April 4, 20251 yr Try Omen Spa near Sukhumvit, it is open 24/7. You might not find the nicest masseurs available so early.

The same when flight leaves late in the evening- whole night is booked so I don't need to beg hotel for an extension

April 5, 20251 yr I have solved this arriving too early problem by sleeping at the BKK airport. There are many solutions available: https://www.sleepinginairports.net/guides/bangkok-suvarnabhumi-airport-guide.htm I used the 4 hours option at the Novotel located via a tunnel in the Suvarnabhumi airport. It was very convenient and comfortable.

It was very convenient and comfortable. I've stayed at the Novotel Suvarnabhumi a few times, it's quite nice but very pricey. They have actually rebranded to Hyatt Regency recently though.

April 5, 20251 yr I stayed in that capsule hotel once because of an early departure. It was fun to do for one short night, but would not consider it for every trip.

Supplementary services of the soft variety yes, but Omen is not comparable to Jey or the Prince when it comes to quality and selection of masseurs. I mentioned Omen here because it is open 24 hours, not because it is a shop I would recommend seeking out during normal opening hours.

Now Don Mueang. Had 9 hours to kill before flight down to SYD. So went to the on-site Hotel. Sign outside said Discounts Available. Whilst booking my room enquired into their discount. Bloke spoke to his colleague who was checking in another solo traveller, we looked at each other, but decided to remain solo!
April 6, 20251 yr Some hotels have an early check-in option. I know the Furama Silom does as I used the option last time I arrived at 630. I think I was able to check in at 9 which worked well with the time it took to clear migration, get my back, transport Silom.

And you don't have to change your hotel because you're already in your beloved place (Silom or whatever).
