien Hotel: The Rain Tree Cafe Four Seasons Any others would be greatly appreciated. And, if anyone is in town and wants to spend more money that a buffet is really worth, let me know and we can try out a place.
  22. A friend got a 1900 baht rate. I can't seem to find it but he found one. That is an amazing deal esp if you are Gold or Platinum and get upgraded. Of course, I doubt his rate comes with the cute boy in Firecat's photo.
  23. An interesting discussion of Thai Hospitals and medical care here: http://www.boytoy.com/forums/index.php?/topic/14558-two-days-at-a-thai-hospital-a-totallyoz-special-report/
  24. One of my first sexual experiences was when I was 16 and flying to London with a church group. LOL It was with a very gay flight attendant. And, on that trip, lets just say Piccadilly was a lot of fun for me. FH, I am surprised at you to be honest. You are the most well traveled and versed man I have ever met. And, I just knew you would have at least one mile high story!
  25. True. True. True. Some prefer to be remembered for the sleazy men they hang around daily. I guess I can respect that. I find either way that one wants to be remembered as OK. For me, I much prefer to be remembered for the kindness I show to others rather than any sexual escapades that I might have or hanging around a group of dirty old men who my mother warned me against. I could not agree more wee willie. I hope that you don't have that happen too often. I know I have never done this and my encounter was not exposing myself to anyone but picking up someone outside the actual bathroom and allowing him to enter into a private stall with me. I hope there is a bit of a difference in your mind. Me too. But, sometimes things come your way and you are offered and you just jump on board. Don't tell me you have never had sex on an airplane. As much as you travel, I'd bet you are a member of the mile high club. or, how about inside a movie theater? Or, on the beach? To me, where ever one decides to go, it doesn't bother me. I have been lucky enough (my words and not Willie's nasty men words) to have had sex in many places. I don't think this makes one a dirty old man, I just think it makes one adventurous. But, to each his own. But, I am pretty liberated and do not mind other peoples fetishes as long as they do it with a consenting adult. Bondage doesn't bother me, neither does group sex, bears, dragqueens, etc. Growing up sexually in NYC (after I came out) I was lucky enough to have experienced quite a bit of the sex life that a big city offers. It is so much more than going to a bar and offing a boy. That is great at times, but I find very limiting if done all the time. LOL I love video flicks as a viewer but as a movie star, I think more disastrous than Ishtar or The Lone Ranger. And, I'd hate to make Jomtien loose even more meals. He needs his strength. Just curious if you mind a bunch of old men going from bar to bar each night to off young Thai boys who have to make money to survive as sleazy? I am curious only as I don't have a problem with that, but I do hate when people try to justify their own fetishes and condemn others for theirs.
