  1. The only sleaze bars in Bangkok are Nature Boys and Super A (recent experiences). Nature Boys can seat about 5 customers and there might be as little as 2 boys and up to 5 boys. Super A has 10-15 boys on average. Nearby Golden Cock has boys fully dressed, not interesting for me. About Soi Twilight bars, recent visits to some of them were largely a disappointment (details see my blog). If you spend time in Pattaya, I would say it's not worth going to bars in Bangkok. (I live in Bangkok and go to Pattaya to visit bars!). No fuck shows at the moment (doesn't interest me anyway, but the drink price is the same), foreign boys in jeans or fully dressed (a big turn off for me). If you go to a bar in Twilight, take a good look before sitting down and ordering a drink. (I can't comment on Dream Boys, Jupiter, Tawan as I haven't been for years as they are too expensive or not my style.) Granted, it's low season both in Bangkok and Pattaya, but at least prices are reasonable in Pattaya. I noticed that plenty of boys (among them some cute massage and Vietnamese boys) spend time at the pool tables on the ground floor under X-Size. Can't blame them when business is slow, but neither they nor their bar will get business from me when they are at the pool tables. DJ station on Fri and Sat night (there is a show 11:30 to 12:00, ladyboy lipsync, as far as I remember) is crowded. Difficult to move around, I avoid these days. GOD (now G Bangkok) is a horrible place. Expensive entry (300 Baht), and smoking inside and crowded. I have been to Thai style discos as a single customer many times (Wave, App Arena, G-Star, Fake, details in my blog). They would be perfect on a Sat (full but not crowded, coyote boy and other show). "Best news is that apparently Golden Cock opens up in the afternoon, so that will probably be my first stop." Kind of. They have some live-in boys who they will wake up if a customer comes in the afternoon. "Hands on fun also to be had at Super A and Screw Boys." Super A definitely, but Screw Boys is normal operation, I haven't witnessed any sleaze in 4 visits over the last 18 months. Have you thought of saunas? There is Farose 2 in Ramkhamhaeng (on the way to airport, so you could take all your luggage and depart directly from the sauna) which has not the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance, but is quite an experience, and should be busy on Sat to Sun night midnight, with group activity in darkrooms.
  2. I can access the website and log in (registered years ago).
  3. ...almost stepped on the giant monitor lizard crossing the walkway. We were both scarred for a few seconds. You (both) were scared, not scarred. Mirrors in massage room (Senso) is a good idea. I remember mirrors only from (forgot the name at that time - 2012 (?) - now JJ massage (?) in Silom Soi 1 (? - the short dead end soi). Most short time hotels have mirrors, unfortunately I am shortsighted, so I have to use my glasses to see the mirror image clearly.
  4. Two phones would be difficult to keep apart, especially since the boyfriend would have to be aware of your spy app and would have to use the spied-upon mobile in an innocent, but realistic way. How did you get access to his phone and how do you understand messages in Thai?
  5. I have read about such apps elsewhere and know there are detectives who check on Thai girls while their foreign boyfriend is abroad. But if you have to resort to such means because you don't trust your partner or begrudge him extramarital (here applied to relationship without marriage) sex (are you faithfull during your absence?), then there must be something fundamentally wrong with you. Skip the app and try a chastity belt! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chastity_belt
  6. The bell in Mingun was the largest functioning bell until 2000. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_heaviest_bells Largest brick building in the world could be Malbork Castle (Ordensburg Marienburg in German) in Poland http://www.architectureanddesign.com.au/features/list/largest-brick-buildings-around-the-world-infograph or Albi Cathedral (Cathedral Basilica of Saint Cecilia) in France http://www.slideshare.net/SearchQuestEuropeLtd/beautiful-brick-the-tallest-largest-and-loveliest-brick-structures-in-the-world or Jetavanaramaya stupa in Sri Lanka http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jetavanaramaya (and many more on the internet).
  7. But do you (kokopelli) have personal experience with organizing an orgy with a payload of seamen/semen?
  8. There is the famous Atlanta Hotel which has a police no sex tourists (regardless of bringing guests or not), and I once stayed at the Sunflower Place Silom Soi 6 which had a "no joiner" policy (in Soi 6, of all places, diagonally across Super A). But in the vast majority it should be no problem at all, and I recommend choosing a place that has no joiner fee. Tips have been discussed extensively here and elsewhere, I agree with gaybutton's numbers. For massage with happy ending, I tip 1000 in Bangkok same as in Pattaya and never had problems.
  9. That budget 500-1000 is ok for street trade or Pattaya, but would probably be rejected at any Soi Twilight bar. If you budget were infinite, you could simply go in any of Soi Twilight bars and pay 500 Baht off fee and 1500 (or now raised to 2000?) short time tip per boy. Two years ago, I had kind of orgy (three mocy taxi drivers from Hua Lampong in a nearby short time hotel - rather boring as each of them was wanking to porn on the TV, from gay porn I had the idea that they might fall over each other - for 300 Baht each, the hotel was rather expensive at 650 Baht). My suggestion is to go to Saranrom (street trade) and round up as many boys as you like (or as fit into one taxi) and go to a nearby short time hotel. Going rate is 500 Baht, the boys might be reluctant to be nude in presence of other boys and some boys like to have the light switched off for sex, but that can all be discussed in advance. Street trade defines place (Saranrom) and time (9-midnight). If you want other time and place, you would have to make arrangements and see who shows up.
  10. What is your budget? What kind of boys are you looking for? A friend of mine has similar interests, he once had all boys in a gay massage place in Phnom Penh cum on him (or sucked all of them? I don't remember what exactly he told me). Contrary to gaybutton, I think place is not problem (I would offer my room for free if I can watch or participate), but finding boys and agreeing to a reasonable price.
  11. There's a recent report by Jellybean on Sawatdeenetwork.
  12. The restaurant moved to where the Mali was (about 100 m south of Malaysia hotel, then turn right), they don't offer accommodation any more.
  13. In any of the gay bars, that will cost you some money, the 200 Baht per participant suggest for Eros is probably the cheapest, and there will be only a few bars who agree to that. I remember a group wanking event in Crusing Sauna Ratchayothin, about 20 customers (none of them my type) and me standing in a circle and wanking, then it dissolved into groups, but some participant got cum on by several others. But it's a question of being at the right place at the right time. ButterballBruce's suggestion seems the most reasonable (in a bar you would have to consider other customers). However all my attempts to get get local boys to my room have been in vain. Bruce, do you have personal experience?
  14. I stayed there two or three times last year and was happy with the room. Regular rate is 800 Baht per night, in summer they had a special for 499 (which was extended without me asking for it after the deadline, but once I think I paid 800 Baht, which was my most costly hotel room in the last 4 years). Some rooms are directly above the bars, but I sleep around 1 or 2 am, so it doesn't bother me. However not recommended if you want to sleep early. No joiner fee, no ID check.
  15. That's correct. There is no original Thai word for "free", only circumscriptions according to my dictionary. That depends on the venue. The extremes are 10% gay or 90% gay. However when you go online, I think the vast majority is gay, I am not aware of a single straight boy who works in a bar or massage who has a profile on gay websites or apps.
  16. Nor is there a Thai word for heterosexual, straight or whatever you would call it (or I haven't encountered it yet). But there is a Thai word for "free" : ฟรี which is taken from English and spelled in Thai. I understand "gay for pay" as a boy who is straight, but has gay sex for money. There are people who prefer gay money boys, but for me it makes no difference if I pay a gay boy who would not have sex with me for free or a straight boy who would not have sex with me for free.
  17. That's indeed a cemetery behind and next to Om Yim. Details here: http://khunbaobao.blogspot.de/2011/09/memories-of-911-in-old-bangkok-cemetery.html
  18. I sometimes have a foot massage (1 hour) after a day of walking or to observe coming and going in a massage place (to check if there are cute boys around for more next time). I wear shorts anyway in Thailand, food massage goes up to knees. If you wear long trousers, roll them up to your upper calves. Fott massage usually ends with head and shoulder massage. Beware of places that have no chairs for foot massage! I had such a case in Silom Soi 1, JJ massage, when it was Semra (?) some years ago. I was led to a massage room and lay on my back with legs at an angle. Not comfortable and nothing to see!
  19. Outcalls to hotel from massage or gogo? I advice against doing so, you will pay more and have limited choice and can't check in real life first. There are some massage places that offer outcall, but for a newcomer I recommend going to massage parlor.
  20. My passport was stolen on Songkran 2013 in Silom area. Subsequently I searched the web and asked around in Khao San for stolen passports (my idea was a rummage table with stolen passports, from which I could fish for mine and pay maybe 1000 Baht in case of success - I was wrong). There were some hints about availability of stolen passports, but money mentioned (in the range of 50,000 Baht, payable in advance) deterred me from following these hints.
  21. I wonder if the North Korean workers see any of the money they earn. I guess their government takes it and pays them in NK currency. There must be problems with people disappearing (i.e. they stay and work illegally in that country), however if construction site is far enough out in the desert or run like a prison, it's difficult to escape.
  22. Moon House (Sri Bam Pen opposite Ibis Hotel) has basic rooms from 450 Baht per night. At the end of Sri Bam Pen there is The Blooms, quite cheap as well. Monthly starts from 5000 as far as I remember.
  23. Taxi from Sathorn to South Pattaya starts at 1100 Baht including toll. Details on my blog: http://christianpfc.blogspot.com/2015/03/pattaya-feb-2015.html (one for BKK to PTY and another PTY to BKK). A friend had a day trip (PTY to German embassy to PTY) for 2000.
  24. Yes. Three times so far. These places are usually not found on the internet. I was looking for rooms in Sathorn area last year, all details here: http://christianpfc.blogspot.com/2014/05/looking-for-room-in-sathorn.html In your case, it would be imperative that the room comes with a refrigerator and WiFi (you would not want to buy a refrigerator and arrange a contract for internet - minimum duration 1 year - for a 3 month stay).
  25. Indeed, not that it is mentioned: Songkran 2013 I was living in Lak Si. Bus to Chatuchak was no problem, but at BTS I had to queue about 30 minutes to change notes to coins (beginner's mistake), and then another 30 minutes to buy a ticket, and then again at the gate, and at the train! ChristianPFC's Songkran advice: only walking (not taxi, bus, MRT, BTS)!
