I've been coming to Bangkok for about 7 years now. Mostly 1 or 2 weeks. Now retired I did 5 trips last year, several for a month. Now I'm trying a 2 month trip. I flew over last week. Got a Miami-Lax-Hkg-Bkk first class award ticket. You will find thru my postings, I'm a fixture at Hot Male on Soi Twilight. I know a lot of people that work there and it's comfortable for me. Because my trips are longer, I'm not chasing sex 24/7. Do like massages though. Will hit up a few places. Hero,Adonis,Bonney,Prince Got off to a good start this past week. I was here this past Dec and have noticed a few changes to the shows. At Hot Male, all boys are back in underwear. Over the weekend they had lots of nudity, fuck show, and j/o show. But unfortunately, they also raised drink prices upstairs to 380. Don't know if other bars did. I'll find out this week. During the week I caught up with a few old friends that kept me out till 3am. So didn't get to off any boys yet. But have compiled a small list. Friday night I met up with Divinemadman and a friend. We hung around Hot Male for a couple of shows talking and enjoying some good looking boys. I was headed to Hero today. I have a friend that works there that shows me a great time. Just as I was leaving he called and said he decided not to work and would go out with friends for Valentines Day. Oh well. I went out to Scozzi's and had a pizza. No playtime tonight. I've got to makeup a lot of playtime this week. Being here for a couple of months, I plan on getting to Pattaya for a few days. Haven't been in a couple of years. Also planning a trip to Hanoi with friends. I'm bad at posting, but will try to keep it up some. Anyone wants to meet up on Soi Twilight, let me know. I don't go every night, but can always get there in 5 minutes.

Interestly, the bars push the boys to get drinks from the customers. But if the boys had a choice, they would take the 100 baht . Though in most cases they get both. The outdoor bar is 80 for non alcohol drinks and 120 with. Inside with shows and boys, all drinks 380.

Winter time in the US, Time to go looking for some warm sun. Even South Florida has been cold. I got a flight Mia-Lax-Hkg-Bkk in First usuing miles. Great flight over and right on time . For a change I was able to arrive daytime. My flights the last couple of years have been midnight arrivals. This trip arrived 11:30am and was at my apt at 1pm. Unpacked a bit, and hour by the pool and a couple hour nap, decided I might as well head on out to see what's going on. Went to my favorite hangout. Hot Male on Soi Twilight. It's Tuesday night and a bit quiet. As soon as I turned the corner, my friends at the bar saw me. All hugs and kisses, but you can't fool me, those weren't sparkles in their eyes, they were $$$ signs. It was good to see everybody. A couple new boys, a couple of others have moved on. The manager is my good friend and he is already trying to get me set up with a boy for this first night. Told him no. Just spent 30 hours traveling, this is going to be a short evening and alone. I also got quite a bad cold just before I left. Doctor gave me some stuff and I feel good, but I have a cough that just doesn't want to go away. This has slowed me down a bit. Asians can deal with you being sick, but they don't like coughing .. Weather the first couple of nights has been great. 85 days and 60 days. Humidity 35%. So comfortable that I ended up my short evenings around 2am. A $3.00 tip gets you a lot of hugging, kissing, fondling and smiles. So makes it hard to go home with such great weather. Went to the show at Hot Male on Wednesday night. The morals police have lightened up. All boys are back in tight little underware. Some new routines. More nudity than I saw all last year and a couple of sucking routines. It was Chinese New Year last weekend and many boys have gone home for a couple of weeks. It made it kind of nice that some of the newer and very cute boys got to do some shows with the experienced boys being away. Been told boys will start returning in a day or so as the holiday winds down. My BF went to Vietnam and won't be back till next week, so this is my play week. But cold holding me back a bit. Last night (fri) I met up with a couple of posters from another site. They wanted to go to Hot Male show. This time many more customers and boys. They also added a fuck show. So for now, the bars are back to where they were a couple of years ago. Good shows, lots of nudity and sex on stage and lots of Hot Boys. Oh yeah..drink prices up to 380 baht. To expensive. Not sure what tonight will bring, but I saw a boy onstage Wed that was A+. Was told he is straight boy, but is versatile. Also told a bit on smaller side down there, but got a glimpse last night during big cock contest. If that's small......???? These boys are eating well. 7-8 is becoming much more common and thickness is everywhere. More and more boys are going to gyms and some bars have some small weights for them to use. This trip I'm here for 2 months. Will try to post some goings on. Hopefully doing a couple of side trips to Hanoi and Cambodia. Sometimes we are just homebodys and then hit the bars a few nights in a row. So far been happy with the changes I have seen, so will be doing a little exploring the next week or so. it took me a couple of years to be able to post a picture, now will probably take another couple of years to get it right side up. Thanks for the great updates. Hero is my favorite and I get to Adonis a few times. I leave for Bangkok tonight and Hero will be one of my first stops. I have a boy that I have seen many times there. I call him and let him know I'm coming and he meets me at the door. Beats the evening rush.

Bangkok Boys is the worse. Many times the Mamasan will call the waiter over at the same time he is calling the boy over. Mamasan will say, buy boy a drink, before you even say hi to boy. When this happens I say no, till I say hi to boy and get a feel for the situation. If I have boy stay, I order drink, if not, give him 100 and send him on his way. Then tell the Mamasan to slow down

They get a bit of commission.

There is a big announcement in LA tomorrow of major expansion at Lax. It appears they are going to do Lax-Hkg and they need the bigger planes for that among some other stuff.

The Economy in Brazil has caught up to AA. Changes now are just São Paulo. Starting April 5th Miami - São Paulo daytime flight is cancelled and the 3 evening flights are being downsized to old 777 from the newer and bigger 777w.

I love Airbnb. I've been using them for a couple of years and have never had any problems. My trips are all 30 days or more, so much cheaper than a hotel. With long stays it's great having a kitchen. Just my opinion.

I'll mostly agree with you about Hero, but you can do very well with 1000-1500. It takes me 2 days to spend 4000. I have been to Rio many times so I do have a good feel for the differences.

I don't want to get into the Asain thing in the Brazilian forum again, but if you paid those kind of prices in Thailand, you need to work on your negotiating skills. I spent 5 months in Thailand this past year didn't pay anywhere those prices.

Still better than most of us will look in 50 years......

If price is very important, the Chinese airlines have been offering some great deals this winter. Usually midweek flights. Good luck with retirement. All my trips were 7-10 days. Then I retired and now all my trips are 30 days or more. Just don't spend all your money the first week. With 30 days you can pace yourself.

Firecat you just hit on my biggest point for using Uber. There are some Soi's in Bangkok where taxis don't go. Hero is my best example. I always take taxi going somewhere because it is easy to get at my apt. But if no taxi when I leave somewhere, Uber (or grabtaxi) are invaluable. Rain is another story. No taxis, but Uber shows up.

Yes, it has definitely made a huge change for me. I used to wait till night time to go out and find some fun. Now the boys are texting me all day long. The only problem is when they call or text when I'm back in the US. They don't really understand the 12 hour time difference. So when they start getting up in the afternoon, it's middle of the night here.

Have you checked out Airbnb. Lots of places to chose from. I use them in Bangkok with great luck. Your budget might be a bit low for the amenities your looking for.

I use Uber to get to the airport when home in Ft.Lauderdale and now swear by it. I have the opposite taxi situation in Bangkok, the taxis flow past my apt and it takes about a minute to get one. So no need for Uber. Then one day I was at Hero Massage. Sometimes it's hard to get taxi there. Lots of times taxi or tuk tuk will just take you to skytrain. I decided to try Uber one day a few months ago. Worked great. Show up right to the driveway. And you can follow the car coming to you online. Some days I wouldn't go to Hero just because I didn't want to deal with getting a ride back. Now not an issue. Taxi cost 150-200. Uber has been around 125. Less than $4.00 us. In the US it would be over $25.00. Transportation in Thailand is a great bargain. Oz, also check out grabtaxi. They have more service, but use taxis. I like Uber because the use mostly newer cars which is nice.

Oz, I wish I knew you were headed there and looking for a bottom. I would have sent advance warning you were coming. The Vietnamese boys are great tops, but they don't like bottoming. I got a message from a friend today that my boy lost his phone yesterday. I sent a message back that I'm not buying him one, until and maybe when I get back in Feb. but if he gets a phone, I'm going to push him a bit and ask if he knows if any if the Vietnamese boys will bottom for a price.

As you know, I have a good connection with most all of the Vietnamese bar boys there. Unfortunately I don't know any of them that will bottom. I'm not into that, so it's not an issue for me.

i think what your looking for is there, but you might have to spend a little time looking. Your size won't matter to them at all. Your not going to find what you would call large in Brazil. 7"-8" is becoming much more common, I think 9"-10" would be a difficult find. Also I think twink in Asia is a bit different than twink in Brazil. You'll find a boy in Bangkok that you will think a beautiful twink and then find out he is 28. On good weekends, (Nov is beginning of high season with lots of new boys) there can be a pool of close to 1000 boys to chose from. I think you will find what your looking for.

Try the ap. WeChat. You can text with a boy and it translates each text. It's easy to carry a full conversation.
