  1. If you have a Mac, let me suggest NetShade. It is great.
  2. G, keep working hard. It will pay off! As for Stop signs, I have never had a thing for them. I do like Elephant Crossing signs though.
  3. I have talked to several business owners who have said very clearly that they have more Arab customers than they do Americans. This may or may not bother others. For me, I don't care as long as the places in Pattaya are getting business. Each person said that this is not a low season thing but a trend over the last year or so. I know that part of this has to do with the horrible economy that the USA currently has and part may be the high cost and long distance of the airfare. I have had several really nice conversations with people from the Middle East and they have told me the prices they are paying for their airline tickets and it was more expensive than I paid. But, they also say this area is great as it is a quick flight for them. For most from the USA, getting to Thailand is at least 20 hours or more. I am sure others have seen the shift in tourists. I am curious if this trend shows the slower traffic of those from Europe?
  4. A giant tortoise known as a symbol for the disappearing species and of the Galapagos Islands died on Sunday. The tortoise named Lonesome George, who gained notoriety with its failed efforts to produce offspring, was found dead on Sunday, officials at the Galapagos National Park announced. Lonesome George was believed to be the last living member of the Pinta island subspecies. http://www.dailymail...o=feeds-newsxml

  6. FH, IMHO and IMHO only, I think the low season is low for those of us like like gay bars and the like. However, the nice hotels I stay at are BOOKED with family tourists. I have been amazed every hotel I have been at in LOS (3 so far) and all were full of tourists that are more family orientated. Even in Pattaya, the hotels are full and have tons of guest but they are families with many kids. I was swimming with some from Middle East and I asked them how long they were in Pattaya and he said 10 days. I asked him why as he had 7 kids with them. He said he likes the beach and the kids love the pools and so many things to do around Pattaya. I asked if the bars bothered them and he said not at all that the kids don't go outside the hotel grounds late night. He did say last year they spent 3 weeks in Phuket and the year before in Chiang Mai. He said Thailand is a bargain and his family loves it and Pattaya has been fantastic for them. I just wonder if this is going to continue to be the trendy place to bring more and more families and the gay bars slowly dwindle down?
  7. Personally, I am loving this show. Great return. Great stories. LOVE LOVE LOVE JR back in action again. Evil as ever. And, his son is a hottie and nice to look at.
  8. I had a very nice night in Boyztown in Pattaya, Thailand last night. After a nice dinner, we went to Funny Boys. As usual, Mama Rose was friendly and the place was great to sit and chat and watch some cute boys. Rose is known for running the best gogo bar in Pattaya and there really is no competition for comfort and cleanliness. If you like a boy that is slightly more effeminate, this place has to be heaven. They don't have a lot of ladyboys but they are filled with gay boys galore. It was really enjoyable to site and watch. We tried to go in Wild West afterwards but there was a group of at least 20 customers in there and all were smoking. I could smell the smoke outside when I was walking up the steps and when I walked inside, wow, the smoke was thicker than anything I have seen in ages. It was just not for me so we left. I had smoke but will deal with it if just a few people. This bar seen to be hosting the Marlboro Foundation. Happy Bar was next. Neal has a great deal of cute boys and runs a very nice place. I saw two guys I have known for a few years and loved talking to them and chatting with them. I took one off with me and had a nice time. Drinks were 150 baht and off fee was 400 baht for doorman and 300 for dancers. All in all, I had a nice time in Boyztown. I did see Panorama was full and had a great business going on. Having been to Sunee a few night and now to Boyztown, I can see that low season is really low and many of the boys talked about not having a customer in a while in both places.
  9. It has been a long time since I ate at Le Cafe Royale in Boyztown. I did last night and I really enjoyed my dinner. I had the chicken Maryland and it really was very tasty and very filling. I use to go to cafe quite a bit but stopped going for some reason. A friend asked me to meet him there last night and I'm glad I did. The food was good. The service was quick and friendly and the prices were really reasonable. I really enjoyed my time there. For those of you that enjoy Boyztown in Pattaya, Le Cafe Royale has a great menu that tastes good at reasonable prices. Stop by and give them a try on your next trip.
  10. I have always enjoyed his posts. Happy Birthday!
  11. I am totally insulted that you use my personal desires to have sweet peas shoved up my ass in a post. Just an FYI, I do not cook the peas first so they are a bit harder. As the President of the Sweet Pea Rainbow Coalition, I would appreciate everyone keeping their peas in a pod and not on the forum!
  12. No, I don't think so. Sometimes it is purely business. Who would go watch a famous lead actor in an action role, if they knew for a fact he was gay? Most gay men who are actors and who come out state that the roles they get were hurt by coming out. Same thing if we found out a famous Rapper was gay. Would he loose part of his black audience? Lastly, what if we heard a potential VP nominee was lesbian. Would that affect her likeability if she were in the conservative Republican party or would they just say, "hell, the going to hell Mormon picked her anyway and we have no fucking choice in order to get the black guy out."
  13. That is it. Thanks. I didn't know on YouTube. A manager at the hotel I was at in India suggested this to me. It really is a great in-depth look into Ladyboys.
  14. Do you like getting waxed? I have friends that do it often and they are very metrosexual. I am not sure I could stand the pain. I like being smooth. I just hate the feeling of the wax being ripped off.
  15. It is a fascinating documentary that is in 6 parts. I have 3 parts of this and will see all 6. It is very well done! Anyone else seeing this? Watching this?
  16. LOL I think Usher is HOT! I'd do it anyway he wanted as well. So, as long as I were in there somewhere, I would be happy. Though, I bet Usher is a top!
  17. I'd do him, let him do me or anything else he wanted. But, alas, I think his rap mentor and I would have an even better time. Justin is adorable but I much prefer a thug look. He is too clean cut for me. But, I would not throw him out of my bed.
  18. OMG Thaiworthy, don't encourage him!
  19. I brought you some jewels from the Taj. However, when I went to give to you last night, I asked around and the boys from Nice Boys said you had taken all them off and were in no need of jewels as you considered them all diamonds. So, I just gave to the boys. So sorry! I have never been able to charm a snake. However, I did see several big snakes there. Some I bet I couldn't even get my mouth around!
  20. Thank you! Yes, it will. It was a very interesting trip for sure. Being in India was so different than anything I have ever experienced.
  21. When the Supreme Court overturns Obama Care perhaps the people of the USA will realize the SCOTUS is just a bunch of political junkies like me.
  22. I went to Sunee Plaza last night so my comments are based on that area and no where else. I always love Sunee and I like the way the beer bars are set up so that you can talk and relax and have a good time. The beer bars seemed light on customers to me but I may have been early. The gogo bars had few boys in them. Nice Boys was fun but 1/3 of the staff that I remember. I still had a nice time and it is easy to find sexy guys to have a drink and enjoy the evening with. There were several beer bars that had lots of people in them but the old popular place The Corner Bar was void of any customers. I am not sure what happened there but it was very quiet. Oud's place was also quite busy. In fact, I wanted to stop there for some food but no empty chairs. So, business is good for some of the bars. Nice boys had many customers and seem to be doing a good business. There were just not quite the number of guys there that were here last time I was in town. That may be because it is low season. As always, I LOVE eating at Salt and Pepper Restaurant. They have great service and good food and I never miss out on eating there when I am in Pattaya.
  23. On 3rd Road, across from Sunee Plaza, there is a live music beer bar open air restaurant. I have heard that several boys from Nice Boys were working there so I trekked over to see some of them. The staff has lots of eye candy with boys and ladyboys. The place is loud so if you don't like music stay away. The live band if fun and enjoyable. The food was excellent. I was impressed. This is a great place to take a group of Thai boys when you want to just relax and have fun and sit down as opposed to a disco. I have been told that the place is jam packed after 12 midnight but it open till 4. It is a nice break from the gogo scene for sure and I'll be going back there again.
  24. Yes, it is possible. Probable? well, that is another story. Sorry, have been traveling a bit and it was a HELL of a trip! LOL more stories to come on that later. The Taj was really incredible. It was a dream come true. We got to the Taj at sunrise and we got to see some of the most beautiful scenes imaginable. We hired a private guide for the day and I was glad we did. He was full of knowledge and history and I am so happy we had him to help us with the day. He was part of the price we paid for our car from Delhi to Agra and then back the next day and then 2 days in Delhi. The entire cost was 9,000 Rupees. That is less than 180 UDS for 4 days and 2 full tours. We got this cost because my friends who are Indian booked the service. If we had done it, it would have been much more expensive. Agra is an odd city. It is full of beauty from the ancient world and there were monkeys in the streets and the cows roamed freely. It was also like other Indian cities in that the traffic was a nightmare. It took a while to get around in the "inner city." The city has a few major attractions and the one for this post is the Taj Mahal. I hope you enjoy these photos. I'll post about the Agra Fort tomorrow.
