Since we pm'ed on sgt a few years ago, I passed through and stayed in Chumphon province several times and thought of you. Please tell us the story how you ended up there and came to build a house.

I went to Babylon Songkran in 2013 (?). Big mistake. There was a queue, nay a waiting area where I and about 100 others had to wait about 1 hour to get into the sauna, while being occasionally hosed with water by staff. In the sauna cramped, but nobody particularly my type, and anyway the mood was more for party than for sex. And I don't like the feeling of being wet for too long, and it gets cold quickly. Like all my other songkran experiences, it was awful.

Mirrors my experiences. After all the work I put into online dating, and then meeting (I still do those cat-and-mouse game where I meet the boy at a place and time of his convenience, which often entails erring around for an hour and multiple phone calls) those I want to meet again are not interested, and those I could meet again (for money) were not what I was looking for.

I never experienced overcharging in Taiwan or Myanmar, and cannot imagine tourists being overcharged in Germany, France, the UK, or Switzerland. I was in Eros on 19jan2018, 21:12-21. There was no beach party, boys in the usual shorts (ugly by my standards), and none my type, and poor light. Eros remains at the bottom of my list of Sunee gogo bars.

Agree with all the above. Comparison of Classic Boys Bangkok and Winner Boys Pattaya this month: Classic Boys up to 30 customers, entertained by about 20 gogo boys and tended by about 20 fully dressed staff, drink price 380 THB regular, can be negotiated down to 300 THB. Winner Boys 14 customers, 8 gogo boys, 5 fully dressed staff, drink price 79 THB for soft drink. Even before going into off fees and tip expectations, I can make my choice: get on the bus to Pattaya!

That varies widely from bar to bar. I never sit that long with a boy, so the question does not arise for me.

Agree with everyone else who said your reports are interesting, but you are grossly overtipping. Similar happened to me with my first off in 2010 in Pattaya. I made the mistake of walking the boy through Walking Street (as if he didn't know it is there), and back in my room before I can do anything, call from mamasan "the boy has to visit his sick mother in hospital tomorrow morning and has to leave now". At that time I was naive and paid him 700 THB (all Thai currency I had at that moment, else it would have been more, but in hindsight 700 is far too much). From that experience I derived a basic rule: sex first, talk later. So a short time off is rather to be seen as hiring the boy for maximum three hours, and what you do during this time (eating, drinking, disco, Walking Street / Khao San / wherever, or heaven forbid sex) is up to you, but you have to pay the expected short time tip. Occasionally a boy tells me has only time until xxx, then I reply: "Ok, don't come to my room / we don't go to my room. Meet another day when you have time." And in all cases so far, the issue miraculously resolved somehow. Nowadays I off boys between 21 and 23, so I can go to bed and sleep midnight or 1, and more importantly there is no hurry from the boy, because all he will do is go back to the bar. Whereas if I offed midnight, and finish activities 1 am, then the boy's mind would be on eating, drinking, meeting friends. Absolutely! You just have to pack the offer in the right way, that it is fun. A friend had groups of boys, some of them working in Soi Twilight gogo bars, for eating, drinking, watching Muay Thai on TV, for 500 per boy four just attendance (naked!) and 700 for those who fuck him. That has been going on for years, out of a pool of over 20 boys (my estimate) up to five show up, and they bring friends, and some disappear (so the 20 in the pool change over the months). You did a good job! Not much I can add, rather the other way round, a lot to learn for me. How do you get to those places further away? That would be an easy task for me, but I remember what an effort I had to put in to find out-of the way saunas in Saigon or Jakarta, places I'm not familiar with.
