Not Me new BL series started today.

 

 

Generation Y season 2 started this week with most of the lovely crew of 2 Moons series and partly based on the same plot.

 

 

I am way behind with all the new series. I guess its my own fault, why did I go on holiday to Thailand and have no time for watching series.

Bite Me (2021)

At the beginning I liked it, but then the story evolved a bit too slowly and Aek was so cold to Aue. Even though Aek is pretty cute, I liked the side couple Vich+Prem more.

What I really liked though were the amazing food pictures. According to the special episode (behind the scenes), they even opened a shop for online delivery where you could order the menu they cooked in the series, so you could watch the series while eating their food, what a great idea!

Next, I will finish watching "Baker Boys", which I loved from the first second of episode 1, and catch up with "Bad Buddy", which, while E1 and E2 were so so, is great from episode 3 on!

I need to catch with those too, it looks that taking Thai trip actually reduces zest for watchin BL series at least for a while after return.

Too bad "Bite Me" does not have any "Bed" scenes!! But I liked that the plot was more substantial and really developed several of the stories. And the production quality was excellent. They actually built that Kitchen for the series and then ripped it out with finished. I see the producer, Dream and Destiny, has indicated they will have four new series in 2022. Cannot find any details as to then they will be available.

I started to watch this series yesterday not quite BL series but one of the main couple there are gay secretly in love , Jojo Tichakorn the director of Freind Zone and Gay OK Bangkok is very talented director is the director and screenwriter here. Seems promising .

Not sure about this one. With Mike Chinnarat (I like) and Krist Perawat (I don't like, but I will give him a second chance). Story sounds a bit like Groundhog Day. I actually thought Krist stopped doing BL series?

I  did and can't say I particularly liked it.

But with Earth and Mix in two series and season 2 of My Engineer focusing on Ram / King your 2022 looks great as far as BL are concerned.

Sadly it needs to be said after spending almost month in Thailand in Dec watching real thing  my interest in BL after return home decreased a bit , hope it's just temporary.

and I loved it. Pretty weird crime story but very entertaining! Awesome sweets, this series made me truly become a diabetic:

 

This is Pooh, Punns clumsy bodyguard. One of the 4 main characters (but I thought his role is just a bit too stupid):

 

This is Weir, played by Singto, charming as always, but still not my favorite. Even though he is very dominant in the series, it is not a BL series:

 

This is Punn, the owner of the Cafeteria, played by Lee Thanat. Cute, and some forum members fall for his clear pronunciation, but he is still not my favorite:

 

Finally my favorite, Krating, played by Pluem Purin, would love to see him in a real BL series:

I started watching "Not me", highly promising series including some social critisism. Not sure yet if it is a real BL series, but with Off-Gun as main leads what else could it be? Nice to see Off in the role of a "tough guy". The sound track reminds me of "Theory of Love".

I am a bit disappointed from this series the great cast was promising but the plot is weird and sometimes boring, However I watched the whole series because I like the actors .

There's a ton of Korean BLs on the way too. Definitely follow BLUpdate2022 if you are on Twitter.

Bad Buddy  finished today, 

I expected it to be more dynamic based on the trailer but still interesting and entertaining and truth to be told , I can look at Ohm Phawat and his acting to no end. Kissing scene at end of episode 5 was great!

The first two episodes were tidieous I almost gave up but from the third episode the series become very interesting and I am impressed ! wonderful cast and sophisticated plot making it one of the best Thai series I watched recently .

Just began watching "You're My Sky". Thai seres, but I think you have to pay to get it from the Viki Web site. I downloaded it from a Torrent Site. It is a more traditional BL Story, focused on College and Sports. Most enjoyable!!

Well, I pay for Netflix and GagaOOLala now, so I could not add Viki. And many of the producers, like StarHunter are charging to watch the Episode NOW rather than in a few weeks.

GOD will BL Videos be going the way of the BIG STREAMING sites??  😉
