The Bug and Bee is a restaurant located near Sillom 2. It is not exclusively gay but it is very gay friendly as it is so close to the gay scene. As there was very little information on their website, any reviews or comments would be appreciated. http://www.bugandbee.com Address: no. 18 Silom Road

I have never been in love with beachlover. I have always been in love with any posters ability to post on message boards unless rules are broken. Some may disagree with the rules being broken bit. But, I have never seen the need to ban or remove posters from websites. And, that does mean beachlover and LMTU. If I didn't like their posts, I didn't read them. But, I have never seen the point to banning anyone. Sorry, that for you means I am plastic?

He is adorable and my favorite on the show. I also like Tyler.
-
I don't know who you mean, either.
-
Love it. Love it. Love it. And, I also love my football. Roll Tide Roll! But, I'll take any of the guys in the photos above and stay home from the game!
-
Of course you don't. But, I bet you will be one of the first ones to whine like a little girl when he returns. :cray: Sorry, I didn't mean anything by that either. Just a random thought. Very nice pictures, Z.

RA1, I have been in touch with the people that make the forum. I can't do much as they can't see it either. But, if you know how to do a screen capture video and send that to me, I'll get it to them so they can see exactly what they are talking about. Again, I am so sorry this is a pain in the ass for you!

LOL I am pretty fucking liberated. I never said I had an unhappy childhood. I said I was bullied a little BUT and this is a big but, my family and friends stood up for me and fought back when I didn't want to. My childhood was spurts of great fun and joy mixed with feelings that I was missing out on a part of who I was. Dating girls did not feel false at the time. It felt lacking. I still have sex with women on occasion and do not feel that is false either. It is just what I want at the time. My mom did tell her friends. You must have been so sad growing up that it pains you to see someone live a good life and be happy with the decisions they have made and have a family that supports him. I am sorry you did not get to experience this. But, that does not mean that others who had different experiences are false.

hitoallusa, I love your positive attitude. I still disagree. Things that this man does impacts us greatly. There are 2 petitions on moveon.org about this. One was created days ago and is trying to get him fired. The other was was created much more recent and has about the same number of signatures. That tells you where the hearts and minds of the people is his red neck, hillbilly, backward ass, racist town stand! Fuck Bob Grisham and fuck the people that support that asshole. I hope they all rot in hell!

Again, you must be basing this on your own childhood. It was not mine. I did not tell my parents that I was gay until I decided for sure I was gay. I dated women my entire life until the month I "came out." I told my parents and my friends all within a few months of that. My mother was not only fine with it, she went to gay bars with me and the boys in NYC. I did not lead a traditional gay life as I also had lots of boys in and out of my place every day. I threw massive gay parties in NYC and part of a very wild crowd. She knew. She loved all of it. I don't need to think she was happier. I know she was OK with my life and my decisions. And, yes, my family does know I go to Thailand to have sex with money boys. It is and always has been a non issue for them. That is part of what a loving family and honesty in a family is about.
-
I stay in Thailand a great deal. I am not 50 yet and thus cannot get a Retirement Visa. I have to leave the country every 90 days. I usually go to Cambodia or a neighboring country when I don't want to leave Asia. The Thai Embassy in Cambodia is easy to work with and they once gave out multiple 90 day visas for Thailand.
-
That may be true for YOUR parents. It wasn't for mine.
-
When you poke, he will come. Just don't get all upset when he does!
-
Yes, it does matter to me. I love my family and am VERY family orientated. Their opinion does matter. Luckily, they are OK with my life.
-
Sorry, no, she died 7 years later.
-
I was very out and open to my mother when I came out. I didn't come out until I was 28. She died about 7 years later but she was always supportive, loving and kind. She loved all my boyfriends like they were her own kids and for 7 years they attended every Xmas gathering in Alabama and Tennessee with my family. When my mother found out I was gay she cried. She said that she was upset. My heart dropped. She said she was upset that I had lied to her all these years. I was floored. It was not me being gay that bothered her but the fact that I didn't tell her about my life earlier. To be honest, I wasn't ready to tell her as I didn't tell anyone until a few months before. My sister was the only one that knew for years. She found out as I was a writer in college and had written a short story about two gay lovers. She read it and put two and two together and asked. I told her. She was the only one I told for years. I am glad to have been able to have such a great discussion with her. It was important to her and to me. As she was on her death bed, she held my hand and the hand of my long term companion and told us both she loved us. She didn't say, I love Michael. She said, I love you both so much. Peace.

Happy Birthday my dear! I hope your day and night is fabulous!

Gay Melbourne – That's Not A Cock – This Is A Cock! Have you ever thought about going down, down under? Then you may want to book a trip to Melbourne, where the men are men and the rent boys drink Foster's. While many people know about the nightlife in Sydney, Melbourne while less well known – but the scene is much more open and there are plenty of things (and guys) to do! In fact, Melbourne is considered the cultural capital of Australia – and whether you are into art, music, theater or sculpture, you'll find something to do. And we all know that where culture pops up, fagtabulous times can be had. So, my darling daddies, luscious leather boys, terrific twinks and power bottoms - let me take you on a journey to Gay Melbourne. Just keep away from the crocodiles! No-Tell Hotels! The first thing you need to know when booking a trip to Melbourne is that they take gay travelers seriously, so much so that there are many hotels catering exclusively to gay male tourists. They don't even let fag hags in the door! And, you have a large range to choose from. There are hotels dedicated to leather daddies. Other hotels are bears only. There are drag queen hotels, and hotels for twinks. Some hotels host bareback nights. There are even hotels for just general vanilla fags! What more could you ask for in accommodating accommodation? So, before you go, do a quick Google search and book a hotel that matches your own personal preferences – and you'll be able to have a gay old time! The Rent Boy Paradise! One of the great things about Melbourne, and Australia in general, is that prostitution is legalized and regulated. That means you won't have to worry about getting stopped by the cops if you want to pick up a boy for gay-for-pay. It also means that there are safe and comfortable gay brothels to be found all over the city. You can simply go in, pick the boy of your choice, and have a hour of delightful sexperiences! You should be warned, however, that credit card receipts in Australia have room for you to write in a tip. If you don't write the tip in yourself and leave that area blank, many gay escorts will simply write in a tip for themselves - and you could end up being out a couple hundred dollars more than you sexpected. So, just be generous and write in a reasonable tip, and keep your receipt in case you have any problems. You'll also find plenty of male escorts in the gay bars, clubs and saunas you visit – some of them actually carry credit card machines in their manbags. It really is that organized and accepted. The Gayborhoods There are actually four main gayborhoods in Melbourne, all of them full of gay bars, clubs, restaurants, and stores. In the north side of the city you can visit the Collingwood and Fitzroy neighborhoods. These parts of town tend to cater toward the kinkier side of gay life, with lots of fetish clubs, leather bars, and even piss bars. If you want something a little more mellow, head south to Windsor and South Yarra, where you'll find much more traditional gay bars and clubs with a considerably more casual vibe. Gay Melbourne Events In such a gay-friendly city it's no surprise that there are plenty of events that will allow you to get your gay on in Melbourne. The Midsumma Festival in January is by far the biggest gay event of the year. It kicks off with Gay Carnivale, then features a ginormous gay pride day/parade, and also hosts the Melbourne Queer Film Festival. Basically all month long you'll find plenty of gay things to do and participate in in Melbourne. August is when the city has the a Week Of Leather festival that gets very, very down and dirty! And in November they hold their Leather Pride Festival, which attracts tens of thousands of leather daddies and the boys who love them. Then in June, the city hosts Hibearination – a monthlong series of events, parties and fun dedicated entirely to bears. Oh my! Things You Can Tell Your Mother About Of course, you might want to get away from simple sexing up your sexcation for a little bit while in Melbourne, and there are plenty of non sexy things to do in the city. My favorite is the Black Light Mini Golf Course – which allows you to play the game under black light while techno music blasts in the background. The Flinders Street Railway station is a perfectly resorted colonial era railway platform with a lot of interesting exhibits. You'll also want to see the Melbourne House Of Parliament, and take a walk through the Old Melbourne Gaol. Come Out Come Out, Wherever You Are - To Melbourne! I promise you you'll have a gay old time! cc boytoy.com 2013

Interesting article on NPR today. Click the link below for full article but it was interesting to note that 30 million people have been put in the middle class in the last few years. As this happens with the stronger Brazilian economy, the purchasing power of the Brazilians have increased. I wonder if this will also affect one of the reasons I love the place, the boys. Here are a few paragraphs: As cocaine consumption falls in the United States, South American drug traffickers have begun to pioneer a new soft target for their product: big and increasingly affluent Brazil. And the source of the cocaine is increasingly Bolivia, a landlocked country that shares a 2,100-mile border with Brazil. As Brazilian police officers and border agents can attest, the drug often finds its way to Brazil by crossing the Mamore River, which separates the state of Rondonia from Bolivia in the heart of South America. It is not an easy border to patrol. Much of it is porous jungle or river. It is also a big border, bigger than the U.S.-Mexico line that has caused so much trouble for both the Obama administration and Mexico's government. Worse still is that Bolivia, along with Peru and Colombia, are the three biggest cocaine-producing countries and Brazil shares 5,000 miles of frontier with them. http://www.npr.org/2013/01/31/170757398/as-u-s-consumes-less-cocaine-brazil-uses-more

Great article in the New York Times: Millions of people across the globe have cut the tethers to their offices, working remotely from home, airport lounges or just about anywhere they can get an Internet connection. But the political party governing Thailand has taken telecommuting into an altogether different realm. For the past year and a half, by the party’s own admission, the most important political decisions in this country of 65 million people have been made from abroad, by a former prime minister who has been in self-imposed exile since 2008 to escape corruption charges. The country’s most famous fugitive, Thaksin Shinawatra, circles the globe in his private jet, chatting with ministers over his dozen cellphones, texting over various social media platforms and reading government documents e-mailed to him from civil servants, party officials say. It might be described as rule by Skype. Or governance by instant messenger, a way for Mr. Thaksin to help run the country without having to face the warrant for his arrest in a case that many believe is politically motivated. His (remote control) return to power, even if somewhat limited by distance, is a remarkable turnaround for the brash telecommunications billionaire who was deposed in a military coup in 2006, the catalyst for several years of brinkmanship between critics and supporters that led to four changes of government and violent street protests that left nearly 100 people dead. Officially, his sister, Yingluck Shinawatra, is the prime minister (he nominated her for the job in 2011). But from his homes in Dubai and London, from the gold mines he owns in Africa and during regular visits to nearby Asian countries, Mr. Thaksin, 63, has harnessed the Internet and mobile technology to create one of the most unusual ways of governing a country. Lauderdale County High School Head Coach's Hate Speech is hard to listen to. Click the link at the bottom and head the actual audio. School district officials are investigating allegations that a Lauderdale County High School teacher made slurs in the presence of students regarding first lady Michelle Obama and gays. Superintendent Jennifer Gray confirmed the investigation concerns the school’s head football coach, Bob Grisham, who also teaches driver’s education and psychology. The investigation includes a 1-minute, 24-second audiotape of Grisham asking who knows who is behind the 600-calorie school lunch. “Fat butt Michelle Obama,” he said. “Look at her. She looks like she weighs 185 or 190. She’s overweight.” Male voices interject comments during the discussion, at one point referring to Michelle Obama as a “fat gorilla.” Later in the tape, Grisham referred to the U.S. as going in the “wrong direction” and tells the students they can “get pissed off at me or not. You can go tell the principal, call the superintendent and tell her. I don’t believe in queers. I don’t like queers, I don’t hate them as a person, but what they do is wrong and an abomination against God.” The tape was reportedly recorded by a student Monday and took place on school campus during the school day. Grisham told the TimesDaily on Wednesday afternoon he misspoke. “I misspoke in a debate-type situation,” he said. “I have no hatred toward anyone or any group. People that know my heart, they know that.” For the full story: http://timesdaily.com/stories/Teacher-linked-to-gay-slurs-at-school,201960 Be sure to read the comments at the bottom of that article as well. What a moron this guy is!

I also admit I am obsessed with travel. I have been since I was a kid. I was the first one in my family to travel overseas. I went to Scotland and London at 16. I was poor and would not have been able to afford the trip on my own but it was a missionary campaign for my church. LOL Ever since, I have loved travel. I am more obsessed with points than anything and trying to retain my status with a few hotel chains and one or two airlines. On a car trip across country last year, I would drive into the night in order to stay at one of my hotels I needed points at. In March of this year, I go to Brazil for one full month. I am using my points for hotels and staying at really great 5 star hotels for free as I save my points and use them each year in Rio De Janiero and Sao Paulo and it saves me a great deal of money. In the end, I think my "point games" are totally worth it. I don't live in Thailand so I see no need to get away from there but I do love being able to see places I have never seen before. I have been to over 30 countries and I hope to make it to 100 before I die. I am missing many countries in Africa and the Middle East and I hope to get to them one day. I also don't see a problem with my obsession with points but perhaps that is because of my obsession.

I made this today and it was great. 1 cup frozen organic raspberries 1 tbsp coconut oil 1 Tbsp chia seeds 2 scoops protein powder (I used Teras whey Acai flavor. delicious!) 2 scoops Standard Process complete powder (your nutritional insurance) ½ of a fresh squeezed lime small handful fresh mint or parsley water to liquify (I used citrus-infused water from my pitcher) Add ingredients to blender in order listed. Blend until smooth. Feel free to add more or less water depending on consistency you like. This makes 2 servings so you can pour half in a glass and the other store in fridge for later. http://nutritiousyogi.com/my-favorite-meals/2013/1/30/raspberry-lime-protein-cooler
