The high season in Thailand started this weekend. Totally lived up to its hype. The weather is perfect. Rain and humidity gone. The crowds returned to the gay venues in Bangkok this weekend. Most gogo’s and bars doing brisk business and an abundance of new working guys from all over SE Asia.

Tonight was probably the busiest night Twilight has seen in awhile. High season is coming in strong. Just about full houses everywhere tonight.

You need to use the word ME and not WE. If you find everything outrageous, so be it. Many do not.

I’ve stayed out of this conversation as I’ve heard nothing. Though it seems to me if Twilight were to close in 3 days, there might be a bit of panick among the 500 or so people that would be loosing their jobs. Last night was business as usual and tonight almost business as usual as everybody has to close at midnight for Buddhist Holiday. So let’s see what happens Thursday.

Wednesday is a big Buddhist Holiday. Police came thru tonight and said everything must close. Twilight, Soi 4 and Patpong. Midnight Tuesday . They changed their rules about 3 times tonight, but it does seem pretty certain all will be closed Wednesday.

You always come to Thailand for a two week trip. This past trip you wanted to see if you could do it for one week and have good time. You have stated it was successful trip. Now the Ultimate Challenge. The weekend trip for Senso. Leave Friday, arriving Saturday. Couple Senso Massages Saturday night. Fly home Sunday. ✈✈

I understand the police were out again tonight in Patpong and Silom. I was in Twilight and didn’t see any police. But did have a little trouble getting taxi as like last night there were police cars parked on Surawong and taxis wouldn’t park outside Twilight or Patpong. Last night when I saw police checking passports, Yes it was obvious they were more interested in darker skinned people.

There was a huge police presence tonight from Silom to Patpong to Surawong. Immigration police, tourist police and Bang Rak police. Many police cars parked on Surawong from Burger King headed up to Twilight. Taxis usually parked in front of Patpong were nowhere to be found. I went into Jupiter about 10pm, I have a friend that works there . He told me police were in earlier. Most of the boys were fully clothed and no one was wearing numbers. Some took their shirts off for quick runway walk. When I left there were immigration police everywhere in Soi 4. I counted over 20 but there were more. They were checking passports of customers seated at the bars. Randomly though. Walked into Patpong headed to Screwboys. Same thing, Police entire length of street . My friend at Screwboys said police came into bars early, but late not bothering inside, just checking customers walking around outside. I left Screwboys to get taxi on Surawong. So many police cars parked and police officers standing at front of Patpong I ended up walking to Twilight to get taxi. Some tuk tuks at Patpong, but hard to get taxis. There had to be between 50-75 officers that I saw. Most just walking around with a few stopping people to look at passports. Mostly immigration officers so I assume part of the crackdown on illegals that has been going on. All started after 10pm and I got taxi at 12:30 and they were still going strong. In all my years I have seen police raids and police presence but nothing like tonight.

I did my visa extension with a trip to Hanoi last week. I find it easier to leave the country than go to the Bangkok immigration office.

Bonney Massage, next to where Dicks was, closed supposedly for good tonight. Owner could no longer pay staff. We will have to see as these places have a way of reopening.

Don’t know about Classic, but Scorpion Bar is still there. Not much going on. A couple of boys working there for tips only. More than a couple of customers at a time is a good night.

Hot Male downstairs bars just stopped paying their bar boys. They now work on tips only and most have left. Only a couple boys in sight at a Hot Male and Hot Male 2 . Not good. Up stairs they have gone back to their Thai boys only working. I haven’t been up recently but heard it’s slow. Both Hot Male and Banana Bar have been quiet most evenings during the slow season, but they do get a little bump after midnight. XBoys and Freshboys have been very up and down. They both have some very hot boys in all sizes and shapes. They seem fully stocked for high season. The customers just haven’t arrived yet. Thursday Friday and Saturday have been good nights, the other nights quite slow. Over the past month you can see new boys arriving almost daily looking for work. Now, to many boys, not enough work. FreshBoys has all new management. They seem to start the shows at 10pm even if 1 customer. The 2 ladyboys run back and forth to FreshBoys 2 in Patpong as they do shows at both places. XBoys shows start between 10:30 and 11, depending on customer count. Though always seem to end up with decent crowd by end of show. Bangkok Massage has been doing very well. Chinese customers don’t off much, but they like massages and consistently have been using Bangkok Massage. Many come out of Dreamboys then go up for massage. This was a long holiday weekend and Bangkok was empty of people, so off to a very slow beginning of the week. Dreamboys still does very well overall. It has its off night here and there, but better than average crowds. Not many changes. Maxis Restaurant has been doing very well. Consistently busy between 8 to midnight. They just added a new experienced waiter last night as they get ready for the end of rainy season. Screwboys has great selection of boys. For some reason it’s been a bit slow customer wise the last couple of weeks, but prior to that they were doing very well. FreshBoys 2 in Patpong has its ups and downs. Some really good nights, some really slow nights. You just need to go and see what is happening on your night. So right now there are a lot of boys working and a lot of boys looking for work. All hoping for good high season.

I stayed in on Sunday night catching up on some stuff before I head off to Hanoi tomorrow.

Fortunately I have a better calculator than you do Christian and can do much better. If I was to waste my time with a trip to Pattaya how many Vietnamese boys would I find ?

My cards cover all bank fees. Up until Sept my bank allowed me 5 transactions per month which was never a problem. But starting a month ago it’s now unlimited atm use with no bank fees. Works out good as I don’t have to take out large amounts of cash at any one time. Don’t have to worry about any exchange booth issues.

Only Xsize and Dicks closed in Twilight. Xsize rebranded as G-Boy across the street. Banana Bar, Hot Male, Hot Male 2, XBOYS, FreshBoys, Dreamboys, Classic. Bangkok Massage, Bonny Massage Maxis Restaurant. As September has ended and hopefully early October will start to see the winding down of the rain that has been messing things up lately , there has been signs of an uptick of Business. Several forum members have returned for winter. Most bars and clubs Stocked with lots of boys, some new and many from years past. XBoys and Freshboys dropped prices from 400 to 350

Soi Twilight

I was talking tonight to some boys at Bangkok Massage in Twilight. They get 500 for house and minimum 500 tip. But out call goes to 700 for house, 2000 for boy. For what it’s worth, they have been very busy lately. Been staying open till 1:30 instead of 1am.

Z909 are you saying every forum member here and ever customer coming to Thailand is fully versatile and should expect full service from every boy, including Thai, Cambodian, Loa, and Myanmar? I think this is Highly unlikely. As I read the boards many people like many different things. I read many posts that say, I don’t bottom or I don’t top. Do you get full service from every boy you have ever met in Thailand? If you do that is great. But I have my doubts. I’m not going to disagree with you that the percentage of Vietnamese giving what you want isn’t higher than other groups. But also there are many on this board that do enjoy the company of the Vietnamese boys and do quite well. To answer your last question , yes there are some great qualities I enjoy in the Vietnamese community. As they are with boys from the other SE Asian countries.

I have only used Airbnb for the last 5 years. The place I use includes everything. Water, electric, WiFi when staying months at a time having a washing machine in the condo is great. I’m not a breakfast person so don’t miss that part of a hotel. Much more room than a hotel room. Much more privacy. Like anything else price can be determined by location. Prices in the Surawong, Silom, Sathorn area are going up for everything. Restaurants, hotels and condos. Still some great bargains if you look just outside this area. At this point in my life I’ll pay a little extra for convenience. Can only speak for Bangkok as I never go to Pattaya. But better bargains there.

It was a pleasure meeting up with you Alex. All I can say is Vinapu I think I’ve found your match. Let’s just say that Alex had many action packed days and evenings and probably knows more about the boys in Screwboys than the Mamasans. We both have many friends in the Vietnamese community and all of our friends know each other so some fun times where had. Z909 yes your right . There is very much a love hate relationship with the Vietnamese boys. If your looking for a full service evening, it probably isn’t going to happen. Takes a lot of work to find the few that will give that to you. But as Alex eluded to, we have know many of these boys for years. It takes a certain comfort level for them to open up. Almost all the Vietnamese are straight boys. You need to find the ones that aren’t. There are a few more showing up on the apps lately that don’t work in the bar scene. Much more openness in the apps.

That’s they way it has been in Bangkok this last week. Rain starts just after 8. Boys at work waiting for customers. One problem offing in rain....Boys really don’t like getting their hair wet. ☔️

Screwboys has been a full house tonight since about 9:30. Friday and Saturday nights in Bangkok were a bit off because of rain, but tonight was pretty good.
