  1. Stop 3: Bangkok Burger Company Thonglor Soi 10 Thonglor, Bangkok I have been watching Bangkok Burger Company on Facebook and I liked their attention to detail and I wanted to try this out. Tonight was opening night. They had a few practice runs in the last 4 or 5 days and I was invited to them but couldn't attend. So, we went to check this place out. First, if you turn onto Thonglor from Sukhumvit Road and then turn onto Soi 10, you are right at the place. It is about 10 stores into the soi and on the 2nd floor of one of the buildings. The place is very well decorated and once again, attention was paid to detail. The menus were great and had one side English and one side Thai. The tables were comfortable and the place was very cozy. It is not a huge place and I would think about 50 people could sit inside. The have an extensive menu of burgers and many variations. They also change the specials from week to week. There was a group of 4 of us and we all had different burgers. They have regular size which is 100 grams and large which is 160 grams of beef. I suggest the larger one. They also have real milkshakes made from Ice Cream. They were tasty. The hamburgers were delicious. The boys loved them and so did the falangs. The fries were very good as well. The meat was seasoned very well and the buns were hot and fresh. The 2 Thai boys gave the place a 5 out of 5. The two falangs gave it a 4.5 our of 5. So, overall, we give it a 4.75 out of 5. That is pretty damn good considering it was opening night and they are new. I could not complain about the food at all. It was great tasting and reasonably priced. We spent about 500 baht each for food and drinks but we also had desert and milkshakes and beer. The owner is a very nice man who came over and ask our opinions and really seemed interested in knowing what we thought of the place. As I told him, it was fantastic. I would gladly recommend this place to anyone to visit. It was one of the best burgers I have had in Thailand. I have attached a print out and they said if you print this out and take to them that you will be 20 percent off during the month of August. That is 20 percent off the entire bill. My goodness, I think a great deal. Bangkok Burger Company is on my list of visits every time I visit Bangkok! YUMMY! BangkokBurger.pdf
  2. Congrats to a great money maker for Take Care! It seems to have been a very successful night. I am sure it took a great deal of work and time on the part of many people. I am happy it was so successful for all involved. Keep up the great work!
  3. What browser are you using with your Apple? And, did you upgrade to Lion?
  4. I have a thing for people with braces. And, tats. So, give me a nerdy homeboy!
  5. I like Marko and the two girls. I don't think Tad will win and would be disappointed if he did. I think a few of the judges really like him but this is America's vote. Don't you think a lady will win?
  6. No decision has been made yet. But, why on earth would there be a partial exodus for combining the forums? I just don't understand that at all.

    True Blood

This show is very well done and keeps you waiting for the next episode week after week. This week's show was great and I love the new characters they brought in this season.
  8. I usually go to Alabama and Tennessee to visit relatives in the summer and we always take a trip to the Mennonite farms. They have great vegetables to sell and my Aunts really love going from farm to farm to buy the goods. I always enjoy the after product of fresh squash, fried okra, turnip greens, potatoes, tomatoes, onions, etc. When you have great fresh veggies mixed with good Southern cooking, you have a fabulous summer day!
  9. Yes, it does help keep my data more secure. My account was hacked at Sony and I changed all the accounts. With one breach, it is easy to go about getting other information. That one was made public. Most are not. So, I still think a good idea to change most of your passwords on a regular basis.
  10. Moses was right in most of his suggestions. It was very kind of him to offer this. Moses is apparently a programmer and was trying to them them out.
  11. Thank you for that history lesson. It will make me reconsider my anger when my taxi driver goes the wrong way. My BF always has to be the interpreter as I know the short and fast way to get most places I want to go so I tell him where I want the driver to turn. If he is not with me, I just sit back and moan.
  12. I think important to change passwords every few months for all your sites. That is only my recommendation. It only takes a few hours to do this and it will keep you more secure.
  13. Our of curiosity, do you tip taxi drivers in Bangkok for a short in town trip? If so, what do you tip? Do you think Thais tip taxi drivers?
  14. I have written over 100 reviews on trip advisor and I use it whenever I go to a new city. I look at the review and if the review is from a newbie, I pass by. If a review is from someone established with reviews from a variety of hotels, I give weight to that review. Sorry, but I never read a review from someone with only one or two posts. I find them irrelevant to the site and to me. If someone is serious about the reviews, they can do more than a few reviews. I get lots of questions based on my reviews and I always answer. I also will ask questions when I am going to travel. I do have a long Crown Plaza Bangkok story I'll post when I get time and it really told me the weight management puts into reviews and they really try to vet the bad reviews.
  15. Admin Note: We moved this thread to the main Gay Thailand forum as we think it is relevant to anyone traveling to Thailand.
  16. We have tried to consolidate the Bangkok City Guide Area on the website. We have now moved this over to the forums as we believe that forum participants best know the area and when something has closed. The old Bangkok Gay Guide area had many old listings that were closed or changed names. We hope we are able to do a better job at keeping this organized. The Bangkok City Guide for Gay Thailand is located at the top of the screen by hitting City Guide. http://www.gaythailand.com/index.php?file=city_guides&gCityID=1&gCatID= We have finished the hotel area of this section. http://www.gaythailand.com/index.php?file=city_guides_listing&gCityID=1&gCatID=6 The hotels are linked to the Gay Bangkok Forum we have created for businesses in gay Thailand. The businesses do not have to be gay owned and operated but at least gay friendly. Here is a post that has all the hotels listed: http://www.gaythailand.com/forums/topic/7174-bangkok-gay-and-gay-friendly-hotels-and-b-and-b/ Baan Saladaeng Saladaeng Road, Soi 3 Silom, Bangkok 10500 Phone:+66 (0)2 6363038 http://www.gaythailand.com/forums/topic/7237-gay-bangkok-hotel-baan-saladaeng/#entry51554 Babylon Sauna Bed and 34 Soi Nandha, South Sathon Road Soi 1, Bangkok 10120 http://www.gaythailand.com/forums/topic/5935-babylon-sauna-bed-and-breakfast/ BBB Inn Guesthouse 918 Rama 4 Road Bang Rak, Bangkok 10500 Thailand http://www.gaythailand.com/forums/topic/7190-bangkok-gay-hotel-bbb-inn/#entry51253 Malaysia Hotel 54 Soi Ngamduplee, Rama 4 road, Sathorn, Bangkok 10120 Tel: +66 2 679 7127 thru 36 Fax: +66 2 287 1457 http://www.gaythailand.com/forums/topic/5933-malaysia-hotel/ OmYim Lodge Address: 72,74 (Chong Nonsi BTS station) Naratiwat Road. 18. Has anyone seen this yet? I am dying to see it but it is not in Thailand. I hope I see it some way before I return to the USA. http://www.magictripmovie.com/
  19. OK. We are down to the final four. Few seem willing to pick a winner out of a pack of 10. Now, there is only one week left. Who will take home the prize? I am going to say Marco at this point. Although, I think one of the girls is far superior to him and will get a lot of votes. I think Marco will make it to the top 2 and I am hoping he will be the winner! Sorry, I just have to pic a cute boy as the winner! It is the gay man inside me hoping to get Marco to join Male Escort Review one day down the road. Tad doesn't really do it for me. Ricky is gone but he was such a beautiful lad! Lovely skin, beautiful face and a smile that lit up the stage EVERY week. IMHO This year has been my favorite but I did love seeing Ken dance again the past few weeks. He still has a piece of my heart from last year and is growing into a very handsome young man. Ken, if you are reading this, come live with me and lets dance around the world!
  20. I can see how you would get confused by your friend and me. LOL I am just happy I was sharp enough to retire from working and start traveling the world before I reached 35. I guess if I had been sharper, I would have made it before 30. But, hey, I guess we can't all be the sharpest splinter in the wood pile.
  21. I'd love to make that last picture a threesome! Chase, where are you getting these photos? They are very high quality. If that is you, you are quite amazing!

    I am amazed!

Yeah, but Fountainhall was downloading it from 72 of those countries last month. jk Congrats on the success of the venture and I hope that it continues.
  23. As always sir, you have great information on everything to do with gay Thailand. Now, may I ask, where I can go to find boys of very low standard?
