January 22, 20251 yr Yup, I spotted the second and third hand too. I noticed the way the left foot was different from the right (including longer), but wasn't sure if that was evidence of AI. Then there was the guy seated with legs apart, on a dirty mattress (dolphins on his blue briefs). The proportions looked a bit off -- not just head size but also he seemed to have eyes too big for an Asian.

January 23, 20251 yr Since I posted my observations above, maybe I should also chime in to explain my position. I certainly was not helping Moses "police" the forum (if at all he was). Eye candy is eye candy whether real pics, real pics substantially photoshopped or AI-generated. In the same way that movies based on a fictional story can be lovely and moving, and works of art, so can AI. We shouldn't say, "oh, it's fictional", and immediately diss a film's value. However, it is still useful to know when a film or book is fictional or true, and likewise when an image is AI-generated and when it is not. Sharing with others how to pick up the tell-tale signs has its usefulness, I think. (That being said, AI will get better and those tell-tale signs will no longer be visible in the near future.) It's the same with enjoying a wonderful dish, and then someone describes how such and such an ingredient is obtained. The truth does not affect one's objective appreciation of the dish, but it's probably interesting to know. However, the truth in some cases may be ugly, e.g. with a lot of environmental damage or abusive to animals, but it's still useful to know, for it may guide one's future approach to the dish.

And if you have concerns about AI pics, take it to Trump and Elon. Not sure WHAT your concern about AI in THIS sector is ?. I am pretty certain the pics wont HARM you.
