Maxi’s and Hot Male say they are open till April 15. Dreamboys Twilight was saying last night that they are staying open till the end of April. But considering last night there were no customers we will have to see if they hang in there till the end.

as of tonight only 3 places left open. Dreamboys, Hot Male and Maxi’s. With most of the bright lights turned off Twilight was very dark. Few unsuspecting tourists walking thru were surprised but told places to see in Patpong and they quickly walked off. No customers at Dreamboys or Hot Male around 10. I hung out at Maxi’s from 8-10. Anywhere from 5 customers to none. Quick drink and gone. No food was served in the 2 hours I was there. I have a hard time believing there will be anything to see in a couple of weeks, there were some workmen in FreshBoys taking things apart. A few Massageboys from Bangkok Massage were cleaning out lockers. One mention they will have new location in about a month and that most of the guys have gone home and will come back for new place. A lawyer working for the Soi was wandering around with a couple of police officers. They were just checking that everyone that was supposed to be gone was. It was said that tomorrow they will wall off the right hand side of the Soi. If it looked dark and depressing tonight, tomorrow will really be depressing.

As of 10pm tonight there were no customers in Dreamboys Twilight. And with very little foot traffic hard to believe they will have much going on.

At 10pm when show started many customers. When show ends many leave. The time of night can be important in crowd count.

Talking to boys at Bangkok Massage last night they were closing up shop with no place to move. Today a different story. Seems they may have found a place in Patpong. Story developing.

Bangkok Massage at the moment has no plans. I asked a couple of boys there the other night where will they go. They said no jobs lined up but will look when the place closes. Bangkok Massage and XBoys have same ownership. Some rumblings that they were looking at something in Patpong 2. I don’t take to much stock in this rumor just yet. Some long term XBoys staff have found new jobs, so it doesn’t sound like they were waiting around for something to happen.

FreshBoys Twilight is moving upstairs over Banana Bar Soi 4 in a partnership April 4. FreshBoys Patpong will remain open.

It’s just words lost in translation. It’s their 1 year anniversary party.

A lot of us have 1 bedroom condos. Why would a hotel suite be any different. You always need to be aware of your surroundings but I wouldn’t be concerned about a hotel suite.

I watched most of it and thought it was fun. Music covers so much territory now there are always going to be people that will complain. Social media just allows people to hate. Overall it seemed most people liked it.

The only issue you will have is they probably won’t serve alcohol that day. Unrest is a long shot , but it would probably be near the government buildings or possibly Grand Palace area. Neither of which is anywhere near the Gay entertainment areas. I don’t know any of my friends that are regulars that are altering their plans. I’ll be there and not worried. Just keep up with the news to be aware of what’s going on, but I wouldn’t change my plans. I can understand your concern as a first timer , but there are a lot of us that live there or spend a lot of time there. Feel free to post or pm if you have any questions or concerns.

I arrive a couple days after the election. I’ve talked to friends if they thought there may be any issues that week and everyone says things will be fine. Now this morning everyone’s thoughts have changed to it may be a very rough week. PM Prayut wants at all costs keep his job. But he need to go. I remember one coup sitting in the bars watching a few tanks rolling down the street. People barely look up. Now the last few years political rally’s have become a bit more violent. The next month is going to be really interesting.

It’s definitely a pain and going to be time consuming. But it’s not much different than now needing to give passport info for SIM card, or the immigration landing card asks for phone number and email addresses. They’re going to keep track of us one way or an other.
