Even now it can be very dangerous particularly for older people, but the world has learnt to live with it and there are vaccines. The same will apply to Covid19 tests reveal that many have unknowingly had it and many more just have very mild symptoms. I would not mind either in exchange for a few nights with a hot Asian boy. Maybe a trip in the autumn might be possible to Thailand / Phillipines if the gay scene has been re-established. The boys in brown must be missing their tea money and tourist revenue is vital for SE Asian economies.The aviation industry will want to revive.

I wonder when dust will settle finally we may find that in may places virus and lockdown saved more lives than took away ? Thailand with her deadly roads, particularly over Songkran may be prime beneficiary. Go figure, coffin makers complaining about loss of business during pandemic.

I would also be very happy to get Covid19 with mild symptoms, however the difficult part is how to ensure I get mild symptoms. It seems quite probable that a low dose of the virus increases the odds, but there is no conclusive data. Also how to get a low dose is another question. Alternatively, if the calculation is changed from death rate, to years "lost" by premature death, the net effect of Covid would certainly be reduced.
