  1. Whoa buddy! Havana is a dream of mine! No one is getting onto a plane to go there without ME!!!!
  2. hehe No, the BF and I are on a working holiday. We are meeting up with programmers to talk about the redesign of this website! Exciting things to come. But, Mumbai is a very interesting city. I had a 5 year old girl follow me for 20 minutes tonight begging. I had to say no at least 10 times. She keep walking with us talking and begging. I made a mistake earlier in the day and gave it to a lady and a baby. About 20 others swarmed our car. So, I am just saying no from now on. The home above is true. Check out some of the news stories. It is sad that there is so much to see in this city and I asked our driver for the day to take us there first. Naturally, I could fill the place! But, what the fuck were the owners thinking?
  3. Well, not exactly, but the home did cost 1 billion USD to build. It is 27 stories high and has 800 staff. It is located in Mumbai, India. INSANE!!! I drove by it today. Here is the pic!
  4. What Firecat has said is the truth. The costs for me are always higher in Brazil and in Prague. ALWAYS. Even if you factor in the airfare. I love Brazil but the rates for hotels are nuts and the cost for boys are higher than Thailand. I have much more fun in a very relaxed way in Thailand. That said, I have taken the Premium Economy and it is fine. There is also the Middle Eastern Airlines that have Premium Economy that cuts the trip up into two segments. My current trip, I book first class on Korean Air for 4,000 USD. No miles need. First/Business all the way in its new A380 jumbo. An amazing experience. Then I got the Holiday Inn Express for 60 a night that included breakfast and Internet and it was next to all the shops so no taxis during the day. Cost to go to gay bar area, 2USD. Round trip 5 USD with tips. I love Thailand and I love Brazil but Thailand is cheaper by far than the other places people go for boys!
  5. Great idea Townie! Thank you for taking this on! As I am on holiday with the BF for a while, this will make things easy. Thanks so much!
  6. LOL I am sure TY is getting out his KY and getting ready to use it so I don't think he noticed.
  7. Thanks for sharing this link. It is much appreciated. I enjoyed the read and the discussion afterwards. There seems to be a great deal of Japanese porn. I mean, more than Thailand and any other Asian country. I don't think this relates to gays being accepted but I am curious how accepted gays are in society. It is so interesting that so many countries that are so close to Thailand and very open mindedness are so closed off and insecure about homosexuality. It is only recently that I felt the US was moving in the right direction and that may all disappear in the next election. Personally, I'd love a gay marriage at Disney World. A castle as a back drop? Yumm.
  8. Sorry, almost forgot. The other option which I didn't talk about is there are services in USA that will take the passport and application and walk it though for you. AABriggs is the one I talked to. They said I could ship passport to them via Fed. Ex. and they will do the foot work and then ship back Fed Ex. If I had issues in Bangkok, this was going to be what I had to do. I just hated shipping a passport overseas or for that matter even in the USA. It was not what I wanted but I have many friends who have used them and were very happy with the service and never had one issue.
  9. I went to San Francisco right before my trip to get a Visa to India. Since my ID is from New York, they would not process my application. It was a wasted trip for me but I did get to drive up PC1 and had a lovely trip. However, I was not happy to drive to SF and at 9AM the consulate would not even see me. I had two choices, I could either fly to New York and do the same thing in New York or I could take a chance and try Bangkok as I already had my ticket to Bangkok. I chose the Bangkok option. The process is clearly laid out for all on the Indian Embassy of Bangkok's website. Make sure that every field is clearly answered. If no answer put NA. Once you fill out everything on that application you take the application to Sumkumvit 25, 1 Glas House Building and 15th Floor. They will make sure all if fill out correctly, that you have 2 passport photos (be sure they are good or they will send you out to make new ones), a copy of your passport and the application. You will have someone check all this info, get a ticket to meet with an Immigration Expert. If filled out properly, there should be no issues. You pay the fee around 3,000 baht and are told a decision will be made in 6 days. They issue for Visas for 6 months. They do NOT issue the 5 or 10 year Tourist Visa at this embassy. If you want that, go to the embassy in your home country. They say to check their website to see if it is ready but it was never online and it didn't even show up online when it was ready. So, don't waste your time with the online, just go to the place after 6 days. They tell everyone not to get a plane ticket to India until you get the visa. I followed that advice but it ended up costing me much more money. We had to book Thai Air and we spent 34,000 baht for each of us for Business Class. We could have gotten Jet Air for around 22,000 but those tickets were not available last minute.
  10. TampaYankee is amazing to work with and I have always enjoyed his sense of humor and his compassionate spirit. I met him many years ago in Montreal. He was so lively and having such a great time. We became instant friends. A short time after that, I knew that I was going to do this site and there was no one I wanted to partner with more than TY. It has been over 6 years and there is no way I could have done this site without him. He is often quietly in the background as I am a bit louder and a tad more flamboyant. But, he is amazing to work with and ever present with every aspect of this site. Thank you TY for putting up with all my shit over the years. Thank you for tirelessly working to make this site grow and be successful. Thank you for your integrity with regards to reviews. Thank you for being the sound of reason during all discussions. Basically, thank you for being you!
  11. I have tallied the results that I think are correct. I have listed the results below. We will leave this pinned for 15 days and anyone who thinks my numbers are wrong, please let us know in this thread. The person that posted the most for the contest won a $500 gift certificate. That person was Expat. Congratulations Expat on a job well done. The person that met the goal of 2190 post for the contest period won a $500 gift certificate. Congrats Expat on meeting that very lofty goal. That is fantastic! You are impressive and appreciated! The next $500 gift certificate will go to the winner of a lucky draw. There are at least 6 people eligible for this. The drawing will be held at a place in Los Angeles after I return from my trip to Asia. It will most likely be held in the middle of July. I prefer this as I want some of the posters from LA to be present at the drawing. To everyone: Thank you for making this contest so fun for all! We love our posters here at MER. I have listed below those the numbers. Please let me know if any are wrong and need to be changed, added, etc. You have 10 days to dispute the numbers below. 12. I was there last weekend and we walked forever. I did see lots of the type of things you were talking about but they were spread out and there is no way I could even pin point where we were. My BoyFriend likes the heavy metal type clothing and we found it there as well. I am sure there is a rhyme and reason to the way things are organized there but I have never found it. Good luck and have fun!
  13. First, let me say that the Intercontinental brand is one of my favorites. I keep their top tier status for a reason; they treat me well. I have seen the hotel in Hua Hin for a while but never been able to stay here for an extended period of time. The boys and I wanted to get away from the hustle and craziness of Bangkok for a few days so we made our way to Hua Hin. The hotel is fabulous! It is simply amazing. I can't recommend it enough. The pool is incredible. The service is top notch. The daily breakfast buffet is amazing. The restaurants are great and the management is hands on and easy to work with. We checked into one of their pool suites and the view of the pool and the ocean was right in front of us. We had an oversized balconies that had a full day bed on it where the boys were able to play games, smoke and watch the activities outside. The hotel is directly on the beach and it is very private and they will even server you food on the beach and take care of you if you wander away from the hotel. There is a lot to see in Hua Hin and we were able to eat at some great restaurants downtown. The ride to the downtown costs us 100 baht each way via Tuk Tuk. While we did eat out every dinner, we at the hotel for Breakfast and Lunch each day. Normally lunch was served to us at the pool. We became very friendly with the pool bartenders and the boys loved chatting with them. The price for most rooms at the hotel start at around 6,000 baht per night. You can go up from there. Lunches for the 3 of us normally was around 1800 baht but that was for the drinks and beer we had pool side as well. If you have a 3rd person in the room, they charge an extra 2,000 baht per night but bring to your room a roll away bed and they include breakfast in that rate. As it is impossible to just sneak someone in and out of this small intimate hotel, I paid for the extra rate for the extra boy that stayed with us. If you want relaxation, this hotel is amazing. If you want good service, this hotel is great. It is a bit on the pricey side but it is a true little piece of paradise. IMHO http://www.ichotelsg...ocations/huahin

  16. (CNN) -- A gay porn actor is suspected in the killing of his acquaintance, videotaping and posting online the man's dismemberment and mailing the severed limbs to different locations in Ottawa, including to a political party's headquarters, according to a source with direct knowledge of the investigation. Authorities are searching for Luka Rocco Magnotta, 29, who they say is allegedly responsible for a human torso discovered in Montreal, thought to be linked to a human hand and foot that were separately mailed from Montreal to Ottawa. Magnotta, also known as Eric Clinton Newman, is a Montreal resident who allegedly knew the victim, identified only as a white male, Montreal police spokesman Ian Lafreniere told reporters on Wednesday. The suspect has no criminal background, and his image and information related to him were later recovered from a "very graphic" website, Lafreniere said. The source later confirmed that at least one of the websites examined by authorities was a pornographic site. It's possible the body parts all came from the same dismembered victim, Lafreniere said, but police are still awaiting the results of forensic testing for confirmation. "The two parts of the body that were found in Ottawa... we've got all the reasons to believe that it's linked to our homicide," he added, referring to the human torso found in Montreal. Authorities said they are asking the public for help in locating Magnotta, after a "coast-to-coast" warrant was issued for his arrest. Police say they plan to charge him with murder once he's apprehended. http://edition.cnn.com/2012/05/30/world/americas/canada-body-parts-investigation/index.html
  17. Hi all, Just to be sure we are on the same page, I count all the below as the starting point for the contest. Some withdrew and I took their name off the list. The rest I got from this thread. Am I missing anyone? Any numbers off? 18. I was going to take K. Suphot as many here had recommended him. However, he is in his home country for the low season and would not be available. We chatted up several local taxi drivers from Bangkok and most said they would do the trip for 1800-2000 baht. I thought very reasonable. However, I have a lot of luggage and 2 boys so I decided a van was the best way to go. I called my reliable guy in Pattaya and he got us a full size van for under 3,000 bath. He would not negotiate with us as he said that was not his usual run. I didn't want to rely on a taxi off the streets and for another 30 USD I knew I'd get a good van from him. The van was huge and big and comfortable for all 3 of us. He had a driver and a co-pilot and they went fast and it was about 2 hours and 15 minutes and we were in Hua Hin. I have reviewed these guys many times on this site. JR's Taxi is their name.
  19. Number 1: Hero So, I guess you can see I am biased. I like a large selection and have yet found one like Hero. I use to love B and N and have been happy with them the past few times I was there but only one or two guys I like from there. I have found good boys at Banana and Albury as well and some at Bonny Massage. In the end, it will be really about what kind of guys you like and if you find one you like, you will be happy with the place. I had one guy, Mr. K. from B and N and I love him and was happy with the place until he left. I have yet to find him again. You should try all the venues! Take a day and visit them all and if you don't find someone you like, go to next place. It is not hard to do. I have been to 4 or 5 in one day before.
  20. My regular guy's name is Lec. He is slim twinky looking guy and not muscle boy. There are several muscle boys that I pair him with that are great in 3 ways but I forget their name.
  21. I went by Gaya last night and it was great. Over 10 very handsome boys. Massages are 1.5 hours for 800 baht. Every boy said they could do everything. The place is located around the corner from Bangkok Hospital. It is very clean. The boys were handsome and a wide variety. The place is a bit out of the way but easy to find if you have the directions. Our driver took us right there. Soi Hua Hin 92 089 925 6444 Open from 2PM to Midnight Give this place a try if you are in Hua Hin and need a massage or a happy ending or both!
  22. It took me 4-5 days this trip. Usually, one or two max. I guess I am getting old and my body is fighting the change. Luckily, I found a really cheap hotel in Bangkok this trip to recoup. The new Holiday Inn Express in Siam was less than 70USD a night and they gave free breakfast and wifi. It was also a few steps from the MBK and Siam Paragon (15 min. walk). So, the 2 boys that stay with me could entertain themselves while I was laid out like a beach whale on the bed.
  23. Tom, I liked Dimitri as well. Sexy! Expat. I can't stand Nigel. I hate that he just decides to send the performers though without a majority. He just offers. If the other 2 are not needed, why are they there if he makes the final decision anyway. Once we get to the voting, I like him again. But, during this stage, I think he is a show off and a jerk to his fellow judges.
  24. The last comments I'll make on this hotel as I don't want to bore you all. One thing I really loved about it was they have a laundry room with coin operated machines. Each machine is 100 baht for the cycle. So one load in washer is 100 baht and one load in dryer for 1 hour is 100 baht. We needed this as we wanted clothes done fast as we were traveling. It was very easy to drop down and do this. I have not seen this in other hotels in Thailand and I hope it becomes the norm. I love the area. You can easily walk to MBK, Siam Discovery, Siam Paragon and other malls all in 7-15 minutes easy walk. The sky train is out front of the hotel with an escalator to the entrance. You can't ask for a more convenient hotel.
