I had bed bugs in August in Myanmar. As I might stay at that place again, I will email them to do something about it. Upon return to Bangkok, I put all my clothes in a plastic bowl and pured boiling water (from water boiler for tea or coffee) over them to kill all bugs or eggs. Sansuk is rather more upscale than the place I stayed at, and I have never read or heard about bed bugs in Thailand before.

In the course of one hour, never more than 10 boys is poor. That is not the only time I went and they were low on boys. Admittedly, I usually go early (between 20 and 23), there might be more later. Still, for further visits keep in mind: have a close look first, and if low number and nobody sticking out, skip.

Please tell us where you got that information. As far as I can see, nobody goes hungry in Thailand. If they really run out of money it's mismanagement or misappropriation (spending money that should be used for food or rent on booze, cigarettes, drugs, taxi rides instead of walking or bus), not poverty.

By chance (invitation by a friend, else I would not have gone, not even known about this place) I went on Fri 10nov2017 about 1 to 2 am. Music level is bearable without earplugs, and real chairs and tables are nice, but unfortunately smoking is allowed. You are deluding yourself. The boy who stole about 6000 THB from posted on facebook that he will be buy a new mobile phone and will get drunk. My acquaintance who stole about 6000 THB was owner of a house and a car, and if he hadn't stolen from his abbot friend and embezzled temple money, which lead to him being jailed, I would still suspect the driver or the nephew to be the thief. The other cases of theft were smaller amounts, but I doubt any of it was used for purposes I would approve of. There are gay scenes in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap, and maybe Sihanoukville (I haven't been). Siem Reap more commercial, in saunas in Phnom Penh for free. No gogo bars, but various saunas, host bars, massage places to choose from. Depends on your lifestyle. If you are sedentary, you can log into some businesses WiFi if you are customer there, but I'm usually on the move, and need SIM for data connection.

Not just Health Massage in Silom 64 building, Playboy and Sukhothai (?) massage on Silom road under BTS closed about a year ago. There seems to be movement of massage parlors from Silom to Surawong (with several new opening in the course of one year).

General note: the more specific your question, the better the answers you will get. Reading some trip reports would be a good start to give you an idea of what Bangkok has to offer.
