It is such a pity that Reader doesn't post any more. He was always very generous in sharing the news and updates from his extended stays.

Thai and Cambodian Troops Exchange Border Fire
khaolakguy replied to PeterRS's topic in Gay Thailand
Of course national borders(even unmarked and disputed ones) are sacrosanct. -
Much better than thinking of Marlon Brando lubing you up with butter!

I can at least still keep my pecker up! Did you ever get all your STDs sorted?🤣

Care to narrow it down a bit?!

What a pity that your Myanmar guy pushed too hard, and spoilt what could have been an ongoing connection.

Bangkok massage places: advice and recommendations
khaolakguy replied to emiel1981's topic in Gay Bangkok
Not sure that Senso will fulfil requirements. Earlier this year I was staying nearby, walking past it most days, but one visit was enough. My report below in response to someone who was looking for "seemingly straight guys". -
That is a shockingly high percentage.

Surely the cure for baldness is a big cock. Well it's at least the best mitigator!

What do you call a thick customer?

Naked I hope?

That may well be so!

Sorry, it's an old joke referencing a notorious "character" and regular poster on Dreaded Ned who used to bring a torch to the go go bars in Pattaya in order to inspect boys in the toilets for any imperfections before offing them if they passed his test. He probably didn't really exist, but then again stranger customers have been seen, and heard from!

Might need a torch.......

BBC Sounds will be blocked to those living abroad from 21st July.
khaolakguy replied to Ruthrieston's topic in The Beer Bar
That would be a big blow with it being such a part of your routine. All may not be lost however as there seem to be some other access routes to Radio 2 and other stations that are worth exploring. The BBC has said its radio stations will continue to be available for people outside the UK to listen to live after BBC Sounds access is restricted for international listeners. BBC Sounds will close for listeners outside the UK on 21 July 2025. International listeners will be able to listen to the BBC's radio stations through links on the station directory online, the BBC said. This includes the BBC's national stations - BBC Radio 1, Radio 2, and Radio 3, 6Music, 1Xtra and Asian Network, Radio 4Xtra and 5Live - all the stations in Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales and every local radio station in England. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c8j1m721mp2o -
AI seems to think that the priority fast track lane is still available for the over 70's, but first hand information is of course best. Yes, the priority fast track lane for passengers over 70 at Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport is still available in July 2025. This service, along with other priority groups like business class passengers, continues to be offered at the airport's priority lane. Details: Priority Lane: Instead of a separate fast track lane, passengers over 70 are directed to the Priority lane, which is also used by business class and other eligible travelers. Location: This Priority lane is situated to the right of the regular immigration lanes, often indicated by signs like "Thai Passport & Priority". Eligibility: Passengers over 70, along with business class, first class, disabled, and pregnant passengers, are eligible for this service.

Unless P has had previous dealings with lawyers, and to help him avoid falling in with sharks, I would find this lawyer together having done the research and have an initial meeting with him/her in which he can also advise on the usefulness of the marriage and if there are any other steps that can/should be taken. Also worth bearing in mind that probate even on straightforward estates in the UK can take 6-12 months. And of course your bank accounts are frozen for that period.

I read this story not as a man failing to update his will, as oversight, but of a man wilfully not caring what happened to his partner and dependents when he was gone. It was twenty years ffs. What person doesn't think occasionally about his own mortality over that period and wonder what will happen to his dependents after he is gone. He wasn't even leaving the money to family or anyone else. How I can best help my partner in this situation is a matter of my recurring thoughts! I find it hard to believe that at some point there wasn't a conversation between the two of them about the future, in which the deceased would have reassured his partner.....

Congratulations!

It was only a month or so ago when the last ferry sunk near Bali. If I was travelling there I think I would find an alternative mode of transport. At least six people have died and dozens are missing after a ferry sank off Indonesia's tourist island of Bali, rescuers said. The boat was carrying 53 passengers and 12 crew members when it sank at 23:20 local time (15:35 GMT) on Wednesday while on its way to Bali from Banyuwangi on the eastern coast of Java island, the Surabaya office of the National Search and Rescue Agency said. Thirty-one survivors have been rescued, the agency says, as the search continues. However, several reports indicate there may have been more passengers on board than were listed on the official manifest. Authorities are investigating the cause of the sinking. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cew0yz5xw1no

As Vinapu recently reported in the Patpong Comings and Goings thread this is the Dragon & Koi bar(lots of previous reports on that thread) now renamed and with new owner, apparently. https://www.gayguides.com/topic/39457-patpong-comings-and-goings/page/35/#comments
