To be honest with you, it never occurred to me. However, I did have a laptop taken on one trip and that was right after a long stay there. It was returned weeks later with no apology. I have always been thoroughly searched when I enter USA but it has always been from Thailand and never from Brazil and my searches ceased when I didn't stay at that hotel any longer. I think you may be on to something. My last few trips were after renting a condo and the searches were quick and not the 3 hour ones I have experienced.

My goodness. I am shocked and appalled. You mean I could get room "service" just by calling the front desk? I love it! Why doesn't the Marriott do this? Maybe it is a new trend?

One of my favorite things in the USA was my Vanilla scented Yankee Candle. I bought them by the cases and always had one on in my apartment. It made the entire place smell beautiful. Today, the boys and I were going to the theater at Emporium Shopping and I smelled a very familiar fragrance. Well, there they were, around the corner, an entire area for Yankee Candles. My oh my. I was in heaven! I bought one for old time sake. The cost was 1800 baht. That is double or even more than I can get them for in the USA. But, they last 70 hours or so. Bangkok keeps getting better!

I had a boy coming from Korat and it took him an extra hour with the delay. I watched the Thai TV and it looked like a mass of people. The people I have talked to are going to vote for Thaskin's sister. They don't know much more than that is who they want! It will be interesting to see what happens.

I agree with you guys the Good Wife is the best drama on TV. I love Mr. Big and I think they are setting up next season to be a really great one. For those of you that haven't watched it, go back and watch Season 1. It was good but only got better with time. That stable boy is cute and when he was fucking her in the woods, I dreamed that was me. (with him and not fucking her). I have also enjoyed the Borgias but I have always loved Jeremy Irons. He is amazing in whatever he does. Last week's episode was great. I can't wait to see the end.

Every bar I have been into in Bangkok allows smoking. Super A is a cigarette haven! I had to leave one night as it was nothing but smoke. But, had the right boy have been there, I would have endured.

Thanks again for the great report. It was so much fun to read. For Brazil has a piece of my heart. I love going there. I have the intent to find a place there to live for a year but had had a difficult time finding something I like and would be comfortable in. Rio is an amazing city with incredible guys working at the saunas. IMHO, it is a paradise. Your reports brought back so many wonderful memories.

I love watching TV and I usually have it on another monitor as I work. So, I am not 100 percent focused on every episode but I do watch many show. This year has had some great series and shows. I have been reading the thread and stayed out of it until I spoke to my friends in NYC (where I just happen to know a lot of crooks and lawyers). I just finished my conversation with a lawyer in USA. He said that few cases ever appear of Copyright Infringement where someone posts from a newspaper, but that it is possible and more papers are starting to pursue this. His firm deals with this on a regular basis and he said he has never seen a suit from a nNewspaper that would sue a site like ours as we are very small potatoes. That said, he did say that if they choose to sue, while they would not win, it would be very costly to pursue on our side and thus make the outcome irrelevant. He said the appropriate way to make these posts are to take a segment (approximately half of an article or less) and post it with a link that says something like, For the remaining article see: This creates incentive for users to go to the original source. Lastly, he said that if the above is done and there are comments on the content of the article from the original poster, there is no court that would ever see this as infringing on their rights. Naturally, he is referring to the laws in the USA and not Thailand."

For the night, I'd think 1500-2000 would be reasonable. If you are over 30 and they are sitting with you, they are working and want money. And, how do you know? You ask them. You want to say all night with me? You want only short time? My best advise is to be upfront with them. Tell them what you want, top, bottom, oral (smoke), etc. Tell them what you will pay and ask them if they want to go off with you. They are the same. One works in a bar while if the boy has a dick in Pattaya, he is most likely a money boy. Unless he is with another falang in which case he is with them for love and not money so don't try to pick them up even if they wink at you.

One of the things I noticed on my trips to Spain is the abundance of cute guys cruising the streets. It didn't really add up to me as they seem to be there all day and night. I finally found the reason. The Majority of Spaniards like at home until they are well into their thirties. Dude, I love boxing. American boxing, Thai Boxing but now mostly Mixed Martial Arts. I watch it on shows and in person when I can. But, for me, I am too old, too frail and too heavy to get into boxing. I wish I had found it when I was 15 years old as I had the body type for it back then. But, it was not in the cards for me. Now, it is too late and the bones are too fragile. It is only for weight loss now. The Golden Gloves boys are hot aren't they?
