Members Lucky Posted October 23, 2024 Members Posted October 23, 2024 The Gay Pride Parade is on June 22d. I tried to book the Renaissance Hotel, but it is already sold out. Looking at other Sao Paolo Marriotts, they are all sold out! Already! UPDATE: So I went to Capital One's Travel section and the Renaissance was there for $231 a night. I was going to book it, but I had to pay right now, even though it is a cancellable reservation. Should I book it just to be sure? They were going to let me use my $300 travel credit toward it, but not my points. Hmm. I'm not even sure I would go, but the thought of so many hot Brasilian guys in one place, mostly shirtless, is quite appealing. The reservation would be for June. The $300 credit expires in March, so I cancel after March I assume I lose the $300. Quote
Savage88 Posted November 7, 2024 Posted November 7, 2024 you should definitely book it before its too late Quote

Members BlkSuperman Posted December 26, 2024 Members Posted December 26, 2024 You LUCKY LITTLE WHORE! Heyyyyyyyyy, maybe that's why your handle on this app is @Lucky #hmmmmmm! Lol! I heard about SP pride last year and was told to book IMMEDIATELY as the hotels tend to fill up QUICKLY when the precious year's pride ends. After Manu, my Rio connect, told me how crowded the saunas were and how the guys come from all over brazil to SP, I knew I had to go. I had a few acquaintances go to Pride in june. They are sluts like me and they told me in June to book for 2025. I was fortunate enough to get an airbnb in Jardins/Jardins (?) and book decent seats in business class from Miami. I am too stoked about this trip as I was told that this is the 2nd BIGGEST event in Brazil behind Formula 1 racing. I told that the saunas I'm Rio look like haunted houses because all of the guys are in SP for pride. Most airbnbs don't allow you to bring visitors back so make sure your host will allow guests. Hope you're having an AMAZING HOLIDAY. REMEMBER: When life gets you down, SUCK A DICK AND BE HAPPY! 😀 Lucky and TheBossBabyback 1 1 Quote

If you have at least Platinum status, that hotel treats you very well, including upgrades to suites, its gym, its lounge access (where you can get a decent breakfast without paying extra). The location is perfect, only one block from Avenida Paulista, but, Lucky already knows these things. I posted in case other readers might want to stay at that hotel. Even if you do not have high status with Marriott's loyalty program, the hotel is very nice and in a great location, and it has a decent restaurant. It is likely that readers are going to visit Rodolfo's Lagoa, which is only a short Uber ride from the hotel. I was once talked into walking there but I doubt I will do it again (about two miles). There is a taxi stand across the street on the corner, but if you have Uber, you will get a better price and better service. Uber meets you in front of the entrance to the hotel. An odd thing happened when I was booking that hotel again. A month or two ago, I was making a reservation for Sao Paulo. At that hotel, the daily rates were around $400.00 U.S., but last year, the daily rates were around $200.00. I hesitated to book a room at twice the price and waited. Now, I see that the rates have come down to a little more than $200.00 daily. During the day, MASP is within walking distance of the hotel. MASP often has some excellent art on loan from various museums around the world. msclelovr and Lucky 2 Quote
