I think without realising it you are comparing chickens and eggs. Thailand especially is very easy going regarding both homosexuality and the adult sex trade. Hotels and airbnbs etc are open to local sex partners visiting their guests. They have nothing to hide. On the other hand in most of the North African countries discussed in this forum, homosexuality is illegal, sex tourists are unwelcome, and it is illegal to entertain a local in a tourists’ hotel room. By necessity contributors here will be more cautious than they would be in the thai forums in order to protect the underground nature of contacts in these countries.
