  1. My friend tells me he is adorable! The teen girl crowd is going to love him.
  2. I personally hate the TSA and its policies. But, I agree, I would not mind a more serious screen, similar to Israel, if it was well done and I felt safer. As it is now, I feel find every time I fly. I hope that continues.
  3. Admittedly, this was my favorite! Thanks for all your comments. We have placed a temporary name on the forum. This site was almost named Hooboy.com. I like the name and thought it appropriate. I caved in years ago as many said it was be offensive to others on the other site. I listened and regretted it ever since. Hooboy was a dear friend and someone I cared for a great deal. Naming this forum for him from time to time is something I feel very appropriate to the site.
  4. Lucky, thank you so much for your enthusiasm. You have and continue to contribute a great deal to the site. Thank you for all you do! It was great having this forum named for you since the challenge. I hope we are all going to continue working to make the site better and more entertaining for all of us.
  5. This is a video I took last night from my balcony. It is only 2 minutes long but gives you a good idea of the party going on last night. Naturally, this went on for a bit and even when daylight broke, the sound of fireworks were booming. I went to breakfast in Jomtien at Pappa David's and my ride there was filled with guys and dolls on the street finishing up their party from the night before. Thailand is wild on New Year's. I hope some of you that are away from LOS this year get a smile on your face from this video! Happy New Year to ALL! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XklK7w8NfvU ps. Special thanks to Firecat for finding me this apartment as it has the best view ever for New Years!
  6. From CNET: Technology Thailand 2011: Year of Thailand's online social awakening Jan 1, 2011 09:41 2010 was a pretty good year with regards to tech innovation and product releases in Thailand. We saw the release of multiple tablets from Apple's iPad to local brands like Wellcom's A800 and Samsung's Galaxy Tab. We were disappointed yet again with the postponement of our 3G auction but were somewhat comforted with MNP and the expansion of current 3G "test area" coverage. Society and politics, depending on how long you've been around and how much you can recall about the past 3 decades, seemed to regress or remain stuck in its depressing loop. However, there was one very interesting development in Thai online behavior, which seemed to go against the grain of what usually happens in the real world. Thais have become more aware of the power of social networks like Twitter, FourSquare and Facebook. From political discourse to online vigilantism (not necessarily a bad thing considering our history of questionable justice) to support for their favorite public figure, the masses have been drawing attention to events and issues which normally would be overlooked or muffled by traditional media. As the year came to an end, we saw a horrific accident appear in the news. A minor from an influential family (whose name will not be reported here as she is a minor) was illegally driving a car on one of Bangkok's elevated tollways. She had lost control of her car during a overtaking maneuver which caused it to slam into a passenger van causing a high speed accident flinging at least 8 people out of the van to the tragic end on to the streets way down below. Normally, this would be considered a tragic accident which was caused by an unfortunate series of event involving a privileged minor, which is not uncommon. But sadly for the minor, her actions right after the accidents were captured and publicized for better or for worse. Despite the questionable legality of publicizing a case involving and personal details involving of minor, pictures of the minor tapping away seemingly nonchalantly on her Blackberry and subsequent screen captures of her Facebook wall interactions which appeared to show someone with callous indifference for the loss of life and indifference. A Facebook page dedicated to holding her accountable, as soon as it was revealed that the minor would be fined only 400 baht for careless driving, soon popped up and chain emails with the incident's grisly pictures were soon making rounds in people's inboxes. Never mind that the case could still be pending and that it was an accident due to carelessness and not premeditated act of murder. Never mind that it was caused by a minor. It could have been disdain for her immediate actions at the scene of the accident, online or perception of her attitude towards the whole situation. It could also be that the public has had enough with rule bending by privileged members of society. Maybe this latest incident was an ugly reminder of a previous auto-related incident perpetrated by another privileged soul which saw people mowed down on sidewalks due to road rage. A new precedent is being sent with regards to social responsibility and its been set by the new generation who have taken it to the online world. It had been said that today's youths were interested in only their online world and did not care what happened in the real world. We are now seeing that those words uttered by a generation oblivious to what really happens online proven wrong and that youths are holding them responsible for their inactions in the real world. Its a new world out there and those who choose to ignore or remain behind are going to be surprised in the worst possible way. http://asia.cnet.com/blogs/technology-thailand/post.htm?id=63022309&scid=rvhm_ms
  7. Thank you for this link Chris. I enjoyed watching this.
  8. That is a pretty nasty statement. Many of the bars and gogo's follow the law and do not need to be raided. If they are, I hope the boys in brown also raid those in Boyztown, Walking Street, Soi 6, Jomtien and every other area of Pattaya. I am not sure why think think that gay bars have more yaba workers than other bars. It is not the case. It is, IMHO, only the amount being paid, or lack thereof, that causes these raids. But, only time will tell. If there is a newspaper article on this, perhaps we will learn more behind the reason of the raid. However, there is not one newspaper in Pattaya I would trust to give a total reliable unbiased opinion of anything. I might even expand that statement to any newspaper in Thailand.
  9. While not technically a boy, I'd love to go to that party! I'll even wear some hip hop outfit. Seriously, good luck with your move. Looking forward to having you closer to me.
  10. They were pretty much all the same. Perhaps next time, give 4 different designs? It was hard for me to even choose.
  11. And you posting at 9AM? Are you just getting your cup of coffee after a night of fine wine, booze and boys? or, did you stay in last night? I know you are one of the biggest party boys in Pattaya and staying in so close to New Year's Eve makes me worry a bit. Unless you were just resting up for tonight!
  12. LOL No, I drive a motorcycle. GayButton has a car. Traffic is a nightmare here! I am shocked that LMTU didn't get the scoop on this. Shocked I tell you. But, he still thinks that All of Me in Sunee is a go go bar. I think he may have broken his journalistic fingers. But, I did see him with a gaggle of sexy guys a few days ago so he still has the ability to find the superstars. Perhaps they have distracted him from his scoopability? I am glad Happy Boys made you a Happy Man! The bars were pretty dead right after the raid. I am sure that before the end of the night all boys were summoned back to work. It is the peak of their high season. Tonight should be good as boys need money to go to the Pier for a great Thai concert! Lets all go and give them a bit of money to enjoy their New Year.
  13. Happy New Year to all! I hope the year is successful and wonderful for you. The day started off in Pattaya with fireworks at the crack of dawn. Thus, why I am awake so early. It seems like they would wait till tonight. But, no, that is not possible here!
  14. I am happy for them!
  15. How long do you think before the guy ends up dead?
  16. A friend of mine is working with a new talent and sent me the link to his video. I wonder if Justin Beber has something to worry about?
  17. Good Boys in Sunee was raided tonight. It appears that it and the apartment building connected were both raided. Boys were pee tested. The raid sent shockwaves around the Plaza as many boys from other bars then disappeared and left no one on stage. There were about 12-15 police that swarmed the place fast. I am not sure what happened to the boys inside after or the falangs that were there. I was sitting with Gaybutton and we both watched the scene unfold before our very eyes. Many were predicting a raid before the start of the New Year. Tonight was the night.
  18. All I can say is wow! From Day Night 2 to 2nd Road right before Central Festival over 35 minutes on a motorcycle. The lady inside my place said she drove from Walking Street to the building (same distance) in a car and it took them over 3 hours. Watch out this week guys. Traffic is an killer!
  19. I started the thread and I subscribe to all threads that I post in. I never received a notification via e-mail that you responded in this thread. That may mean it was never posted because if posted, the notification e-mail is immediate.
  20. Thank you! That was one trip that I really enjoyed taking photos. But, that was only so I could get my ass off that bicycle seat. I also took so many photos on that trip as it was a charity event and my first time doing something like that. I have done the Aids Lifecycle Ride from SF to LA 4 times. The first time I had thousands of photos. The last time, only about 5. My next adventure (coming soon) will be in a Tuk Tuk. That will also be for charity and I will have to take tons of photos. That is the downsized files. When I first got my new IMac I had over 600,000 images. I won't give the percentage of guys that were in the collection. So, instead of downsizing the collection, I may have to upsize the computer.

  22. LANSING -- Her face became synonymous with women's empowerment, and her death is the passing of an era. Geraldine Doyle of Lansing, whose face became the inspiration behind the iconic World War II image of "Rosie the Riveter," has died, according to her family. A memorial service is planned for 4 p.m., Jan. 8 at Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw St. " 'Rosie the Riveter' is the image of an independent woman who is control of her own destiny," said Gladys Beckwith, former director of the Michigan Women's Historical Center and Hall of Fame. "She was a gracious, beautiful woman. Her death is the end of an era, and we need to take note of that. We need to respect what she stood for."

  25. I agree in part my dear. But, many of us don't take photographs on a regular basis. On my recent trip to Brazil, I only took a few and then stopped. At one point in my life I was a professional photographer and survived on my skills. I find taking photos of buildings, and other things boring. Plus, with my IPhoto gallery over 90,000 images, it is time for me to downsize. My friends from ages ago, I think only Firecat on this board, can tell you that when I first started traveling, I would take tons of images on every trip I took. As time went by, age caught up on me, cameras became boring, and life gets shorter and shorter, I have failed miserable in my photography endeavors. I went into great detail on a recent report on my travel to Brazil. But, my images were not there. I could describe all the beautiful boys I met, all the amazing saunas, etc but I took few images (if any). Perhaps that does devalue my report (I agree) but the report was still of value to many. IMHO (perhaps just my ego thinks so).
