It is the first time I have heard of this and I hope I can find it when I get back to USA. I will miss the other guy who is retiring.

I haven't been with anyone other than the BF but we have seen lots of locals that were hot. At the Taj, we saw several gay groups. Obvious to us anyway. And, at our hotel there were many gay couples. At dinner one night it was all filled with gay partners.

WoW! Great reports Lurker! Fantastic. Keep them coming. I love the photo and I have told others for years that Brazil has tons of twinks in the saunas and I have always been lucky to find them. I am glad you are having a great trip. Please keep the reports coming!

Sorry, I have not been around for a bit. I have been in India with my beloved Thai boyfriend having a honeymoon. We are working mostly though the week but are touring a lot on the weekends. Last week was Mumbai and this week was Delhi and the Taj Mahal. I have great stories and some great reviews for hotels in a week or two when things slow down here. I just wanted to let you know I am reading but not posting much. Cheers from India!

That is a great story. Thank you for sharing it. It is nice to know that these things do happen! However, I was hoping for a sordid story about you looking for tops at Hero.

How to Get a Thai National an Indian Visa in Bangkok
TotallyOz replied to TotallyOz's topic in Gay Thailand
We are looking at trying The Oberoi Amarvilas hotel in Agra. Does anyone have any experience with it? One of the things they offer is a Hindi commitment ceremony. This sounds lovely and I was thinking of doing this but not sure how they would take it being 2 guys. Advice? We need one hotel in Agra as we have one in Delhi lined up. Thanks. http://www.oberoihotels.com/oberoi_amarvilas -
I cannot imagine what you are going though. So very sorry to hear this and my thoughts are with you during this hard time for you and your family.

Intercontinental Hua Hin Resort: A Review from May 2012
TotallyOz replied to TotallyOz's topic in Gay Thailand
I guess you have a bad taste in your mouth for someone who chooses to book a hotel that you would not book. Sad. IMHO, it is to each his own. It sounds like you may have a bug up your ass about the Intercontinental. Or, maybe it is just me, not sure. The comment on the beach being very private was that at no time did anyone bother us while we were there. No salesmen trying to sell anything, just peaceful quite relaxation. It was what I wanted and I was happy to get it. We did wander from the Hotel in each direction along the beach for at least a mile or two each day and mingle with others. We chose to eat at the Intercontinental as it was great food at price that I was willing to pay. Others may not choose to pay and can wander where they wish. We had 3 very nice dinners in the downtown area. Each were good and we had a great experience in Hua Hin. The last night we ate a seafood restaurant off of the pier area and it was fantastic. It was 90 percent Thais that night. We were with some Thai friends that live in Hua Hin each night and we enjoy wandering out and eating, shopping and spending time in the city. We also enjoyed going to one of the temples. There is nothing wrong with being will to pay for a nice experience and one that it paid for mostly by Farangs. I had a great time in Hua Hin and am considering going back there for a considerable about of time. There is nothing wrong with a hotel that services your every need. I find it wonderful and I certainly won't apologize for having the ability to stay in the place I want to stay. My other hotels in Hua Hin were Chiva Som and the Holiday Inn near Cha Am. The nerve of me staying in places that other foreigners stay! Wait. I am a foreigner and I don't have a house in Hua Hin and I need to stay in a hotel. Damn it! I forgot all that for a minute. -
A One Billion Dollar Ultimate Male Escort Pad
TotallyOz replied to TotallyOz's topic in The Beer Bar
Yes, and from what the locals tell me, it is bullet proof and the most secure building in Mumbai. That says a lot! I checked into my hotel and went through a car scan, all the luggage was scanned, I was scanned and I was thinking next would be a body search. The dichotomy of the classes is amazing. It is abundantly clear to anyone when they walk out their door. I'd love to say, "why do the Indians put up with it." But, then I'd have to ask how are the Americans putting up with it happening in the USA. -
Whoa buddy! Havana is a dream of mine! No one is getting onto a plane to go there without ME!!!!

A One Billion Dollar Ultimate Male Escort Pad

hehe No, the BF and I are on a working holiday. We are meeting up with programmers to talk about the redesign of this website! Exciting things to come. But, Mumbai is a very interesting city. I had a 5 year old girl follow me for 20 minutes tonight begging. I had to say no at least 10 times. She keep walking with us talking and begging. I made a mistake earlier in the day and gave it to a lady and a baby. About 20 others swarmed our car. So, I am just saying no from now on. The home above is true. Check out some of the news stories. It is sad that there is so much to see in this city and I asked our driver for the day to take us there first. Naturally, I could fill the place! But, what the fuck were the owners thinking? -
Well, not exactly, but the home did cost 1 billion USD to build. It is 27 stories high and has 800 staff. It is located in Mumbai, India. INSANE!!! I drove by it today. Here is the pic!

What Firecat has said is the truth. The costs for me are always higher in Brazil and in Prague. ALWAYS. Even if you factor in the airfare. I love Brazil but the rates for hotels are nuts and the cost for boys are higher than Thailand. I have much more fun in a very relaxed way in Thailand. That said, I have taken the Premium Economy and it is fine. There is also the Middle Eastern Airlines that have Premium Economy that cuts the trip up into two segments. My current trip, I book first class on Korean Air for 4,000 USD. No miles need. First/Business all the way in its new A380 jumbo. An amazing experience. Then I got the Holiday Inn Express for 60 a night that included breakfast and Internet and it was next to all the shops so no taxis during the day. Cost to go to gay bar area, 2USD. Round trip 5 USD with tips. I love Thailand and I love Brazil but Thailand is cheaper by far than the other places people go for boys!

Great idea Townie! Thank you for taking this on! As I am on holiday with the BF for a while, this will make things easy. Thanks so much!

LOL I am sure TY is getting out his KY and getting ready to use it so I don't think he noticed.

Thanks for sharing this link. It is much appreciated. I enjoyed the read and the discussion afterwards. There seems to be a great deal of Japanese porn. I mean, more than Thailand and any other Asian country. I don't think this relates to gays being accepted but I am curious how accepted gays are in society. It is so interesting that so many countries that are so close to Thailand and very open mindedness are so closed off and insecure about homosexuality. It is only recently that I felt the US was moving in the right direction and that may all disappear in the next election. Personally, I'd love a gay marriage at Disney World. A castle as a back drop? Yumm.

How to Get an Indian Visa in Bangkok if you are NOT Thai
TotallyOz replied to TotallyOz's topic in Gay Thailand
Sorry, almost forgot. The other option which I didn't talk about is there are services in USA that will take the passport and application and walk it though for you. AABriggs is the one I talked to. They said I could ship passport to them via Fed. Ex. and they will do the foot work and then ship back Fed Ex. If I had issues in Bangkok, this was going to be what I had to do. I just hated shipping a passport overseas or for that matter even in the USA. It was not what I wanted but I have many friends who have used them and were very happy with the service and never had one issue. -
I went to San Francisco right before my trip to get a Visa to India. Since my ID is from New York, they would not process my application. It was a wasted trip for me but I did get to drive up PC1 and had a lovely trip. However, I was not happy to drive to SF and at 9AM the consulate would not even see me. I had two choices, I could either fly to New York and do the same thing in New York or I could take a chance and try Bangkok as I already had my ticket to Bangkok. I chose the Bangkok option. The process is clearly laid out for all on the Indian Embassy of Bangkok's website. Make sure that every field is clearly answered. If no answer put NA. Once you fill out everything on that application you take the application to Sumkumvit 25, 1 Glas House Building and 15th Floor. They will make sure all if fill out correctly, that you have 2 passport photos (be sure they are good or they will send you out to make new ones), a copy of your passport and the application. You will have someone check all this info, get a ticket to meet with an Immigration Expert. If filled out properly, there should be no issues. You pay the fee around 3,000 baht and are told a decision will be made in 6 days. They issue for Visas for 6 months. They do NOT issue the 5 or 10 year Tourist Visa at this embassy. If you want that, go to the embassy in your home country. They say to check their website to see if it is ready but it was never online and it didn't even show up online when it was ready. So, don't waste your time with the online, just go to the place after 6 days. They tell everyone not to get a plane ticket to India until you get the visa. I followed that advice but it ended up costing me much more money. We had to book Thai Air and we spent 34,000 baht for each of us for Business Class. We could have gotten Jet Air for around 22,000 but those tickets were not available last minute.

TampaYankee is amazing to work with and I have always enjoyed his sense of humor and his compassionate spirit. I met him many years ago in Montreal. He was so lively and having such a great time. We became instant friends. A short time after that, I knew that I was going to do this site and there was no one I wanted to partner with more than TY. It has been over 6 years and there is no way I could have done this site without him. He is often quietly in the background as I am a bit louder and a tad more flamboyant. But, he is amazing to work with and ever present with every aspect of this site. Thank you TY for putting up with all my shit over the years. Thank you for tirelessly working to make this site grow and be successful. Thank you for your integrity with regards to reviews. Thank you for being the sound of reason during all discussions. Basically, thank you for being you!

I have tallied the results that I think are correct. I have listed the results below. We will leave this pinned for 15 days and anyone who thinks my numbers are wrong, please let us know in this thread. The person that posted the most for the contest won a $500 gift certificate. I was there last weekend and we walked forever. I did see lots of the type of things you were talking about but they were spread out and there is no way I could even pin point where we were. My BoyFriend likes the heavy metal type clothing and we found it there as well. I am sure there is a rhyme and reason to the way things are organized there but I have never found it. Good luck and have fun!

First, let me say that the Intercontinental brand is one of my favorites. I keep their top tier status for a reason; they treat me well. I have seen the hotel in Hua Hin for a while but never been able to stay here for an extended period of time. The boys and I wanted to get away from the hustle and craziness of Bangkok for a few days so we made our way to Hua Hin. The hotel is fabulous! It is simply amazing. I can't recommend it enough. The pool is incredible. The service is top notch. The daily breakfast buffet is amazing. The restaurants are great and the management is hands on and easy to work with. We checked into one of their pool suites and the view of the pool and the ocean was right in front of us. We had an oversized balconies that had a full day bed on it where the boys were able to play games, smoke and watch the activities outside. The hotel is directly on the beach and it is very private and they will even server you food on the beach and take care of you if you wander away from the hotel. There is a lot to see in Hua Hin and we were able to eat at some great restaurants downtown. The ride to the downtown costs us 100 baht each way via Tuk Tuk. While we did eat out every dinner, we at the hotel for Breakfast and Lunch each day. Normally lunch was served to us at the pool. We became very friendly with the pool bartenders and the boys loved chatting with them. The price for most rooms at the hotel start at around 6,000 baht per night. You can go up from there. Lunches for the 3 of us normally was around 1800 baht but that was for the drinks and beer we had pool side as well. If you have a 3rd person in the room, they charge an extra 2,000 baht per night but bring to your room a roll away bed and they include breakfast in that rate. As it is impossible to just sneak someone in and out of this small intimate hotel, I paid for the extra rate for the extra boy that stayed with us. If you want relaxation, this hotel is amazing. If you want good service, this hotel is great. It is a bit on the pricey side but it is a true little piece of paradise. IMHO http://www.ichotelsg...ocations/huahin
